SIXTY-ONE
INDIANA, HAWKINS. QUARRY
i seriously can't bare it. me and will were tied into one, we were inseperatble.
yes, were, i hated that word and so did he.
i spent my whole time at school chocking tears to the back of my throat as she continued to admire his features.
I wanted to cry and fall into his arms. say sorry and hug until forever, never letting go an just getting to have our lips meet again.
it was all i wanted.
i picked up a pebble, standing up as I wiped my wet left cheek, skimming it across the lake. it bounced over the surface before blob bing into the water.
all i desired.
I could feel the tears well up again and fell down my cheeks. I picked up another pebble ready to chuck it but my limbs felt weak and i lost it. I broke down crying, tears falling off my chin as i dropped to the gravel sobbing.
my will.
"arg-AHHHHHHHHHH," i screamed, birds echoing their screeches as they flew away from the scene. my fist clenched as i hit they against the ground fire blooming from the spots. I continued punching ignore the pain as my cries grew loud and someone stopped me, grabbing my arm.
"what are you doing?" el said before stomping on the grass in the small patches. once the fires were blown out she pulled me in for a hug, realising how badly i was hurting.
i rested on Janes collarbones as she held my head, embracing me in a nice heart warming hug to at least cheer myself up.
footsteps crawled over to me as i criedinto els arms.
"y/n?" a male spoke, an adult make, i looked up, narrowing to see who it really was.
My dad.
why him. where did he even come from? why does he always pop up at the wrong time? why can't he just leave me alone for gods sake!
"get away from me," i said, crawling out of els arms and stumble backwards.
"what happened, what's wrong?" he asked. I felt the tears warm up in my water line again.
a patch of fire flared against his foot which made him flinch back.
"y/n," els voice mumbled in my ears.
another patch of fire that burned up against his other foot. another one. and another.
my anger grew so much she lifted my hand and a ball of fire burned and flickered, hovering over my palm.
"y/n!" a woman voice yelled, it wasn't Jennifer's.
mommy, standing next to daddy as he stood in the ring of fire whilst el tried putting it out.
"you throw that him and I will not be happy young girl," her mother told me threw her teeth. I inhaled sharply and pulled my fingers in a fist, the fire disappearing.
I watched as the fire was eventually put out and the two people watch me in disbelief.
so i took off and ran.
