INDIANA, HAWKINS. HAWKINS MIDDLE SCHOOL.

"is there anybody you know that go to this school?" max asked, leaning into her skateboard, no joke, she looked badass.

"oh-uh, yeah, a boy named will byers, you heard of him?" I told her and she grinned.

"oh yeah, he's quite well known around the school," max told me, standing up from her skateboard.

"what, is he popular?" I asked, what, I've been hanging out with a popular dude?

"sort of, he's known as a great guy around the school," she told me. I nodded smiling.

"that's good to hear I guess," I said ad she nodded.

"I guess, I'll see you round, y/n," max told me as she skated someplace else.

well done dipshit you didn't even ask directions around the school.

"y/n?" I heard someone familar say I turn around again and see will. Finally!

"will!" I yell, we quickly collide in a hug and pull away.

"you didn't tell me you'd be starting school today!" He said excitedly.

"neither did I but my dad said I was joining today!" we laughed but that was when somebody interrupted with a cough, we looked into the direction.

"oh shoot I forgot," will said. moving away from me to his group of friends. "guys this is y/n, she's my moms best friends daughter," will introduced me, I smiled and waved as they looked at me strangely. "and I've already sort of introduced the guys to you," he laughed, I giggled slightly and frowned a little.

"hey, um will, when did you meet y/n?" I think lucas said.

"uh, yesterday, we're gonna watch the poltergeist at mine today," will said excitedly.

"will, how could you forget, today we were going to the arcade," if I remembered well, I think dustin said. will face palmed and I just stood up a little.

"oh shit I'm sorry, I didn't mean to screw up your plans," I told the putting up my hands like I surrendered.

"uh do you want to do it tomorrow instead?" will suggested to me. I blinked and smiled.

"okay sure," I agreed and we looked back to the boys.

"uh, will, can we talk really quick?" mike asked, I looked to will and he looked to me, I gave him a smiled and he wondered of to mike.

"hi," I greeted to the two boys, they gave a small wave. whilst mike and will talked.

"guessing you're new?" dustin asked, lucas looked at him like a retard.

"uh, yeah, I moved here yesterday," I told them and they nodded.

"do you have a bike?" lucas asked, I shook my head.

"do you know how to ride one?" dustin asked and I nodded my head.

"I had a bike in my old city," I told them and they nodded.

"why didn't you bring it? lucas asked.

"cause it didn't fit in the car," I told them briefly to which they just nodded. will and mike eventually stopped chatting and the bell went.

"what's on your timetable?" will asked. I unfolded the timetable I had and checked it. "Hey that the same teacher as mine, art!" will cheered and led the way to art.
