Tara POV

Today was the day.

The day I got to see my family again.

I got out of bed and ate some cereal and called a taxi. When the cab came I said goodbye to my grandparents and put all of my belongings into the trunk.

This was permanent.

This was my life.

When I got to the airport I boarded the plane with surprisingly amazing service. When I got off the plane I took another taxi home. I got out of the vehicle and tripped I was fine but I checked to see if anyone was around. I grabbed my bags.

“Let's do this” I whispered to myself.

My heart beat felt like a sledgehammer.

No one was home but I found a note that said where my room and things were. I found things on my bed for the school year so I put the supplies in my backpack and took the subway to school.

Lucas POV

I met up with my friends at school. I was nervous for one Zay and I just turned 18 making me officially a vampire. I haven't told my friends and I don't know if I can act as responsible as my older sister Renesmee in school. Second, my mother said that we had a surprise in school. I already know that Renesmee transferred to our school, she was already in class.

We proceeded to class.

“Take your seats class we have a new student” said Mr.Matthews I was already skeptical. We took our seats and the new student walked in.

“Tara?!” Zay and I said in unison.

“Boys” she said in a very sly voice

This was our surprise. I could tell these next few years were going to be crazy.
