INDIANA, HAWKINS.    HAWKINS MIDDLE SCHOOL.

my dad drove me to school and jennifer was in the car too. when they pulled up I could see the party already heading inside, including will. I was way excited than I was earlier today, I was dreading it this morning.

"have a good time," my dad told me as I left the car.

"go get him!" I heard jennifer say and I laughed a little walking up to the entrance of the school, letting out a sigh. I headed inside of the registration only a few kids were there and some teachers. I walked up to a station and got myself registered. they let me inside and I looked around, listening the the blaring music.

some kids turned and mouths hung, but quickly turned when I made eye contact with them. I walked in more and tried looking for the party, when I saw will standing up, staring at me, I look at his outfit, a small suit with a stripey tie.

I smiled and walked over to the group and sat down the party bored already.

"I don't know why I decided to come after the snowball, fuck me that was boring," dustin said he wore a navy blue suit with a bow and his hair wasn't touched.

"well at least your hair isn't a mess," max said, wearing a flowy dress that covered her chest and was short sleeved.

"it was nice," dustin argued, lucas and mike scoffed.

"whatever you say," She said, laughing. lucas wore a suit too and mike wore one too. el was also at the table wearing a pink dress and she had a black corset belt on.

"no fucking way! I love this song!" I announced as they started blaring when doves cry by prince.

"oh my god me too!" max announced and we got up, walking off into the crowd and screaming the lyrics, dancing around, well this reminds me of a time.

after that song was blaring and came to an end the dj played this charming man by the smiths, me and max regonised it instantly and began singing it and dancing. that song came and went so we decided to sit down waiting for another decent song to turn on since the dj played some slow song for kids to slow dance to.

I knew this should be my moment but I'll let it slid real quick. mike and el went up, lucas and max did too, leaving me, dustin and will at the table by ourselves.

"I'm gonna try found someone to dance with," dustin told us and stood up, searching the crowd.

I watched as he walked away and just knew I'm gonna need to do it. I turned to look at will and smiled.

"do you want to dance?" I asked and he nodded smiling, I stood up, letting out my hand and he took it, we wondered of into the swarm of children.

we stood in a spot and stood still, I snaked my arms around his neck and he copied but around my waist, I smiled as we danced smoothly through the song.

"um, I've been meaning to tell you something," I blurted out.

"well, what is it?" he asked and I inhaled deeply.

"you might not say yes but my dad..." I paused to look up at him, his eyebrows raised a little. "he approves with it, so what I want to ask you, is..." I paused and he smiled.

"yes!" he said and pulled me in for a hug, I hugged back and we dance like that for a while. he pulled away and leant in for a kiss, I was shocked at first but let it happen, kissing him back and pulled away hugging him.

"I love you will," I whispered in his ear.

"I love you too, y/n," he whispered as the song continued to play.
