Ichiro [POV]

I woke up in the morning to the small cat which I named Fennix pawing at my face

"How did you get out of your box?" I asked noticing the box had been scooted out from under the bed and had been tipped over

"Did you do that yourself?" I asked picking him up looking at the clock.  It was about the time when I got up anyways so I got dressed putting Fennix into my jacket pocket his head sticking out.  He meowed at me as I walked downstairs

"You really put him in your pocket?" Mika asked

"He got out of his box somehow" I insisted sitting down at the counter

"He just loves you so much" She laughed

"I don't think so" I shook my head

"Ichi you're actually up before I woke you congrats" Emi joked coming downstairs

"Fennix woke me up" I responded with a yawn

*Time skip: Walk to school*

Fennix meowed at Emi as we walked down the sidewalk

"What do you need little fella?" she asked looking down at him.  He meowed again at her.

"I see" She nodded before turning to me "he said you're a huge baby"

"You're an idiot" I shook my head looking straight ahead Fennix pawed at my hand by my side.  When we got to the school he had grabbed my finger and was nibbling on it.  Mika went to her class and me and Emi went to class 1-A.  Thankfully Aizawa was in the room

"Emiko Ichiro good morning early as usual I see" He responded not looking up from his papers

"U-Uhm Aizawa" I mumbled going up to the stand

"What is it?" He asked looking up

"Do you like cats?" I asked nervously he raised one eyebrow probably confused by the question or maybe he was just judging me.  I wasn't very good at reading people's emotions

"Yes actually why?" he asked

"W-Well yesterday actually we found a cat a-and I know our mom would hate him and M-Midoriya said you liked cats so we wanted to know if you'd like him?" I offered

"And Midoriya said I would want the cat?" he asked

"Y-Yes" I mumbled

"Well I apologize but-" he paused for a second I figured he was going to deny, I expected this "But actually Principle Nezu said that I was not permitted to have any more cats" He laughed a bit as he said that

"O-Oh sorry" I muttered

"But I can give it to present Mic I'm sure he'd love it" he smiled gently at me

"R-Really?" I asked a small smile forming on my lips

"I've forced him to take other cats before I'm sure he wouldn't care by now" He insisted 

"Thank you" I pulled Fennix out of my pocket

"Oh wow he's a small one" Aizawa gasped gently taking the cat from me as I held it out to him

"I know it would have been better to try to find his owner but we couldn't keep him at our house mom would kill us" I explained

"I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate it" he set Fennix down on the stand for now he meowed starting to chew on a pencil that was laying on the podium.  I nodded going to my seat my heart pounding in my chest.

"Good job Ichi" Emi whispered I smiled weakly at her

"Mhm" I hummed

(A.N. sorry another short chapter but these last few were kind of just fillers because I've got an idea but I just don't know how to get to that Idea and I'm trying to take the shortest route as possible to get there quickly before I forget but I'm kind of testing my limits because it's been like five days since I thought of the idea)
