Rachel, Kurt and I form quite the team in the kitchen. Without Sebastian in there distracting me, I am able to quickly pull together a rather respectable homemade pomodoro sauce.

Not that I don't enjoy Sebastian as a distraction. An amazing, tall, talented, handsome, gift from the heavens.

But none the less a distraction.

A beautiful distraction.

I sigh to myself and refocus on the tasks at hand. Rachel and Kurt assembly lined the eggplant, and now Kurt is shallow frying it on the stove top.  I'm stirring the sauce while Rachel is waiting for the pasta to finish up. "You guys, our boyfriends are like so lucky to have people like us! Look how domestic we are!!" Kurt and I just laugh at Rachel. "Rach, you're just stirring pasta noodles. Shann and I are actually cooking here."

Rachel pushes him slightly, "Pish posh, why must you ruin my fantasy Kurt!!" I put down my spoon and head towards the refrigerator for the vegan cheese, checking the oven to make sure it is preheated properly. I frown as I address them both, "Children, please. No fighting around open flames. Although we have an amazing hospital system in the city I really don't feel like touring it with you this weekend..."

They both look at me cautiously but stop their horsing around. I take the finished eggplant from Kurt and place them on a cookie sheet, topping with the cheese slices and turn to place them in the oven. I can hear them whispering to each other as my is back turned.

"No way she is younger than us.  She's like, so adult. She is going to be an amazing mom someday."

"I know right? Plus you should have seen her and Sebastian that weekend we went to karaoke, at Blaine's house. They were so domestic, like they were a married couple or something."

Or something...

I giggle to myself as I head back to the stove. "You guys are so weird.... And face it I AM the youngest. It's not my fault you act like little kids sometimes." I stick my tongue out at them and they just burst out laughing.

Santana comes strolling into the kitchen when she hears us laughing. "Lady Face, Berry, Water Sprite? You almost done with that? Everyone is getting antsy. You can only distract the Twink for so long. I don't know what you've done to him, but Shann he's got it bad. Like really bad."  I just roll my eyes. "I've told you this before, I'm magic guys."

They just laugh as I take some dishes out of the cabinets and hand them over. "Things are just about done, if you could set the table and let everyone know." They take the plates from me and head out of the kitchen, leaving me to finish up dinner. I drain the noodles and mix them with the sauce, adding fresh basil on top. Taking the eggplant out of the oven I turn around to notice that I'm no longer alone.

Sebastian is leaning against the door frame just watching me, an amused smile on his lips. He raises an eyebrow at me and I blush as I set the pan down on a cooling rack. I walk over to him and he pulls me close, wrapping his arms around me.  "Pretty Girl, you are just amazing..."

I look up at him with a smile.  "Seb, I KNEW that, but what prompted your admission this time." He just shakes his head, smiling down at me sweetly, eyes sparkling. "No Love. You truly ARE amazing. I could literally watch you forever. You made all of this happen, this weekend, bringing everyone together. Not to mention the dinner you're making, well finishing for us now. I don't know how I got lucky enough to find you..."

I'm blushing again, so incredibly happy.  But I avert my eyes, trying not to look at him.   Because looking at him is like looking directly into the sun, both have the ability to dazzle me senseless.  "You sound slightly stalkerish there, but you get a pass for being so damn cute. Sebastian, you better not say things like that too loud though.  Your friends may hear you, I wouldn't want to ruin your reputation."

He lifts my chin so I can look up at him again, giving me a heart melting smile.  I can feel my knees weaken and I know if he didn't have a hold of me I would have trouble standing.  How does he have this effect on me?

"Shannon, I don't care.  When I'm with you no one else's opinion matters.  Only yours." I wrap my arms around him tightly. Lowering my voice in case any of our friends are nearby, "Seb, you don't have to be all cute like that anymore. You already know that I'm yours, forever and always." He drops a sweet kiss in my hair. "Princess, I'm looking forward to telling you how special you are and how in love I am with you everyday, for the rest of our lives."

I raise my face to his as he lowers his to mine. I whisper softly, "I can't wait Sebastian." He is smiling as his lips touch mine, softly at first. And then building intensity. I raise on my toes and throw my arms around his neck, deepening our kiss just as I hear a voice call out.

"Look what we found!! Good Lord, again?! Guys, really?!"

"Wait, is dinner ready yet?"

"Well it looks like neither of them are hungry, at least not for what she made, so I guess more for us!"

We separate to see Jeff, Nick and Thad standing before us.  Jeff has his hand partially raised, a bottle of wine likely pilfered from the same place they got the liquor last night in his grasp.  I look up at Sebastian, seeing him shoot daggers from his eyes at his friends.  "Guys, really!?  Cockblocks I swear!!  I wouldn't interrupt you if you were kissing someone."  Jeff and Nick look slightly remorseful but Thad just continues to stare with a smirk on his face.  "Face it Smythe, there isn't a time when you AREN'T attached to her.  So you can't blame us anymore."

Sebastian huffs searching for an appropriate comeback.  I just whisper softly to him, "I got this..."  He nods as I remove my hands from his neck, drop back down on my feet and spin around in his arms to face the boys. I smile ever so sweetly and add extra sugar to my voice as I address them. "Thaddeus.... Which Smythe were you talking to?? Because frankly you're interrupting our Honeymoon celebration.  Now if you don't mind, I would like some alone time with my husband."  Sebastian squeezes me tight and laughs softly, "My goodness Pretty Girl, I love hearing you say that..."

All three of them just stare back at us wide eyed. Jeff finally lowers the hand he has the wine bottle in back down to his side. He and Nick are sharing surprised looks. Neither of them appear to be able to form sentences right now so Thad takes the opportunity to speak, barely squeaking out his question. "You guys actually did it? You got married?! Like for real??"

I keep a coy smile on my face as Sebastian laughs softly. "Of course. You think I'd risk someone like that Matthews dick swooping back in again? Now if we could get this dinner over with, we've only got a sitter for a few more hours and then we need to go pick up the kids."  I giggle at Sebastian's comments.  This is almost too easy.

"You have kids?!"  Nick looks completely aghast.  Sebastian and I can't help it any longer and just burst out laughing.  "You're sure that you are in high school right?  Do they not teach biology or sex education at Dalton?  We've known each other for almost two months.  We don't really have kids...yet."

I ease out of Sebastian's grasp and grab his hand instead.  He just shakes his head at his friends.  "You guys are complete idiots.  Do I look like I want Blaine to kill me?  We're.  Messing.  With. You!"  Thad looks at us and whispers, "So you're not??"

"Married? Pregnant?"  I share a quick glance at Sebastian and he winks at me.  "Nope.  But guys, come on, why don't we eat already.  Kurt and I slaved away making this for you, while Rachel supervised."

Sebastian and I go to call everyone else in but we still hear the boys talking to each other.

"I never would have thought this, but they are perfect for each other.  She may be even more devious than Bas.  And that's saying something."

Sebastian squeezes my hand as we hear them, whispering softly in my ear.  "Well played Mrs Smythe."
