92- Over Zealous Jealousy

Hello, all you beautiful and lovely people~♡ I hope that things are going well for you all.:3 I have the worst sleep schedule right now with sleeping in 4 hour block increments rather than 8 hours.🤣😂 But such is my life and that's better than the 30 minutes to an hours worth of sleep days.😂🤣 My mind refuses to shut down for any long period of time, I guess.🤣😂🤷‍♀️ Either way, this is how I get my writing done anyway.😂🤣 So this chapter doesn't have anything too triggering, other than a minor fight involving jealousy.🤭 But while it's nothing too serious, please remain advised when reading~♡ Especially because shit is about to get crazy between two key characters that will involve an age gap. So I hope that you're looking forward to that~♡ Without further ado, please enjoy this next chapter~♡

Taehyung and Jungkook enjoyed each other's company and relaxed with each other that entire week. Before they knew it, they had to return to their everyday lives and their children. While Taehyung was happy to be seeing his babies once again, he was going to miss the time to themselves and the constant free time to indulge in the pleasures of each other whenever they wanted.

Taehyung heard Jungkook's soft sigh next to him as he offered an encouraging smile. "I know it's been a great week, but we were going to have to leave eventually," Taehyung reasoned softly as Jungkook smiled at the memories. "I know, I know. I guess I just wanted to remain sixteen a little while longer and not have to take on adult responsibilities so soon," Jungkook mumbled under his breath, hanging his head. At least Taehyung had hired a private tutor for his schooling so that he wouldn't have to attend an actual high school anymore. It would help curb some of the stress he was about to take on.

Taehyung rang the doorbell to his family's home, waiting patiently for his mother to answer. When she did open the door, the kids stopped playing around long enough for Annalise to catch sight of Jungkook. They watched as her beautiful, honey brown eyes lit up and she rushed her way to Jungkook. Jungkook chuckled as she slammed into his leg full force before leaning down to pick her up. "My princess! Did you miss me while I was gone?" Jungkook asked playfully as she vigorously nodded her head, clinging to Jungkook. Taehyung smiled softly, watching as Gabriel and Ezra rushed towards them as well, both Jungkook and Taehyung receiving hugs from them.

"Hello, my babies," Taehyung greeted happily, crouching down to kiss all over their faces. Ezra pushed against Taehyung's face with his small fists grumpily as Gabriel stood there and accepted every kiss Taehyung gave him. "How were they, Mama? Not too bad, I hope?" Taehyung asked softly, worried his mother would be fed up with watching them so much. "They were angel babies, baby boy! No need to ask if they were bad at all," she praised excitedly, glad the kids could be reunited with Taehyung and Jungkook. "Annalise was a bit of a handful without Jungkook to put her to bed, but she just loves her dad so much," she defended just as excitedly, waving away the fact that she'd even mentioned Annalise misbehaving in any way.

"How was the honeymoon?" His mother asked as Jungkook and Taehyung shared a look. "It was relaxing and... fun," Taehyung finally answered, chuckling softly as he picked Ezra up. Ezra immediately curled up into Taehyung's neck, closing his eyes for a well needed and much deserved nap. Taehyung gently patted Ezra's back with one hand and grabbed Gabriel's hand with his free hand. "But we'll see you later, Mama! Thank you for watching the kids! I'll send you something nice," Taehyung called over his shoulder, walking towards their car with everyone else in tow.

The next morning, Jungkook sat up in bed and stretched his back. It was time that he returned to the office as enacting CEO and he certainly wasn't looking forward to it. He'd much rather be in that hot tub with Taehyung once again, looking out at the mountains while they fooled around. He glanced over to see Taehyung still fast asleep, but that was fine with him. Taehyung needed his rest. He stood to his feet and stretched his back once again as he walked over towards the bathroom to take a shower. Nothing said wide awake like a cold 5 am shower.

He briskly showered, dressed, and tidied himself up before walking downstairs to see Jimin making breakfast for the babies. "Wh- What's going on?" Jungkook asked as Jimin quickly turned around and smiled. "Tae asked me to do a few things for him today. He said he's still not feeling well. So I made breakfast for the kids and I made you lunch for work," Jimin stated too enthusiastically for the morning as Jungkook smiled gratefully and accepted the bento box. "Thank you," Jungkook announced humbly, giving each of the kids a kiss on the head before walking towards the door. It was at that moment that Annalise decided to throw a tantrum and whine for Jungkook to pick her up.

Jimin quickly rushed over and picked Annalise up, waving at Jungkook as Annalise continued to wail, even after Jungkook had shut the door behind him. Jimin gently rocked her, trying to calm her as Taehyung slowly made his way down the stairs. Jimin could see the dark circles under his eyes and the way his cheeks looked slightly more sunk in again. "Is everything okay, Tae? You're looking a bit worse for wear," Jimin chimed in, handing Annalise over to Taehyung when he'd beckoned for her. Annalise pushed and struggled with Taehyung for several minutes before finally calming down enough to eat again. Taehyung offered a soft smile towards Jimin as he placed Annalise back into her high chair and removed her pacifier. Taehyung handed her a tiny spoon and allowed her to feed herself as he turned back towards Jimin. "I'll be fine. I'm just having to take it a lot easier than normal now that I've physically started coughing up blood," Taehyung explained as Jimin stared at him dumbfounded. "You need to tell Jungkook," Jimin advised sternly, trying to stop the secrecy.

Jimin could see the pained expression in Taehyung's eyes as he clutched at his chest. "I want to tell him. Believe me, I do, but I'm so fucking terrified to do so. Even now," Taehyung explained earnestly, shaking the thoughts from his head. "I know keeping him in the dark will only hurt more later, but I... I just can't," Taehyung added softly, tearing up as he grabbed onto Jimin for support. Jimin hastily held onto Taehyung as he hacked and coughed until he was in physical pain and expelling blood once again. "Why don't you lay down, Tae, and take a nap. I've got the kids," Jimin reassured softly, laying Taehyung down on the couch. He watched as Taehyung swiftly drifted back off to sleep and bit his lip at the neglect of Taehyung's own health.

Jungkook sat silently at the large desk, reading over a file folder that had been given to him for approval. Although, they had been striving to get Jungkook to sign it without reading through it, thinking they could pull a fast one over on him because of his age. Although Jungkook wasn't as uneducated as they were hoping. He slid the document across his desk with a stern and unsatisfied glare. "Fix the proposal. This doesn't benefit anybody involved but this company and I will not have Tae's family name tarnished," Jungkook barked out at the advisors as a slender blond with curvy legs and a shapely body sashayed into his office like she owned the place. Jungkook looked up and raised an eyebrow in question as she approached his desk. "Who are you?" Jungkook asked sternly as she took a seat on the edge of his desk with an elegant smile.

"I'm your personal secretary, silly," she answered cheerfully, crossing her legs and placing her hands on her knees. "If there's anything I can do for you, you let me know," she announced in a sultry voice, taking Jungkook back to all the times Taehyung had used that voice on him. He froze for several seconds, hoping and praying that his secretary wasn't already hitting on him as he turned towards her and fixed her with a blank stare, shooing away his subordinates. "And why are you sitting on my desk like so? It's unprofessional and I don't believe I asked for you to sit there," he reprimanded professionally, knowing he could have said a lot worse. He was trying to watch his words though while in the office and sound more diplomatic.

"Fine, fine, you party pooper," she addressed nonchalantly, waving her hand in dismissal but made no conscientious effort to move. Jungkook huffed in annoyance and swiveled his chair in her direction as well, trying to enunciate his annoyance in that moment. "I'm going to ask you again, although I shouldn't have to. Please, go sit at your desk," Jungkook insisted sternly when the intercom interrupted his train of thought. "Sir, your husband is here to see you. Should I allow him access?" Jungkook's male secretary asked as Jungkook sighed with exasperation. He just needed to fire all the incompetent people and hire better employees.

"It's his company! Yes! Allow him entrance," Jungkook almost shouted, exasperated with everyone. Jungkook shot his personal secretary a deadly look, his jaw clenched tight. "Move," Jungkook rebuked harshly just as the door opened. Before the woman could even move, Taehyung poked his head into the room and caught her sitting on Jungkook's desk. The way Jungkook was positioned appeared as if he'd been watching her with intrigue and Jungkook felt his heart leap into his throat when Taehyung's eyes narrowed.

Taehyung stepped inside Jungkook's office, calmly closing the door as he walked towards Jungkook's desk as well. "Who are you?" Taehyung posed the question now as she hopped off Jungkook's desk, flashing him the fact that she wasn't wearing any underwear before she brushed her skirt down neatly against her legs. "My name's Caddie," she introduced herself, holding her hand out for Taehyung to shake. Taehyung only glared at her hand, never once moving to shake her hand before posing his next question. "What are you doing here?" Taehyung asked with a voice that was strained and Jungkook could sense the hostility building in the room. "I'm sir's personal secretary," she announced happily as Jungkook buried his head into his arms on his desk.

She'd used his trigger word, been caught with him in what was obviously a compromising situation and Taehyung was already pissed enough. Jungkook could see it on Taehyung's face the moment he poked his head through that door. "Oh? And who authorized your position?" Taehyung asked and Jungkook could almost hear the amount of restraint Taehyung was using. "A Mr. Kim," she stated in annoyance, almost like that should have been obvious to Taehyung. That's when both Taehyung and Jungkook realized this was Taehyung's father's doing without a word ever being uttered between them. He was just trying to create discord in their marriage, but it had obviously worked on Taehyung.

"Well, I didn't authorize it. So leave," Taehyung announced sternly, his voice dropping in pitch as a chill ran up Jungkook's spine. Jungkook knew he was in for it when he returned home tonight. He looked up briskly and hastily moved to his feet, walking around his desk rapidly. "My love, wait. We can't just fire her. She hasn't done anything wrong and she could hit us with a lawsuit for wrongful termination," Jungkook whispered frantically, only to have Taehyung's glare turned on him. "Then you leave! I've got it from here on out if she's here," Taehyung yelled angrily, halting himself in embarrassment when his words reverberated off the walls and back to him. Taehyung covered his mouth in surprise and embarrassment at his jealousy, averting his gaze before he dashed out the door, leaving Caddie and Jungkook both surprised.

That night, when Jungkook trudged through the door, weary and worn down after a hard day of work, he was greeted with absolute and utter silence. Jungkook trudged up the stairs, expecting the worst as he opened their bedroom door. Angrily huddled up in the blankets sat Taehyung, who threw the remote at Jungkook as soon as he entered the room. "Get out. Sleep in your office," Taehyung spat out venomously, his jealousy spiking once more when he saw Jungkook. Jungkook picked the remote up that Taehyung had thrown and placed it on the nightstand once more, turning towards Taehyung. "What is your problem? There wasn't anything going on and you're acting like I fucked this woman," Jungkook blurted out angrily, tossing his briefcase down. He was doing his best to control his anger, but there was only so much a man could take before being pushed past his breaking point.

"Well, do you want to fuck her?" Taehyung asked possessively, spitting his anger into venomous words that would hurt them both. Taehyung pushed himself off the bed and to his feet, standing in front of Jungkook aggressively. "I wasn't the one watching her as she sat preening on your desk and showing you her ass," Taehyung spat out, moving to get around Jungkook. If he wasn't going to leave, Taehyung certainly could. Although, Jungkook's harsh grip on his shoulders stopped him dead in his tracks. "Just because she was doing that shit doesn't mean I wanted her! Not once did I think of her sexually! In fact, I thought of you when she was trying to seduce me! Why are you being so stubborn about this?!" Jungkook shouted angrily, shaking Taehyung as the elder collapsed into Jungkook and pounded his fists against Jungkook's chest.

"Because you'll be with her every day... She'll see you more than I will with this job and you could easily be swayed by her feminine wiles because you prefer both," Taehyung cried softly as Jungkook wrapped his arms firmly around Taehyung and held him tight. "My love... You don't have to worry about me being swayed by her. Whether I liked both females and males in the past, I have no need for anyone else when I have you," Jungkook explained tenderly, caressing his fingers through Taehyung's hair as the elder sobbed softly. "She can't even hold a candle to your beauty, Tae. That, I can promise you," Jungkook reassured softly, trying to coax Taehyung into looking at him. Jungkook could tell that Taehyung had been doing a lot of crying since leaving the office and he felt miserable seeing his baby's cheeks tear stained and his eyes puffy.

"I love you so much, Tae that I was willing to perish if you had died that first day of our honeymoon. Nobody is ever going to take that away from you. You will always have me and I will always have you," Jungkook comforted quietly, kissing Taehyung's lips tenderly. "Now, I don't want to go to bed angry so I'll apologize to you. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings, baby. It honestly wasn't my intention," Jungkook apologized earnestly, even though he really hadn't done anything wrong. Taehyung sniffled softly and averted his gaze at his own behavior before he nodded firmly. "I- I'm sorry too, darling. I should have heard you out rather than accuse you," Taehyung apologized earnestly as well, earning a soft chuckle from Jungkook before being swept off his feet. Jungkook gently laid Taehyung in the bed and laid down beside him, kissing him tenderly throughout the night until they fell asleep in each other's arms.
