INDIANA, HAWKINS.

a nice fresh start. me and my dad were on our way. we didn't have any moving vans or anything. just the car, a butt load of money and an already furnished home to live in.

we drove along the road, cool breeze gushing through the rolled down windows.

"you excited y/n?" My dad asked me, I looked over to him, he wore a loose grey shirt and jeans and smiled.

"very," I told him and looked outside to the autumn trees. there was kids outside hanging with their friends in the park. I pressed my hands against the rolled down windows and looked outside to boys riding bikes along the road. can't wait to make some friends here.

we went around a corner and my dad parked in a spot.

"here we are," he said, looking towards the house on our right. It was a small house with two floors, with white walls and wooden patches on the front door and roof. "C'mon, let's get inside," he said an unbuckled his seat, I copied, jumping out of the car, closing it behind me whilst my dad locked it.

he wrapped his arm around my shoulders as we walked to out new home, we paused at the front door and he gave me the keys.

"how bout you open it?" he suggested, I grinned, inserting the key into its keyhole, twisted it and carefully opened the door looking inside.

immediately you're in a hallway, to your left you have the large living room, to the right is a bedroom, infront was a staircase that leaded to an attic but my dad allowed me to have that as my room. behind the staircase was the kitchen (the kitchen and living room was connected), then underneath the staircase and behind the bedroom is a bathroom.

"head upstairs and look at your new room," he told me, I nodded and ran upstairs, opening the door. I peeked inside and saw the double bed with a wooden structure. the roof slanted in with a window above the bed. to the left of the bed was a closet and the right was a small bathroom all to myself.

"yes!" i cheered to myself after seeing I had my own bathroom. there was other things in here like a bookself for me to fill, a random painting and a mirror which I checked my outfit that was a leather jacket, grey shirt and tight bright blue jeans with a belt. I looked inside of the closet and saw there was no clothes inside.

"hey, y/n, wanna go shopping?" dad yelled from downstairs. I ran down excited, he saw me and grinned. we walked outside and got in the car, remembering to lock the door behind us and headed off to town.
