INDIANA, HAWKINS.     BYERS RESIDENCE.

I woke up with will in my arms and him softly stroking my hair.

"morning," he told me smiling, I smiled and hugged him tightly.

"morning, what's the time?" I asked, he continued to stroke my hair.

"10:40," he replied and stopped stroking my hair to get up. "the party asked if we all wanted to go to the arcade, I told them we will," he said and helped me out of bed. "my moms made us some cereal, before we head out," he told me , I got up and linked our arms walking out of his bedroom, I caught a glimpse of joyce walking past, I stood back, hyperventilating.

"y/n, what's wrong?" he asked me, I sat down, clutching onto my chest. "are you choking?" he asked.

"your mom, she wearing the same j-jumper as my mom w-when she d-died," I spat out holding my over my face as I cried. he reached over and hugged me tightly. "I thought it was her," I cried again.

"it's okay y/n, it's okay," he cooed, stroking my hair again. "it's alright," he reassured me, rocking me slightly.

I eventually calmed down and wiped my eyes. he kissed my cheek and took my hands helping me up and walked out of his bedroom.

we sat down at the kitchen table with cereal layed out already, including some water.

"hey guys," joyce said, she still didn't know about my mom. she walked over to get her coat. "I'm off to work, Johnathans home all day so don't worry if you can't get in," she told us and left.

"your finished already?" I asked, will putting his bowl away, and drinking his orange juice.

"I had to wait til you woke up to eat, I was hungry," he said an washed out his glass.

"why didnt you just go and ate?" I asked, putting a spoonful of frosties flakes in my mouth.

"I dunno, wanted to wait for you I guess," he told me, I munched down my cereal and washed it away too including my drink after chugging it down.

"let's get dressed and meet the party," I said and walked back to the bedroom to change.
