Karen and I got back home around 4 p.m. It was a great moment for us to spend together in the park and if not that she has to prepare dinner this evening we would still be there, enjoying the cool atmosphere.

She so cherishes her job that she disagreed with me on calling Maria to help her do the task tonight.

Now we are back at home while I help her take her luggage to Maria's room and come back to see her waiting for me on the quarter's porch.

"Thank you so much," She breaks the silence in gratitude with honest eyes and folded hands as we are both looking at each other's eyes.

"I had a great day," She adds and I smile.

"It's always a pleasure," I reply. "And I'm glad you had fun,"

She smiles broadly.

"I should go get some nap before starting my work," She suggests.

"Sure, you need that," I say with a shrug and she nods okay while I start leaving.

Those precious moments we had stuck in my head that I can't stop thinking about it as I am heading in.

It was just different from other dates I have had with other ladies. I can't even describe the feelings I'm having, it's unusual.

I see no one in the living room and I start dashing downstairs. All I want now is to also take a nap before the match start.

On my way to my room, something else comes to my mind. I need to talk with Jeff, probably he might help me talk with dad to stop involving me in his political stuff. I don't want to have anything to do with his stuff again.

I head back to his office which is also upstairs near dad's study. Dad is not around, seeing his door locked but Jeff's is unlocked.

I open the door and step in after a bare knock to shockingly see Jeff making out with my Sister.

My eyes are wide open in panic as I am terrified to see them that way. Olivia sits at the table while this guy is all over her.

"What the hell?" I exclaimed, raising my voice. They are distracted by that and Jeff instantly pulls back while Olivia gets up, adjusting her dress back both feeling ashamed for me to see them that way.

Jeff dares not even look at me, he just turns his back to me, facing the wall.

"Eww!" I add, acting like I want to throw up. What did I just see?

I am so disappointed with my sister the fact that I warned her not to go far with Jeff.

"What are you doing here?" She asks, her voice full of boldness.

"Really? Olly!" I react, my brow raised in shock.

"Next time you knock before coming in" She lectures and I giggle a little.

Well, I knocked but you were carried away by the shit I caught you with.

That is exactly what I want to let out but I try hard to hold it to myself, shaking my head in disbelief while Olivia walks out on us leaving Jeff and me in his office.

I slam the door as she disappears and I move close to Jeff.

"You can face me now," I say angrily as if I wanted to hit his face with my fist the moment he would turn to me.

How could he do this knowing who he is? I'm sure dad will not even agree to this.

"Look, guy," He finally turns around, looking embarrassed.

"How would you do this to my sister?" I confront.

"It's not my fault," He defends himself. "She likes me,"

"And you couldn't turn her down?"

"Well, the truth is I'm also in love with her,"

His reply makes me chuckle a little. Jeff of all people sincerely likes someone? That's bullshit. He is a playboy and I can't even count ladies he had had affairs with.

He is my boss in this game and now he is telling me he is in love with my sister.

"That will never work," I state clearly to his face.

"Come on Mike," He says.

"You and I know you, we know us," I express.

"Sure, but what about you and that girl, Karen? I have been seeing you guys around lately,"

I scoff a little. Because he saw us together doesn't mean we are having affairs.

"You can't compare that to you and Olivia, it's different and we are talking about my sister here,"

"But Karen is also somebody's sister."  He shrugs and I scoff in annoyance.

See how he is twisting our conversation. I wonder what he would say if he knows I wanted to play Karen.

"What I'm trying to say is that you are way too overprotective for your sister," He continues.

"Maybe I will stop that if you tell her that you do drugs at least," I retort with a sneering face.

"But it's your dad doing drugs not me," He argues.

"But my sister would never want her man to be part of that shit," I fire back sarcastically and he holds his waist, staring at the floor.

He clicks his tongue and now his eyes are back on me.

"Mike, I thought you are over this," He lets out in his calm voice, scrunching his brows in confusion while I roll my eyes.

"You would be an enemy of progress for your dad if another ear hears this from you," He adds reasonably and it got me.

"Whatever! I do not approve of you dating my sister the same way the chief won't approve," I say to his face before leaving his office.

Jeff is my g but him hurting or playing with my sister's heart is what I will never approve of.

I head straight to my room.

It's a boring Sunday evening and here I am dashing downstairs to intentionally join Karen in the kitchen.

We haven't talked that much since yesterday. I couldn't have dinner with dad and Olivia or her as I was busy with the match which ended up in a draw and by the time I came back to eat my meal, everyone had gone to bed.

This morning while Olivia and dad were preparing to go to church, I went to meet Scott at his hostel to study. We always dedicate Sundays to studying to look over what we have been taught the whole week.

Back at home and after freshening up, I was kinda bored, and lose interest in watching Netflix or playing video games. That is the reason I want to go and keep Karen company, she always has that vibe I can say I'm now addicted to.

Still on the stairs, I hear a heel sound popping behind my back and I turn around to see Tracy in her tuck-in shirt and pencil skirt walking slowly down the stairs.

"Hey," I greet her as I stop, leaning my back on the handrails for her to catch up.

"You are done seeing the chief in the master's bedroom," I whine even though she looks like she came for a job interview with her dress.

"Will you ever let go of this?" She reacts as she meets up and we walk down to the living room.

"What do you expect when I keep seeing my ex every day,"

"As if we were something serious back then,"

"Maybe I should have said my cruise ex," I reply and she chuckles a little, shaking her head.

"Scott told me that you hang out with Karen these days," She changed the conversation and I roll my eyes.

This boy loves to gossip. Must he tell Tracy everything he knew about me and Karen? Urgh!

"Yeah, he is right," I say, smiling.

"Wow," She reacts. "There is a party tonight at the orange bar, I would like you guys to come around, Scott is also coming,"

That sounds great, at least I'm gonna attend a party tonight.

"Sure, that would be nice," I retort, with a shrug.

"See you later then," She replies with a broad smile and starts cat walking out of me to the front door while I watch her disappear.
