Ichiro [POV]

Emi and Mika came home a few minutes later.  Emi unlocked the first lock and tried the door.

"Ugh" she muttered before pulling out her second key unlocking the second lock and opening the door

"Ichi what are you talking about a cat?" She announces as she stepped inside

"There's....., there's a cat" I mumbled she must have thought I was upstairs and was surprised seeing me on the floor by the dining table.

"Where on earth did it come from?" Mika exclaimed seeing the small cat curled up against my leg

"The box" I pointed to the box on the table

"Where did the box come from?" Midoriya asked

"I don't know there was a man- oh hi Midoriya -but there was this man who knocked at the door for a while and when I went upstairs he looked like a mailman and the cat was in the box" I explained

"Maybe it was a prank or something?" He suggested

"Why are you on the floor Ichi?" Emi asked raising one eyebrow

"It was hissing at me and I passed out when I woke up it was next to me on the floor" I explained

"Why'd you pass out?" Mika asked

"Because it was scaring me" I told her

"It's a cat" she rolled her eyes

"I've never dealt with animals before I don't know how to treat them and it was scaring me" I exclaimed

"We should take the cat to the shelter or something mom would not want it here she would kill the poor thing" Emi sighed

"What about Aizawa I bet you he would take it" Midoriya suggested

"Tomorrow we can try to give it to him Ichi you think you can keep it hidden from Mom until tomorrow?" Mika asked

"Yeah" I nodded picking up the small cat.  It stirred from its sleep and meowed in protest as I picked it up

"Where are you going to put it?" Midoriya asked.  The little cat was so small I could put it in my pocket. 

"Um I can put it back in the box for now and just hide it until mom comes to bed" I mumbled unsure

"As long as Mom doesn't find out and you don't kill it that should work" Mika insisted nodding her head

"I'm not good with animals" I insisted

"he seems to like you" Emi laughed as the small cat licked my hand settling into my arms

"Though you don't have any experience with animals do you Ichi?" Mika observed 

"You guys were always the ones who dealt with them" I looked down at the cat

"Shouldn't we try to figure out who put the cat at the door at least?" Midoriya asked

"I've got no clue" I shook my head

"Is there a return address on the box?" He asked I raised one eyebrow standing up with the cat in my arms checking the box looking on each side.  When I turned it over a small collar fell out with a silver circular tag that read 'fennix'.  I put the cat down on the table clipping the collar around it's neck it fit perfectly.  I guess that was his name.

"There's a collar but no return address and nothing on the tag but his name" I responded

"What does it say?" Emi asked

"Fennix?" I explained

"That's a cute name" Mika cooed

"What do cats eat?" I asked and after around fifteen minutes of discussing things we decided on what to give the little cat and it ate up the small scraps of meat hungrily.  We all froze when the front door opened and dad came inside.

"Hey kids what're you guys doing?" He asked taking his shoes off at the doors

"Uhm nothing, nothing at all" I explained

"That sounds suspicious what do you guys got?" Dad came over looking over my shoulder "Wait where did the cat come from?"

"We don't know" Emi jumped in 

"Don't tell mom" Mika exclaimed Dad laughed 

"Why would I tell your mother I love cats" He reached over picking up Fennix "Where are you going to keep him?"

"Well we're going to see tomorrow if our teacher wants him because someone just dropped him off at the front step" I explained nervously

"Well that's a shame he's quite cute" Dad shook his head handing Fennix back to me

"Well I'll be upstairs I'd hide him quickly your mother is coming home in a few minutes" Dad instructed

"Right" I nodded

"Lets get rid of the evidence" Emi exclaimed handing me the box "Ichi you take care of the cat we'll take care of things downstairs" She insisted

"Are you sure?" I asked

"Yes make sure that mom wont be able to find it and that the cat's comfortable" she pushed me towards the stairs

"O-Okay" I stammered going back up to my room.  I put the cat on my bed and put a small pillow inside the box

"can you stay in here just for tonight?" I asked the small cat he blinked slowly and to me it kind of looked like he nodded I put him gently on the pillow closing the box back up.  I pushed the box under the bed carefully making sure not to cover up the air holes.

"Ichiro I'm gonna go my mom will get worried by now" Midoriya called from downstairs.  I came out to the top of the stairs

"Bye see you tomorrow" I called to him

"Yeah see you tomorrow" he responded

"Good timing too mom's home get in bed" Emi exclaimed running up the stairs with Mika following behind her.  I nodded going back into my room shutting the door and turning off the light tugging my shirt off and throwing it onto the floor and sliding into bed.  The cat meowed softly

"Shh" I whispered turning over to my side shutting my eyes tightly as I heard the front door open and close and footsteps up the stairs.  I actually fell asleep which was surprising.

(A.N. so the name of the cat came from a Assassination Classroom fan fiction that I wrote it was the name of a fox that I created if anyone is interested in that let me know (comment or something IDK) and I could post it I think that one is completed but I'm not too sure but I do know that it makes no sense what so ever but again if anyone is interested but I might post it because assassination classroom is defiantly one of my top three anime's after Tokyo ghoul (Excluding the third season) and My hero Academia so yeah a bit of unwanted anime recommendations right there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
