"Otis. I didn't know your partner had such a cute boyfriend." Odette, one of the agents had told Otis when he came back from his case.

"What are you talking about?" Otis asked, plucking whit feathers off his jacket.

He had just finished a battle against an 8 foot tall laser chicken, but it was nothing compared to the different types of odd creatures Odd Squad had to battle.

"How do you not know? You're like her best friend. Olympia's dating that new agent Oliver."

"Really?" Otis asked softly, pretty much left speechless at that news.

He felt heartbroken, but he made sure agent Odina wasn't able to see that.

"Yeah. They were kissing. Ugh no fair." She whined, before walking away.

Usually girls would swoon over agent Otis but it seemed like the new agent was getting more attention than ever.

That didn't matter to him though.

What did matter was how Olympia, the girl he grew to have feelings for was taken.

"Otis! I finally found you." Olympia beams as she rushes towards Otis' desk, who had been spending the majority of his time either moping or sleeping on his desk.

"Hmmm? Oh hey Olympia." He mumbles.

"I want you to meet Oliver." She said.

Oh please, anything but that. He thought.

"Oliver this is Otis. Otis, this is Oliver." She marvels as she introduces the two to each other.

Oliver smiled as he looks at the blonde boy.

"Nice to meet you." Oliver smiled.

Otis did not smile back but greeted him as well.

"Nice to meet you too." He repeats flatly. He looks up at Oliver, not surprised to see how handsome he was.

Of course someone as beautiful as Olympia would choose him. He thought.

"Oliver, in my office. I found you a desk." Ms O shouted as she popped up like she always did, startling them all.

"I also need you so you can meet your new partner."

Oliver nodded, before looking back at the two agents.

"Bye guys. It was nice meeting you." Oliver said before he walked away.

If they were dating why was he acting like they just met?

Otis wondered.

"I didn't know you two were dating." Otis blurted out.

"Huh?" Olympia said.

"No we aren't. Ugh, one of the girls told you that didn't they?"

"You guys aren't? But you....you two kissed, didn't you?"

"I had to do it. Those girls were mobbing that poor guy." She said blushing.

"So I lied that we were dating... don't tell them that I lied though." Olympia begged. "Oliver's clearly uncomfortable with too much attention."

Otis nodded.

He felt relieved but still felt a tad uneasy.

The new agent was admittedly very attractive, and he knew Olympia agreed. He could see in her her eyes, those beautiful doe eyes.

2 weeks later

Tomorrow we're throwing a party for Ms O'S birthday.. Here's your chance to finally tell Olympia how you really feel about her.

Otis told himself as he tugged on his tie and stared in the mirror.

Throughout these last few days he could've sworn Olympia and Oliver were way closer than ever.

He knew he had to tell Olympia before it was too late.
