Percy's POV

When I got to her lair I found it covered in webs as I expected, but I also smelled something powerful too, and I walked through the webs biting through them with my teeth and spitting out the remains before I saw where the power was coming from. It was a large statue of Athena and I realized that this must've been what was stolen a long time ago, but I had no way of carrying it and I passed it by but I felt something watching me from the shadows. I kept looking around as I walked and then I saw a green field, and I was about to run over to it when I smelled something. I slowly walked and just barely managed to avoid getting myself send into a deep and ancient hole separating me and the green field. 

"It's wonderful isn't it, the entrance to Tartarus himself on earth, and it doesn't connect to Hades' Realm at all" I heard a voice come from behind me and I jumped up wondering what could be making that voice, and when I looked behind me there was nothing to be seen. That was until a spider dropped to the floor suspended by a web as she looked at me with her strange eight eyes. 

"Not really" I said not afraid to talk using my voice even in wolf form 

"Oh my, such a beautiful creature tainted by darkness to walk this earth till either's end" it said dropping to the floor leaving the web stuck to the floor as a sort of anchor. She walked around me, but I just stepped over her web as she went around me trying to get me caught up in what she was saying so that I wouldn't noticed her trying to wrap me in one of her prisons "I used to be a beautiful specimen myself until Athena took that from me and cursed me to walk this earth as this hideous thing. Like you" 

"I am not a cursed thing, what I received was a blessing from my first father" I said stepping over her again and I could smell her frustration every time I stepped over it or clawed my way through it if she went faster. I stepped out of her way and shifted making Revenge and Slayer as I pointed them towards her "and I will give you a deal. You accept your fate of death and I'll give you a quick death, or you can try to fight me and I'll tear you apart" I said and then chuckling was heard as her form melted into a pile of webs leaving me confused. 

"You cannot kill me" she said seemingly coming from everywhere "I've killed and feasted upon those who've tried, and let me tell you I'll take my time devouring you because you threatened me so" I put away my knives and had three arrows shot in the areas of her voice in seconds, but I heard no hiss or howl of pain and I looked around warily as I pulled back the string again letting another arrow take it's place. 

"You will never kill me" she said from just behind me and I quickly spun around faster than she could react and I used the edge of my bow to slice at her leg making her melt into webs again and leaving the stump of a leg in the middle of the nest of silk and golden ichor seeping into the fabric. 

"You will pay for that" I heard her hiss from the other side of the room and she had an arrow in where her shoulder would be if she were anything else, and then I saw her disappear again and something pushed me back towards the Pit before pulling me forwards, and I got my knives ready, but they were snatched from my hands by two blobs of silk flying at them knocking them from my hands. I put my hand in my pocket and pulled out Riptide in pen form and I tried grabbing the silk with my hands and ripping it off me, and I felt my wristbands return but not before my hands where covered in silk and I fought 'helplessly' as she reeled me in laughing. 

"I will feast off of you and then drag you out of Tartarus again, and again till you fade" she said and I saw her eyes, I put a nail against the bottom of the cap and readied to push it off, but I wasn't close enough yet to actually kill her. I saw her gleaming fangs and changed my mind, I pushed off Riptides cap and it sliced through the webs like paper, and I swung in a wide arc cutting her in half and then I stabbed upwards and caught her underside before throwing her over my head and into the Pit. I heard her screaming as she went over the edge having lost too much blood and strength to climb her way up. I tore the rest of the webs off due to my glamour having been destroyed due to the webs having magial properties and I grabbed a-lot of yarn before getting the statue ready for the others to pick it up, and then I grabbed more yarn and jumped in after the spider to finish her off. 

It seemed like forever as I fell, and I sent a couple arrows lit with fire down further but there seemed to be no end, and then I felt the makeshift rope go slack and I panicked. I pulled it down and when I saw the end it gleamed like something had cut it, and I shot an arrow up to see why, but the arrow and it's flame disappeared a long ways up. I fell for what seemed like hours, and then I saw something red and the smell of dry air and stench reached my nose. I saw the arachnid looking up woefully and then her eyes widened when she saw me and I got out my knives and prepared to make her spider soup. 

I landed ungracefully on my face before laying there in pain as my body slowly healed, and then I felt something stab into my back and I yelled in pain before swiping backwards with my knives and there was a crunching sound before something wet dripped onto my back and I felt something even worse than the pain of being stabbed get into my system and I screamed in pain before throwing the thing off and slicing at it in the air and there was a dying hiss and a little explosion of yellow dust as Arachne died. I smelled a river nearby, and I slowly painfully made my way over to it. It felt like I was walking for hours and my walking was close to that of a zombie as thirst, hunger, and pain were the only things on my mind. 

I got to the river, and it looked like a river made of darkness and pain, and I realized that this was the Styx river and unless I was to make it out of here I had to cross it. 

"This sucks" I said and then I was about the step into the water when a glow came on the surface of it, and there was a boat with a note in it. I took the note and read it

I know that you want to cross my river, and you hadn't wanted to bathe in it, however if you bathe in my river then I shall be able to tell you where your weak mark is and your will be able to speak to me, the choice is yours and yours alone. I must tell you though the place you seek will be guarded by an army and the doors of death have been chained down and let monsters though to your world. You must stop this by finding Iapetus and asking him to aid you, but only one will go though and I do not know who. 

Lady Styx

I considered the highs and lows and then I decided that if I was to go against an army and I didn't have the ability to shift due to being weak and helpless. Then I was going to need all the help I could get, so I got off the boat pushing it into the current so that I wouldn't change my mind and I stepped into the river letting it sweep me away as I floated on my back trying to bear the pain of a thousand skies on my shoulders while thinking of my memories and needs for others. 

Then I blacked out and I found myself looking into what seemed to be a living room, and I saw a woman standing and looking at me. 

"Thank you for trusting me" she said and I noticed her skin was pale and her eyes were the same color as the river I was in "I am Lady Styx and you now have my blessing" she was suddenly right in-front of me and I felt a cold hand against my head before the surroundings faded and I was plunged into darkness. 

I woke up thinking where am I and then I saw the golden eyes of a familiar face, and I shot up and got Riptide out pointing it at my grandfathers chest. He didn't even flinch and it confused me. 

"Now what do you want" I said and then he suddenly smiled and his fist found my face before my vision went dark, again. The second time I woke up I felt something against my wrists, and legs, and when I saw his face again I tried to pull at my wrists but my arms were stopped. 

"What have you done to me" I growled and he chuckled circling me

"Oh it's not what I have done, but what I am going to do" she said "though due to your new curse that it going to be much harder to achieve" he said 

"Ooh when I get out of this chair I am going to" he cut me off, He freaking cut me off.

"Oh no you are not going to be doing anything" he said and I had enough. My arms grew as I started the shift and I broke through the bonds and dug my claws into his chest ripping up his skin and biting his neck until his screams ceased and I ripped out his heart after I had calmed down enough to change, and I crushed it in my hands. Then I watched his body fade into the ground not turning to dust like last time and I felt a new power in my body as I presumably gained his domains. I couldn't summon water down here due to it being so dry and horrible, so I just lost my glamour. I didn't need it while down here anyways, and I heard a cry in the cell next to mine as I walked down the corridor. 

I stepped back to see another titan groaning in pain with many large cuts on his body and I wondered why another titan would treat his own like this, and then I realized that this must be Iapetus and I quickly burned through the bars and ripped open the door. Then he seemed to cower back into a corner of the cell mumbling. 

"Don't hurt me, not again please" he said and I put my hand on his shoulder making him scream and try to push it off. 

"Look I am not going to hurt you" I said "I can get you out of here but I need to know where the doors of death are chained" I saw him open his eyes slowly and then they widened when they saw me. 

"No your just one of his children sent in here to torture me again" he said pushing me away and running to the opposite corner.

This is going to be harder than I thought I thought and I heard the growls of monsters coming nearer and I shifted into my Nemean lion form and swatted at his face with my paw rendering him unconscious and I grabbed his shirt and threw him over my shoulder onto my back and ran out of the place destroying any monsters that stood in my way. When I got out I huffed in annoyance when I saw a sea of monsters going towards these big steel doors that reeked of death but the monsters weren't going through it yet for some reason. I needed to get to those doors and close them, but one of us would have to stay back and stay here to defeat all of these things. 

I roared giving away my surprise and then time seemed to slow down as I shot towards the gates killing legions of monsters and sending them to reform again to make their way here for no reason. I felt Iapetus slip off of my back and he regained consciousness and immediately took off when he saw all the monsters closing in around him, and when he saw me as well. I huffed in annoyance thinking traitor and continued to kill monsters while they seemed to be moving slowly or unable to move due to my new power. I shifted again as I reached the doors and I stopped at the doors killing any monster that got too close and then I drew on fire and blasted a wall of it around me for miles and then I felt something of darkness come in and it pushed me out. I screamed trying to go back in but I got pinned to the ground as Hazel cut her wrist and sealed these sides of the doors and then I felt the doors close entirely. Then the bonds to them fell away and the kid reappeared out of a shadow breathing heavily with a couple cuts on him. 

The people restraining me stepped away and I shot up growling with my clawed hands outstretched to defend myself since I couldn't shift in this small space, and using my knives would give me away. Then the kid of darkness pulled out his sword as well as the others and they all aimed them at me driving me to the doors with my back against them like a wall. 

"What are you and why'd you get out" it was Hazel and then I heard a sizzling and something large breathing before a drakon was behind the others. Then the spear touched my skin and I screamed as the shock of the electricity went through me. 

"This isn't the way I wanted to meet" I said giving my grin I've shown Hazel and Frank and the drakon and Hazel faltered shocked but the spear made contact again and I screamed out again as it made contact with my skin for longer than it should have. Then it suddenly disappeared and I fell to the floor breathing hard, and then I felt a hand on my shoulder but I instinctively swiped and there was a shout as my claws met skin. 

"I'm so sorry Annabeth I didn't mean it" I said realizing who was clutching their arm in pain now, and then the boy with yellow hair walked up to her and gave her something which she ate and the wounds healed

"No Percy I'm sorry for scaring you, I shouldn't have touched you like that, especially since you went through-through" she couldn't say it so I did. 

"The Pit, Tartarus" I said not meeting her eyes "yeah that sucked, but I have the blessing of Lady Styx and it doesn't protect me from electricity what's up with that" it was really directed to Lady Styx, but I accidentally said it aloud. 

Persephrone my blessing only protects outside attacks not attacks on the inside of the body she said in my head and I threw my hands in the air hitting the ceiling accidentally and making a large gash in the stone. 

"That helps a-lot, why didn't you warn me about that" I asked aloud again, and got no reply "great now I'm getting the silent treatment" I walked around the drakon who was looking at me with an amused expression, but I stopped at the stairs and looked back at the others. 

"Aren't we going to leave" I said "our war isn't done, I'm guessing Gaea rose the giants and they are in Greece now" I marched up the stairs and then was met with a silver arrow pointing my face.
