INDIANA, HAWKINS. HOME.

I went home after what happened at school, I couldn't put up with its bullshit and dealing with fake friends also almost burning the school.

I was lying in my bedroom, my dad asked why I was back. I told him that I shouldn't go to school cause of my behaviour. my dad knows something's up with me, anger issues or something so when I come home telling him that it was because of my behaviour he keeps me home.

I was just lying on my bed reading a book, over the covers shivering. I didn't care if I was cold, I just felt so regretful of today and don't want to set anything off.

"y/n! wills here!" my dad yelled from downstairs. I heard footsteps run upstairs and open my door I looked and saw will peek his head through.

"you okay there?" he asked I looked away and continued to read my book. he walked inside closing the door and sat on a chair my dad recently got for my bare room.

"please just don't talk about today, I'm already regretting it," I told him and he sighed.

"okay," he replied, holding his hands in his pockets. "um I have an idea for you," he told me. I put my book down a little.

"what?" I asked, he pulled out a small candle from his pocket and grinned.

"let me help you get used to your powers," he grinned, I turned away from him.

"no will, I don't want to," I told him, curling up in a ball, putting the book away.

he got off the chair and walked over to me, looked towards my hands.

"Do you want a hug?" he asked softly, I sat up and reached closer to him, hugging him tightly, he hugged back.

"I'm so sorry will, I saw what happened in the kitchen and I quickly realised it could've been mike that was set on fire," my voice cracked I was on the verge of tears.

"y/n, don't cry, mike did this to you and he's a massive douche for it, I'll have to sort something out," he told me, I felt the tears fall from my eyes and will rub my back with comfort. he looked at the wall and checked the time. knowing it's late enough for me to fall asleep.

"here lay down and rest," he suggested, moving up on the bed and i laid down on top of his chest. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
