INDIANA, HAWKINS. HAWKINS MIDDLE SCHOOL.

"hey y/n," max said at the end of the lesson, I looked over whilst packing my things.

"yeah," i said and she put her bag on grabbing her skateboard.

"tell him you like him, yeah?" she told me and laughed as she walked away.

"max!" I yelled and laughed when I put on my bag. I walked down to wills spot as he was still packing up seeing mike walk away frustrated.

"what's wrong?" he asked, I gave him a nod towards mike, he saw him leave and turned back to me.

"hey I know you told me, don't worry though," he tried to comfort me but I still had that anxiety when walking around mike, he's almost intimidating.
"you ready to stay tonight?" he asked excited whilst lucas left and dustin still packed up.

"yeah I am," I told him as I left the classroom, quickly being pushed back from someone.

"go walk out to the car park will, I just want to talk," mike said will nodded and walked around the corner but I watched as he stayed their. "listen," mike started, letting go of my jacket. "this group has some rules y/n, which i don't think you really understand." He told me.

"what are they, you never told me them," I snapped back he was quick on his feet, and aimed back.

"there are some things you don't know about the people in this group and I suggest you watch you step because you'll be kicked out easily," he told me and walked off, I saw will slightly hiding behind kids and walked up to me.

"what did he say?" he asked holding into his backpack strap, looking off to an angry mike then to me.

"nothing, I'll tell you when we get to yours," I said and we walked off to to the car park, we had this new thing were we linked arms around the school 'cause I still didn't know my way. I enjoyed doing this but mikes worried for his friend. I would too I could somehow set him on fire but I don't think i could do that to will. He's too pure.

"let get going then," he said as we linked arms and left the building, seeing joyce next her car waving to us.
