Artemis' POV

I saw my hunters clear the top of the other side and then twenty arrows appeared by Percy's feet making her roar in anger and shift into her mixed form and run off with my hunters shooting at her before Phoebe looked at me and shook her head.

"Damn it" I said punching the wall and making it crack before the whole thing shattered, and I looked back towards the humans and then turned away and ran over the hill with my hunters not far behind. Those Griffins that Percy had killed were the only thing we needed to give us hope, and then I had to act on reflex by protecting the stupid humans, or at least thinking I was.

Tony's POV

I watched the pretty lady run off after hitting the wall of a glassy substance, and the ladies with silver dresses and bows ran after her. I flew up with my suit to see where they were going, but there was a silver streak and they were gone. I went down to the others and looked at them with the same shock.

"What just happened" Bruce spoke first and everyone shook their heads.

"We need to do some more research on this new woman before we go out searching for Persephone again" Captain said and we all nodded, except for Fury who just stormed out to the plane. We had to grab the unconscious 'guards' and drag them onto the plane before we took off and went back to the tower.

---Three hours later--

"Hey guys you're gonna want to hear this" Bruce said from the lab room and Clint killed me one last time before swiftly shutting down the game.

"Oh come on Clint you had to get the last kill while I was distracted" I exclaimed and he just ignored me and disappeared in the hall "unbelievable" I followed him and Bruce started to spew like a fountain.

"So do you guys know of Greek mythology" we all nodded

"Yeah I've read a couple of books about them" Natasha said and we all looked at her shocked "what a girl can't read" we shrugged and turned back to him and he turned over a tablet and it showed an ancient picture of a bunch of women in silver parkas and a bigger woman above them and they all had bows aimed at a group of men.

"They are a sacred group of man hating women who have sworn off marriage, men, and they all are masters of the bow" he said and I took the tablet

"What have you found out about her turning into..that thing" Steve said "and her condition"

"Um I don't know what sickness she has, but I did find out about the shifting thing and there are many possibilities" he said "it could've been Lycaon, the king of wolves" there was a long deep growl going through the building and then we all saw red eyes on the top of a beam before a catlike figure came down. Then it came in-front of us and I recognized the eyes, but Steve decided to be stupid and he started to go up to it.

"She's not going to hurt me guys, sheesh" he said and slowly went up to her with his shield out and facing her, but she just hit the shield with a paw and the next thing we knew the shield was in her mouth and then she put it on the ground and used her front paw to drag it to the back paw to drag it behind her.

"You don't need that" she said and I did not scream, but then I was laughing as Bruce dropped his tablet, and Steve was at her side now and was putting his hand to her fur. She looked at him in curiosity before sighing and the ground shifted under him as he was thrown in the air screaming to land on her back. We all got out hidden weapons, except for Bruce who didn't have a weapon, and I called the hand part of my suit using my bracelet, and a little while later it clasped to my hand and I powered up the beam ready to shoot.

"You don't need weapons, I am not going to steal him again, and after all I don't want to be with the hunters for a long while until I am better about what they did to me and my family, but I can't fully join you either" she said and her voice was creepy and beautiful at the same time, and it was strange "yes a-lot of you are wondering how I got in, and that was easy, just changing into a bird, using the landing-pad and then changing again while I slept and watched you guys since you came back"

"Wait you were here the entire time" Natasha and Clint said at the same time and then they glared at each-other.

"Yes, and your little fit for losing a game on the technology was very funny, and seeing the guy's reactions when they saw the ancient drawing was also funny, and then you said the L word"

"What Ly--"

"DON'T" she roared making the building shake, and then she looked down "don't say that name"

"Why what had he done to you" I asked watching as Steve slid off her back and grabbed his shield before coming over to us, and she seemed to get slightly smaller as she changed. Then we were staring at an over sized wolf with silver fur with different colored streaks in it. She was very pretty, and dangerous looking.

"This is my wolf form, you might want to sit down because this is going to be a long talk" she said and then four chairs formed and she lay down while we went to the chairs, but hesitated "I promise I won't trap you again like in the room" that comforted up a little and then we sat down and when nothing happened her relaxed a little.

"When I was little I met a wolf who I later gave the name to as Lyn, and over the years he trained me and helped me get stronger and better for the gift he wanted to give me, and this training lasted two years every night. Finally I wanted the gift and he changed me, a coupe days later during a half moon I changed and he thought something was wrong, and then I accidentally killed him" she stared at the ground and a shiny drop of water fell along with her "when I changed my fur burned his body until he was half-dead, and when he died after telling me to never give up and to find the pack and lead them after telling them what I was and what happened to him. Then when he closed his eyes one last time I slept against him in sadness and pain at what I did even though he told me it wasn't my fault" her head rose again "the next time I woke up he was dust and I saw an arrow in his place, I took the arrow and framed it in his memory, and then I was blessed by a lion, a Nemean lion and he took me to Rhea who blessed me as well, and due to my shifting powers I was able to shift into a lion" she shifted again and there was a silver lioness and I heard Natasha gasp in amazement "this is my other form and the form you saw during my fight was when I get really angry like Hulk, and I change into both form, or now that I am the god of shifting and all animals, I shift into a more powerful animal"

She shifted back and sat on the floor, and she was still like four feet sitting down.

"I do not know why I look like this in my human form, but I do and I cannot change that, nor do I want to" she said and we all looked at her with a little fear as we took in her dangerous form. She was rather pretty and I had to keep from staring but that was rather hard "and I will join your team since I know that pirate wanted me to, but I will get to do my own things unless I am needed, k"

"Okay" Steve said going up to her from his chair and all the sudden all of our chairs sank into the ground and me and Bruce fell on our butts as Natasha and Clint stood from the change "but in order to join you'll have to answer our questions and do our tests in-front of a camera and in a solitary room"

"Fine, as long as Pirate doesn't come into here" she said and Natasha motioned for her to follow us and we all left with me, Thor, and Clint trying to hold in our laughter. She lead us to a solitary room and when the door closed behind Persephone we burst.

"She-she called Fury a 'pirate'" I said holding my knees and we laughed for the next couple minutes as Steve went in there to pointlessly test her strength.

Percy's POV

I sat there smirking as I realized that Tony, Clint, and Thor were laughing at what I said about the eye-patch man, and then the door opened and I was about to stand to force pirate out, but Steve came in instead and I sat down and relaxed.

"Relax I am just here to test your strength since the other guys were too busy laughing to notice anything going on in here" he said and then he sat down and put his arm out on the table in an arm wrestle, and I smiled this was going to be way too easy. I grabbed his hand and he said the countdown and I stayed where I was not moving a muscle as I toyed with him.

"You are actually pretty strong for a human, but why would you think you could beat me at this when I took down Hulk" I said "oh and I can grab the hammer, and knock out Thor with it" I slowly pushed down his hand until it was about an inch or so above the table and then I went down the rest of the way and gently put his arm against the table. He stood up and walked out not saying a word and the sound of new laughter was heard from the hall. Natasha came in next and I wondered what she was going to ask me, or have me do.

" I am going to test your weapons use" she said and I smiled as I stood up and she lead me out with the whirring of cameras as they followed us to see where I was going and I felt pirate behind them due to the hole in his head where an eye should be. We got to a shooting range and I saw a table full of different weapons. Everything was made of metal so I could fire the gun manipulate the bullet and still hit the target if I missed, but I didn't need to use my powers...well sort of.

She picked up two pistols and shot four holes in the chest and four in the head before setting them down. I picked up the same pistols and held them in my palm calculating and then I decided to have a little fun. I destroyed the paper dummy and then I made the section fade into the entrance of a maze and I enchanted it to make it larger. Then I turned to her and made a tablet before showing her the red dots and the sections I was going to use different weapons, at different lengths and then I gave her the tablet and ran into the maze with my pistols. I ran through the maze dominating everything I saw, and I used the pistols, my hands, close range knives, throwing knives, rifles at close and far range, and hand to hand kill combat. Then I walked out the end of the maze at like what three minutes, and put all the weapons back as I snapped my fingers and the place was quiet as I put the weapons away and they stared at the metal robots that I put in place besides dummies.

"Oh and they were at such a high level that not even the seals could've killed them without losing a couple or all of their people" I put the last weapon, a rifle, on the table and turned to them "and they are very hard to kill with no weakness, not even their eyes or cords, everything made of my metal as well, which you can use if you want. I am not sucking it in, too much to take back, and I'll be fine without it" I said and then turned to a very shocked Clint

"So what are we doing next" I said and he walked out of there in a shocked state, and then he lead me to the council that him and Tony played that game on, and I smiled. After I learned all of the buttons by watching them, and memorizing the main spawn places and patterns Clint and Tony took when they play, I had fallen asleep.

"So this is what we are doing huh" I said and plopped on the couch as he set up the game with a 'yeah'.

I watched him sit there for a while and then when he set up the game I handed him my remote and he put me in the game as well. Then the game started and I crushed him going to every place he was and killing him with the preset classes. To say that he was mad at the end was an understatement, he was furious (no pun intended) and he threw the remote at the tv but I stopped it before it could do any serious damage and then I shut off he power in the box thing using my powers and he went to the interrogation room with Tony shocked and the others laughing at his antiques. I went back into the room and then Bruce came in.

"Okay I'm Bruce as you probably already know and I am going to be testing your physical and mental health" I frowned, this was going to be a pain to hide.
