Thankfully the drive back isn't that bad.  We make it most of the way back to Westerville before the guys start to get antsy again.  Seems that packing the snacks was a good idea. For a while some of them fell asleep.

I notice Jeff leaning on Nick's shoulder, both passed out. So I take the time to softly talk to Thad and Sebastian.  "Now I understand why you thought 'Niff' happened.  I mean I'm happy for Quinn and Cara but those two would make an absolutely adorable couple."  Thad laughs softly and edges forward some so that his head is closer to the middle, although he's not disturbing Jeff who is leaning heavily on Nick, the two boys cuddling up to each other.  Thad motions towards the boys next to him, "They get like this when they're tired, drunk or just being weird.  I'm still waiting for them to admit hidden feelings one day.  I mean, things can change, look at Sebastian."

Sebastian squeezes my hand and I sneak a quick glance at him, wrinkling up my nose. "What about me Harwood?"  Thad laughs and pushes his shoulder causing my arm to jostle some as well since Sebastian still has a firm yet gentle grasp on my hand.  I huff out a soft warning, "Watch it Thad.  I'm driving and he's holding my hand hostage." I lift my hand slightly to show that Sebastian's fingers are intertwined with my own.

"Oops. Sorry about that. Anyway you know what I mean Bas. Not even two months ago you were a playboy and generally a Grade-A Ass most of the time. I mean I'm your friend, but you were kind of a manwhore."  I giggle at that and raise an eyebrow slightly teasing him with my response. "So Sebby, you had a bad reputation, did you?"

He starts nervously playing with my fingers, lacing and unlacing his with mine.  "Umm... umm... maybe..."  Thad is laughing hysterically at Sebastian's reaction.  "Why do you think we were all so surprised when Blaine introduced you that first day at Dalton?  Shann, you are this beautiful girl with an infectious smile and angelic voice. And in swooped Sebastian, a seemingly malicious Casanova we didn't even think was that into girls, stealing you away before we got the chance to even realize what was going on."

I blush slightly at Thad's words. "Does everyone really think that?  Is that why Hunter freaked out?"  Sebastian finally lets go of my hand and runs his fingers gently up and down my arm, his voice taking on a soft, sweet tone.  "Princess, you know that you're beautiful.  I just love you so much.... But yeah, trust me I was cold and heartless for a long time.  Because if you act like you don't care no one can really hurt you."

He turns back quickly to Thad almost pleading with him, "If you ever mention I said that I will hurt you so badly your grandchildren will feel it. I know, I know, you all think I've gone soft.  But come on man, you've seen her.  She was this beautiful, virginal angel and she wanted me..."

I giggle uncomfortably as Thad murmurs in agreement.  "Guys, that still doesn't explain Hunter.  He seemed really, really pissed when I picked you guys up Friday morning and he found out I was with you Seb."  I can see Sebastian shrugging out of the corner of my eye.  Softly I hear a reply coming from the back seat, breathed out in a sleepy voice.  "He's jealous..."

I look in the rear view mirror to see Nick lazily blinking his eyes as if he is trying to will them to stay open. "Nicky?" He yawns and stretches as best as he can in the back seat of my car. "Hey Shann.... Can someone please detach him from me?"  He motions to Jeff, who is currently hugging onto Nick's shirt like he is his own personal teddy bear.  Thad laughs as he prys his hands away, gently pushing him back towards the seat again.  "He's definitely a clinger."

Nick nods as Jeff gives off this little sigh but thankfully doesn't wake up. I can't help myself as I coo out, "Oh my gosh. He's so adorably precious..." Thad and Nick chuckle but Sebastian sounds slightly offended. "Um, Love, I'm sitting right here. Your loving, adoring, and might I add incredibly sexy boyfriend. I thought I was supposed to be the only adorable one."

I give him a quick smile, "No Bastian. You're insanely attractive, blindingly handsome, scorchingly hotter than the face of the Sun. Jeffrey, he's all tiny sweet baby, fluffy little puppy, I want to squeeze him until he pops cute. Not the type I'd want to strip naked, straddle and do very dirty, naughty things to.  That would be you."

I hear gasps coming from the three boys that are awake. I guess none of them expected that type of reaction from me.

"Guessing she's not so virginal anymore, is she Bas?"

"Dude...... Thank goodness her cousin didn't hear her. Or you'd be a dead man."

"Guys, I did that to her. I'm not sure if I should be sad about it or proud of myself.  But isn't it so hot when she says things like that?"

I'm blushing now.  I need to change the subject.  "So what did you mean Nicky? About Hunter.  You know when you said he was jealous."  Nick quickly shakes his head as if clearing his thoughts.  "Oh yea, that.  Like I said, Hunter is just jealous.  He transferred to Dalton just so he could be leader of the Warblers.  And well Bas, you're still our captain.  So when he met you Shann and realized that you were Sebastian's as well..."

Huh. Sebastian grabs my hand protectively. I sneak a glance at him and he seems worried now.

"He transferred after I came to Dalton that first day? I didn't remember meeting him before, I thought I had met all you guys and that everyone knew Sebby and I were together." This time it is Thad that answers me, somewhat nervously. "He started three weeks ago, right after that karaoke weekend."

Oh... Now I feel bad.

"I don't want to cause discord in your group, especially this close to sectionals.  I'd hate to have anyone use the 'he's dating someone in the New Directions' as a reason to usurp your leadership."  Sebastian squeezes my hand again and brings it to his lips, kissing it softly. "Pretty Girl, please don't worry. You and I both know that we're too competitive to let our relationship interfere with a performance. I told you before, just trust me. We're stronger than this. All of this. Bigger than high school." I sigh, he's right.

I can't really discuss this further, especially with the boys in the back seat because that would totally blow our secret. And I can't risk Blaine finding out until Sebastian gets parental approval.

So...

Nick and Thad can sense my mood as well. "Shann, you seem down now." Nick pats my shoulder gently, "Would you like us to sing to you?"

I just shake my head. "Can I sing though? It might help me feel better..." They nod at me. Sebastian kisses my hand again, "Princess, we love your voice. Just tell me what song you would like me to queue up." I nod and tell him the song.

I finish my song and I can hear murmured approval from all of the guys. Sebastian kisses my hand again and whispers You're so beautiful against my skin.

And then I hear a sleepy voice softly speaking. "Precious, you're pretty..."

I smile as I notice Jeff opening his eyes through the rear view mirror. "Thank you Jeffrey. I hope you enjoyed your beauty sleep, because we're almost back to campus."
