Backstory Synopsis
Dan's father went missing and died soon after Dan was born, so he only ever got to know his mom for the most part.  He used to live in the city, where he didn't have many friends because he was shy and preferred his time to himself.  One day, his mother moved out of the city, for reasons Dan still doesn't understand, and into the small town of Honeydale when he was 10.  There, he met Vinny and was soon invited to their friend circle where he met Jackson and John, and later on Kai and Lukey.  The same year Lukey came out as non-binary, Dan came out as pansexual, and they started dating not long after.
