Chapter 5: Little Do You Know
Little do you know how I'm breaking while you fall asleep, little do you know I'm still haunted by the memories.
How'd ya get those bruises?" I froze. I wished I could be 6 feet under ground right then and there. I couldn't just say I tripped and fell...the marks were too obvious. I had to make them think I was hard and tough...like Dallas. "Got into a fight..." I said trailing off. The 6 boys (Darry was in the kitchen still) exchanged a look like, heck no. "Yeah, okay don't tell us." Steve said rolling his eyes. I took a step closer to him, "You looking for a fight?" I asked. Steve chuckled, "So what if I am?" I did a right hook punch to his jaw, causing him to fall backwards and trip over the coffee table.
Soda looked at me wide eyed, I shrugged it off.
"Well I stand corrected." Steve said rubbing his mouth softly. I could see the look in his eyes, he was going to retaliate. I started to step backwards towards the door, then bolted. I couldn't get hurt just after I got my strength back. I heard shouts in the distance asking me where I was going..I ignored them. I ran for what felt like forever, till my legs felt like they would fall off. Before I could even register what was happening I was roughly slammed against the side of a barb wire fence. "Miss me sweetie?" A husky voice whispered in my ear.
Rough lips were pressed to mine, forcefully and were sure to leave a bruise. My back got goosebumps as the hard cold bricks indented my spine. The boy kicked my stomach causing me to fall to the ground in a heap. A searing pain coursed through my body as the cold metal of a blade sliced my stomach and thigh. I blinked, as the world around me became blurry and a rich burgundy red surrounded my body. The moonlight cast over my captors face and I stuttered one word before everything went dark, "Randy,"
