Jungkook slowly moved his arm away from his eyes, his vision bleary from sleep. He slowly pushed himself up onto his elbows and glanced around the room before pushing himself into an upright position. He stretched his back out, hearing each vertebra in his spinal cord pop. He sighed in relief as he stretched his arms out in front of him, slowly turning to place his feet on the ground.

He stood up, peeking around the curtain to see if he could find the person who had brought him to the nurse's office. He couldn't remember who had done so. "Hello?" he called out, not even seeing the nurse anywhere. He shrugged indifferently as he walked over towards the open door of the office and peeked around the hallway. He still couldn't see anyone and figured everyone must be in class right now.

He sighed heavily as he glanced around the dimly lit hallway before picking a direction and walking that way. He didn't know where he was going, but he hoped he'd find someone to help him navigate this building.

After a long and arduous lecture in Chemistry, Taehyung hastily stood to leave, feeling apprehensive next to his seatmate. He took one step away from the desk when he felt someone grip his elbow tightly, almost as if desperate. Taehyung turned an anxious glance over his shoulder as he stared into the overwhelmingly dark eyes of his seatmate. He swallowed hard before slowly opening his mouth to speak. "Uh- um, c- can I help you?" he stammered out his question, feeling his body temperature rise from the shame of having such an intense gaze focused on him.

The other male smiled at Taehyung, throwing him off guard as Taehyung tilted his head in confusion. Maybe he wasn't as ominous as Taehyung had initially thought. He certainly appeared charming now.

Taehyung slowly turned towards the other as he released Taehyung's elbow once his attention was on him. "I know you've missed a lot of class, Tae. Maybe I can help you catch up," he stated, packing his stuff into the backpack he'd picked up off the dusty ground. Taehyung felt an odd sensation churn in his stomach at his nickname being uttered so loosely by someone he didn't know too well. He shrugged the feeling off, negligibly thinking it must be his own paranoia before flinging a timid glance over his shoulder at Jimin. Although, it appeared as though Jimin wouldn't be of any assistance since he was flirting with his own seatmate.

Taehyung bit into his lower lip, sucking on it as he lost himself in his own thoughts. He hesitantly nodded as he shoved his hands into his pockets. "Sure. I guess I could use the help." The other male smiled even brighter up at Taehyung as he slowly stood to his feet. Taehyung followed him with his eyes, noticing how much taller this male was compared to him. Taehyung stared up at the other in astonishment, because Taehyung wasn't short either. This guy just seemed so much taller as his head towered over the top of Taehyung's head.

Taehyung surveyed the other male's physique, noting his bulging muscles as repulsive. There was a fine line between too much muscle and just enough, and this guy had definitely way too much muscle. Taehyung realized he looked more feminine compared to this male as he took a few hesitant steps back. "I- I guess I never noticed how much taller than me you are," Taehyung stated, trying to laugh off this awkward feeling. Although, it only sounded like a nervous giggle to him as he cleared his throat.

The other only laughed his observation off and hooked his arm around Taehyung's right arm. Taehyung looked up at him as he smiled down at Taehyung, his smile obscuring his true intent. "Shall we get going then?" the other male asked, yanking Taehyung along without a response. Taehyung finally gave a reluctant nod once more, casting another anxious glance over his shoulder towards Jimin as the other male directed him out of the room. He was convinced that Jimin wasn't paying attention to him at all as he was coerced to follow alongside his classmate. Taehyung strained his brain for any conversation starter as they walked in heavy and complete silence.

"So... um, wh- what's your name a- again?" Taehyung finally asked, mentally slapping himself for imploring a question he should already know the answer to. The other male looked down at Taehyung in outright shock before laughing loudly. "Wow, that was a good one," he stated, wiping a nonexistent tear from his eye. "I thought you were serious for a second."

Taehyung looked up at the other as they made their way towards the courtyard to study. "B- but I was serious," Taehyung murmured softly as the other male abruptly pulled his hand out from around Taehyung's arm. He turned towards Taehyung with violent and dark eyes as Taehyung tried to laugh his sudden behavior off as a joke. "What do you mean you were serious?!"

Taehyung promptly jerked his hands from his pockets and raised them in defense as the other male ran an apologetic hand through his hair. "It's Jeremy," he shortly added, trying his hardest not to intimidate Taehyung any further. He adjusted his tone promptly, trying to keep Taehyung at ease. The more at peace Taehyung felt around him, the more opportunities he would have to spend time with Taehyung.

Jeremy laughed nervously as he fully grabbed Taehyung's hand and held it in both of his. "I'm sorry about that," he started off, taking one hand to scratch the back of his head before clasping Taehyung's hand with both of his once more. "I was just positively taken aback by your response. We should get going to my dorm room though," he proclaimed, abruptly altering their study location on Taehyung. Taehyung peeked around anxiously before nodding with reluctance as Jeremy squeezed his hand around Taehyung's and steered him off towards his dorm room now.

Jimin finally ceased talking to his seatmate after defining plans to meet up with her in front of his dorm room later. He stretched his back and glanced around the classroom for Taehyung, but didn't notice him anywhere. He glimpsed back towards his seatmate, who was just now standing up as well before she inclined her head in confusion. "Jimin? What's wrong?" she asked, peeking around behind her. Jimin shook his head as he walked towards the door to peek around before turning back towards her. "Rosé, have you seen Taehyung anywhere?"

Rosé shook her head and rolled her eyes at Jimin's inquiry. "Wow, Jimin. It's almost like you love the guy. I mean, you're always with him, might as well be dating him," she remarked before huffing in irritation and walking towards the door. "He left with his creepy seat partner, Jeremy. You know he's obsessed with Taehyung, right? Always asking why he's not in class but never where he's ditching, as if he already knows or something," she reported in a tone of disdain. She grasped the strap of her backpack as she walked down the hallway.

Jimin hastily sprinted towards the door, calling after Rosé with a concerned look. "Wait! Are you serious?" Jimin asked with pure skepticism as Rosé halted in her tracks. She turned towards Jimin with a shrug before opening her mouth to speak. "I find it creepy. 'Cause I always feel like Jeremy's staring at Taehyung as if he were his next meal and he's been starved for months. Only when Taehyung's around, that is."

Jimin smacked his palm against his forehead as he promptly slung his backpack over his shoulder. "Where'd they go? Can you direct me to his dorm room if I need to go there?" Rosé shrugged once more with indifference as she sighed heavily and turned back towards Jimin, walking briskly. "If you really need me to take you to his room, I know where it is. Come on," she asserted, pulling Jimin along by the sleeve of his long-sleeved shirt.

Jimin immediately followed after Rosé as they turned a sharp corner and ran straight into a wandering and lost Jungkook. Jimin promptly seized Jungkook by his shoulders, thankful to honestly see him. "I know how I responded the last time we saw each other, but I could positively use your help," he claimed recklessly, Rosé watching as she eyed Jungkook up and down. She'd not encountered the new student yet as she peered over at Jimin. "Do we really have time to ask him to tag along? We're kind of in a rush if Jeremy has Taehyung with him," she declared as Jungkook's ears unknowingly perked up.

Before Jimin could retort about being more polite in the circumstance, Jungkook nodded in approval. "I'll help," he professed as he followed alongside them. It would help him find his way around this foreign facility once more and maybe he could skip his next class with Taehyung if he were up for it.

Taehyung settled down with his legs tucked under him next to Jeremy around the small table in the middle of his room. Taehyung registered that Jeremy didn't have a roommate yet and cautiously tried to put some distance between the two of them. "Why don't you have a roommate yet?" Taehyung inquired with genuine curiosity, opening his backpack. He was honestly just inquisitive as to why Jeremy would be the only person without a roommate.

Jeremy shrugged nonchalantly as he leaned back on his hands. "Most people don't find me as appealing or as approachable as you are, Tae," he confided softly, gradually standing to his feet. "You want any hot tea?"

Taehyung nodded softly as he stared up at Jeremy with large eyes. "I promise I'm not always that approachable. I'm paranoid as fuck about everyone," he confessed, brushing his hand over his notebook to clear any dust off of it. The poor thing hadn't been used since he'd bought it before being taken to this facility.

"I know," Jeremy acknowledged, turning back toward Taehyung with two small cups of piping hot tea. Taehyung could see the steam flowing off of the cups as he inclined his head. "You know? H- How?" Taehyung asked cautiously as they heard a soft knock on the door. Jeremy handed Taehyung the cup in his left hand before walking over towards the door as Taehyung turned to see who was at the door.

He took a small sip of the tea before glimpsing back and noticing who it was at the door. He smiled radiantly up at Jimin, Jungkook and Jimin's seat partner, which he still didn't know her name. "Minnie! Kookie? What are you guys doing here?" he asked excitedly, standing to greet them. Jimin sighed with relief when he saw that everything was okay before positioning his hands on his hips. "Warn a guy before you just up and disappear like that. I thought you were in trouble or something," he whispered heatedly as he peeked around the room.

Taehyung chuckled softly as he strolled back over towards the table to grab his tea once more. "Jeremy here was going to allow me to copy his notes from the previous lessons I'd missed. You guys should join us! Er, if that's okay with you, Jeremy?" Taehyung asked softly, skeptical about being alone with this guy any longer.

Jeremy didn't hear anything Taehyung had previously mentioned. He was far too busy glaring at Jungkook as they stood in the open doorway, chatting with Taehyung. Jungkook turned his scrutiny towards Jeremy with an indignant glare. "You got a problem with me?" Jungkook asked, already irate as Taehyung's eyes darted between the two of them. It appeared that they were not going to get along as Taehyung giggled apprehensively. "Hey, Jungkook. Let's not assault my seat partner in my Chemistry class. He is attempting to help me," Taehyung assured promptly, trying to push Jungkook away from Jeremy.

Jungkook took numerous steps back at Taehyung's request as he noticed Jeremy still glaring at him. He took various deep breaths as he strived to calm himself from punching Jeremy's arrogant face. Taehyung gently coaxed Jungkook back out of the room and smiled apologetically up at Jeremy. "I really should take him back to his room. He's a little worked up," Taehyung claimed softly, struggling to lighten the predicament.

"Thank you for trying though. Maybe next time we can actually get some studying done," Taehyung added softly, handing Jeremy his teacup back. Jeremy watched as Taehyung grabbed Jungkook's hand and turned him towards the hallway to leave. Something inside of Jeremy snapped as he enclosed his exceptionally burly arms around Taehyung's narrow waist and snatched him away from his friends. Before any of them could react, he'd whipped Taehyung back into his room, hurled him to the floor and slammed the door in their faces, locking it and shoving his dresser in front of it as a barricade. "Now, they can't distract us," he declared, staring Taehyung down as he walked up to him. Taehyung deliberately stood to his feet as he stared up at Jeremy with a wary expression. "W- was that really necessary?" he asked as Jeremy slapped him across the face hard, sending Taehyung reeling.

Taehyung cupped his cheek as he peered back at Jeremy's dark and sinister eyes boring holes into him. "Sit," he commanded promptly and Taehyung did just that.
