After several weeks of Taehyung finally looking better from their daily walks and his breathing treatments, they continued planning for their wedding. Taehyung wanted the wedding to be as soon as it started getting cold enough to snow because he wanted the possibility of having a white wedding. Especially since they'd shared their first kiss in the snow on a cold winter night.

When their plans were finished and they'd booked their venue, they began setting up appointments to taste cakes, view flowers, buy gifts for their groomsmen, and other such necessary appointments that come with preparing for a wedding. Each day Jungkook would return home from work and they were off on an errand that they'd reserved for that day, both trying their hardest to accomplish everything by the date they'd set. Their wedding date had been set for the last few days of December, hoping that they'd have a higher chance for snow. Taehyung had picked the venue, an elaborate vineyard that came from a manor that was built in 1895. Jungkook didn't realize this vineyard and manor were well known for the distinguished and wealthy. He had wondered why Taehyung would pick this place until he saw the picture of it covered in snow.

The picture was magnificent and Jungkook realized that it would definitely make their wedding more magical and elegant. Jungkook had smiled at Taehyung and assured him to do whatever made him happy. So here they stood the day before their wedding in front of a manor with 250 rooms as Jungkook admired the elegance and grandeur. Although they were just scouting the estate for the exact location they would be having their wedding for now, Jungkook finally closed his mouth and turned to Taehyung with wide eyes. "How on god's green earth did we afford this?!" Jungkook asked with little ability to hide his astonishment as Taehyung stifled a giggle. "Silly man," Taehyung jibed teasingly, kissing Jungkook's cheek. "I did tell you at one point that I saved just about all the money Mama and Papa allowed me," Taehyung reiterated with a soft chuckle, only for Jungkook to raise a questioning eyebrow. "How were you able to feed your addiction then?" Jungkook asked cautiously, curious about how Taehyung procured the drugs to fuel his desire to want to rehabilitate himself.

Taehyung's mouth quirked slightly at the question, finding his previous response self-explanatory while this question was a waste of his time. "Didn't I just say that I saved just about all the money Mama and Papa gave me, love?" Taehyung asked in retort, his annoyance getting the better of him in his tone. Jungkook merely rolled his eyes at Taehyung's biting tone before responding. "It was only a question, love. No need to get yourself twisted," Jungkook responded sharply, turning away from Taehyung and staring up at the place that their wedding would be held. Both Taehyung and Jungkook were silent for several moments before Taehyung sighed softly with surrender. He didn't know why he'd been so irritated with Jungkook when he'd answered, but he was already starting to regret the tone of voice he'd taken with him. Especially now that he could see Jungkook's side profile and the twisted expression of someone trying not to let something bother them.

"I'm sorry, Kookie," Taehyung mumbled softly, catching the younger male's attention once again. "I guess I'm just feeling a little anxious about the wedding... Although, that's still no excuse for me to have taken it out on you," Taehyung continued to mumble, his shame getting the better of him. The last part was barely audible to Jungkook as he stared at Taehyung to discern if he'd heard Taehyung properly. "What was that, love?" Jungkook inquired for clarification, his voice sharp with disapproval. If he'd heard that last comment properly, he was definitely going to have to fix the way Taehyung thought about himself. "I was apologizing f--"

"After that," Jungkook interrupted as Taehyung swallowed hard from the cutting tone Jungkook's voice had taken on. Taehyung felt like a small child being reprimanded by his father once more as he thought back to what he'd said after apologizing. His eyes widened with realization as he clapped a hand over his mouth and stared at Jungkook in horror. Had he honestly said out loud that he was more like his father than he realized? No wonder Jungkook sounded so angry with him right now as Jungkook's eyes narrowed on him. "That's what I thought," Jungkook's stern voice cut Taehyung to the core, his eyes still narrowed on him. "You do realize that you'll need to be punished for saying anything of that sort, right? How dare you even say that about yourself," Jungkook chastised Taehyung severely, extraordinarily hurt by what Taehyung thought about himself at that moment. "You are so much more and much more of a better person than your father could ever dream of being. I don't ever want to hear those words leave your mouth again," Jungkook choked out, his voice strained with the threat of frustrated tears.

Taehyung was silent for several moments before he nodded solemnly at Jungkook, his guilt quietly consuming him. Taehyung didn't even realize the impact those words would have on Jungkook as they stared at each other in deafening silence. "I'm sorry," Taehyung finally spoke, swallowing any anxiety he had to continue pushing through the awkward atmosphere. "I didn't think about what I was saying before the words left my mouth," Taehyung continued to apologize, earning an exasperated sigh from Jungkook. It was then that Taehyung realized Jungkook wasn't furious towards him. Jungkook was more upset about the nature of the conversation as Taehyung laid his head on Jungkook's shoulder in realization. "I love you," Taehyung announced softly, tilting his head slightly to look up at Jungkook. Taehyung could see the small smile creep its way across Jungkook's face along with a soft pink tint to his cheeks as Taehyung continued to smooth things over with Jungkook in his own way.

"You're not playing fair, you know that," Jungkook mumbled under his breath as he glanced down to see Taehyung's deep and wide eyes focused on him. "Definitely not fair," Jungkook mumbled again as he turned his head away from Taehyung and crossed his arms over his chest. Taehyung smiled softly as he wrapped his hands around Jungkook's arm, still peering up at him in the same wholesome way. "Are you excited our wedding will be held here?" Taehyung asked playfully, well aware the waters were safe to tread again. Jungkook smiled fully at this question, nodding his answer softly. "Of course. Although, I'm most excited about the fact that I'll be marrying you," Jungkook teased back now, knowing that would work just as well as Taehyung's eyes worked on him. Work it did. Jungkook heard it. The audible gulp that a soft pant soon followed from Taehyung. Taehyung had tried to stifle it, but Jungkook had heard it clear as day.

"Now you're not being fair," Taehyung whined softly, still holding onto Jungkook's arm. Jungkook smiled softly before turning back towards Taehyung and kissing the tip of his nose. "All in a day's work, my love. Shall we taste test the wines that we'll be serving at the reception tomorrow? Or do you trust it enough without having to do a taste test?" Jungkook asked curiously as Taehyung shrugged with indifference. "I don't know if we can trust it, but I'm too tired to honestly want to make time for a taste test. If you want to taste it, that's fine. I think I just want to lie down though," Taehyung answered softly, the feeling of fatigue seeping deep into his body. He'd been feeling more and more fatigued and he knew why. He'd been pushing himself with meeting all these appointments while he was still sick. Although now, he was fairly certain he'd recovered from what had been ailing him. Taehyung figured it was just the cold air attributing to his sudden bout of fatigue right now.

Taehyung let out a harsh cough that produced phlem that he couldn't get up far enough to spit out and snuggled closer into Jungkook as Jungkook smiled softly. "Let's get you inside the room. You can go to sleep early for the big day tomorrow and I'll finish up everything else," Jungkook offered softly, laying his head against Taehyung's own. Taehyung nodded meekly as they walked towards the shuttle that would take them to the Inn that was located on the 8,000-acre estate.

Once Jungkook had Taehyung in bed and Taehyung was already fast asleep, he set off to taste test the wines. He had no idea the palate Taehyung had procured over his years of living, but he wanted to at least make sure it was decent before serving it to their attending guests tomorrow. When he arrived back on the grounds where the manor towered over the property, he was directed towards the vineyard in the basement of the Biltmore manor. He already liked the black wrought iron gate with the VB engraved in gold as he stepped through that gate for the testing.

There were already hundreds of people standing around a long wooden bar, drinking the wine as cheerful laughter reached his ears. He smiled to himself as he stepped up to the bar as well, catching the attention of one of the staff behind the bar. "Well, hello there, good lookin'," the female greeted, eyeing Jungkook with a friendly smile. "What can I do for you?" She asked enthusiastically, watching as Jungkook took a seat at the bar. Her eyes bore holes into him as Jungkook shifted uncomfortably under her intensely exploring gaze. "I- I wanted to taste test the wines you serve," Jungkook muttered softly, suddenly feeling timid from her gaze alone. It was almost as if she were staring at prey and Jungkook hated feeling like he was somebody else's conquest. He mostly hated feeling like he was someone to be preyed upon.

She slid him a wine glass across the bar and walked over with several bottles in her hand. "We don't see many guys like you around," she stated, trying to make small talk and flirt. Although, Jungkook felt even more uncomfortable when she spoke to him in this manner. He much preferred her silence. Which was saying something.

She poured Jungkook a full glass of wine as Jungkook stared at her with disdain. "I said I was only testing it, not drowning myself into a drunken stupor," Jungkook retaliated with a huff, picking the wine glass up by the stem. He took a small sip, swishing it around in his mouth to acquire the taste before swallowing it. It was smooth and mellow with earthy hints of fruit and citrus. Jungkook hummed softly in response to the sweet citrus that slowly spread over his tongue before smiling softly. He realized he had no reason to doubt Taehyung's choice in the wine that would be served to their guests as he shook his head and stood to his feet. "You can have the rest of that or dump it, I don't care," Jungkook announced as he stretched his back and turned towards the gate he'd entered through.

"Where are you staying tonight? Maybe we could rendezvous later and have some fun," the woman asserted, trying to keep Jungkook from leaving the bar completely without talking to her more. Jungkook turned his head towards the woman and held up his left hand in an indignant manner, his expression flat and his eyebrows drawn together in aggravation as he opened his mouth to answer her. "Since you haven't noticed, or you just don't seem to care, I'm engaged and I'm getting married tomorrow. I do not need to cheat on my fiancé with someone who would be a complete downgrade," Jungkook retorted with malice, lowering his hand before walking away.

Although it didn't take Jungkook an extended amount of time to return to the hotel room, Taehyung was already passed out to the point that Jungkook couldn't even shake him awake. Taehyung was sleeping so heavily that he didn't even stir when Jungkook opened the door upon his arrival. Jungkook chuckled softly to himself as he approached the bed once more, changing into more relaxing apparel so that he could be comfortable. He pulled the comforter back and leaned over the bed to place a tender kiss on Taehyung's cheek before crawling into bed next to him. Jungkook pulled the blankets over his shoulder and made sure Taehyung was tucked in tight since he'd been coughing quite a bit again. With his eyelids growing heavy from their hectic schedule the past few weeks, Jungkook tightly wrapped his arm around Taehyung's midsection and pulled him in close. He nuzzled his head into the back of Taehyung's shoulder and swiftly drifted off into a deep sleep.
