3rd Person Pov

Today was the day everyone in the orphanage would get to meet the royal family. Everyone was so excited to meet the queen of Arendelle. All of the children really wanted to meet Queen Elsa because of her ice magic.

Who wouldn't be?

Lana had gathered up all of the children and line them all up in one room. After checking to see that everyone was here she then started speaking.

Lana: "Alright children, listen up everyone! Today our beloved Queen will be visiting us today."

All the children got excited.

Lana: "But there will be some rules."

All the children nod.

Lana: "Please be respectful and polite when they arrive."

Everyone: "Yes Ms Lana."

Lana: "And be on your best behavior and let's all be nice to our queen and the princess."

All the children nod their heads. After that all of the children left the room. Lana hopes that all goes well for today.

Lana: "This is going to be an interesting day."

Elsa's POV

Today was the day. It's the day where me and my sister I'm going to the orphanage. I just wore my blue sparkle ice dress for this small occasion.

A knock echoed through out her room. Anna stood by her door, looking awfully smug by the looks of her face. A wide smirk on her face with her arms folded against her chest. She wore a simple green dress to match with Summer.

Anna: "Are you ready?"

Not really after what happened the other night. But I manage to push back the dark thoughts and warm up the courage to go.

Elsa: "Yes, let's get going."

She was very excited, but I knew why she was so excited. Today we were both are paying a small visit to the orphanage in our town like we had planned.

We talked about it the other day and I had a little meltdown about it. Luckily, I was able to forget about those dark thoughts and forget about it.

Getting up and follow my sister down the stairs in flash. When we reached outside, in the foyer, a group of four guards were waiting. Kristoff would not be joining us because of his royal ice business.

We began to walk outside into today's sunny weather of summer. Since the orphanage isn't far away, we decided to just walk instead.

As we were walking, Anna who didn't look completely bothered by the heat, but I most certainly was. I felt like I was dying under the hot sun. I rather prefer the nice cold breeze of winter, rather than catching a heat stroke.

I'm not much of a heat person like my sister is. She was a lot more into the heat than I ever will be.

After 5 minutes of walking, we stopped at a brick building, the windows of three floors tainted, not a single speck of happiness anywhere on the design.

Before I could knock, the door swung open, a young middle-aged woman with dark brown hair, hazel brown eyes, and with a smile and curtsey.

???: "Welcome your majesty, your highness."

She was so welcoming as her eyes flickered between me and Anna.

Elsa: "It's nice to meet you, you must be Lana, I presume?"

Lana: "Yes, it's an honor to have you here."

Elsa: "The honor is all ours."

Lana: "Please do come in."

She moved to the side as the guards went in first. I looped my arm around my sisters and walked inside the place. The smell of fresh hazelnuts was welcoming.

The inside felt more joy than it was on outside. The walls were painted of different colors of green, red, blue, and brown. There are books stuck on bookshelves, crayons on little tables, and papers with drawings as well. There were a lot of children, call and small, who were playing with each other with toys on the floor. When we were fully in view, all of them rose up.

The children bowed respectfully to graze both me and Anna.

Anna: "Very polite children."

Lana: "Well, they know how to address royalty your highness, and they're very well behaved."

Lana then clap her hands and more children entered the room. After 20 to 30 children enter the room all of their attention was on Lana.

Lana: "Listen up everyone, our queen and princess has just arrived."

After she announced our presence all children gasp at our appearance.

Lana: "Now, tree the queen and the princess with respect, got it?"

Everyone: "Yes Ms Lana."

The woman then turn back to us.

Lana: "Now I'll be in my office if you need me."

After that she walk to her office and close the door. After the door was closed the children started throwing questions mainly at me. A few children asked us to play with them. Anna by the looks of it she didn't mind at all.

After answering a few simple questions, I was now coloring with the children. As I colored with the children, I noticed one little boy in the corner reading a book. Every time I look up he quickly turns away. Was he waiting to play with us?

For a second, his eyes met with me, and chill ran through me. I got up while ignoring some of the children who asked what I was doing and got Anna to follow me over.

As we were walking over the boy stopped reading his book and nervously looked at us.

???: "H-Hello."

His nervous reaction was the cutest thing I ever seen. I smiled before nudging Anna, knowing that she was good with children, since she is the most warmest person ever.

Anna came forward to the boy, sitting next to him.

Elsa: "What's your name little one?"

???: "Y-Y/n."

Elsa: "That's a nice name."

Anna: "Why are you sitting by yourself?"

Elsa: "Why aren't you playing with any of the other children?"

He takes a moment before speaking.

Y/n: "I-I was just waiting."

Anna: "But why aren't you playing with the other children?"

Y/n: "Because they were all playing with you, your majesty."

He was so polite, so that was why he wasn't playing with the others, he was just being respectful.

Anna: "That's nice of you."

Me and Anna shared a glance. Anna grew smirk, before I could ask, she started poking the boy's belly. She began to tickle him, and he burst into laughter. I wanted to join in, but I thought past through my mind, preventing me from joining them.

Elsa: "Anna stay with him please, I'll be right back."

Third Person POV

Elsa walk towards Lana's office, she knocked on it a few times, Lana quickly answered, and was shocked to see the queen.

Lana: "May I help you, your majesty?"

The queen enters the office while Lana closes the door behind her.

Elsa: "Yes."

Taking a seat on the edge of a wooden chair in front of Lana's desk.

Lana: "What can I help you with?"

The woman walks behind her desk and sits in her chair in front of her queen. She pulled her a glass of tea which Elsa kindly accepted it.

She pushed back the thoughts about the decision she was about to make. She took a deep breath, then exhaled.

Elsa: "I would like to adopt Y/n."
