About a month pasts since Garnet's big question, and today was special because Pearl got to pick out her dress! But, someone may ruined that...

Pearl's room...

Pearl woke up to Garnet laying next to her. She smiled, she already used to this. She got up, and walked to the waterfall, furthest to the right, to take a shower. When she got out, she realized what day it was, "I better get ready!" She ran to closet-hidden in another waterfall-and got dressed. When she looked back up at the bed, she noticed that Garnet wasn't there, 'Hmm, I wonder where she went?'

Then Pearl remembered, Garnet's not wearing a dress, but a suit. 'She's probably going to pick one out.' Even though Garnet has never admitted it, she did like to shop a little bit. 'And, she's the one planning the wedding! I forgot, I guess I'm too used to doing things myself.' Pearl didn't really like that she wouldn't get to see what the wedding was going to look like. It was going to be a surprise, all she knew was she was supposed to buy a white wedding dress.

"Well, I better get going." Then Pearl left.

In the house...

"Well, Pearl, you ready go?" Amethyst wasn't very happy, she had get up early, but still tried to be optimistic. After all, her sister, was picking out her wedding dress, "I can't believe you're getting married."

"I'm can." Amethyst turned and gave Jade a confused look, but Jade just smiled, "With her beauty, and ability to love no matter what, I'm can't believe boys or girls haven't been knocking down the door for her." Pearl blushed a little, and said, "Thanks, Jade. Well, we're wasting daylight! Let's get going!" She merrily skipped to the door.

At the store...

Pearl tried on dress after dress, and couldn't find the perfect one. Amethyst soon became bored, "Just hurry up and pick one!" Pearl sighed in frustration, almost all of them looked the same, and the ones that stuck out, were too big. She went digging around again, and finally found it. She smiled and ran for the dressing room.

When she put it on, it fit perfectly! She was even more excited! She stepped out of the dressing room, Jade Amethyst gasped at it's beauty! "That one is amazing! Where did you find it?" Jade walked around to see how well it fit, Pearl shrugged, "It was behind some dresses over there." And she pointed over to a rack in the back of the store. "Looks like someone was trying to hide it, well, good thing we found it, because it is absolutely beautiful! I really think Garnet's gonna like it a lot!" Jade gave Pearl a hug, while Amethyst walked out of the store, "Come on!"

The three of them left, and were heading home.

At the Chapel...

"Garnet, I'm sure she'll love it!" A small girl, with blond hair, was helping Garnet. Her name is Sadie. "I just need to make sure everything is perfect." Garnet was pacing through the chapel looking for any mistakes. She straightened a bow, and walked up to the alter, she smiled, but it was off by a little bit. She shifted it and went down the walkway.

"You're just like Pearl, a perfectionist!" Sadie was trying to make Garnet feel better, but it really wasn't working. "Sadie, the wedding is in two days! I NEED to make everything perfect. Do you really think she will like the colors?" Garnet looked at the ribbons, streamers, and the arc. "Yes, I like them a lot too."

Half the streamers were a light, baby blue, and the other half were just white. On the arc, at the very top, was a beautiful blue flower, this decoration made Garnet think of Pearl so she bought it for the wedding. Plus it was the right color.

"Hey, Garnet!" Steven walked up to her and showed her his suit. It was white, and had a nice black tie. "It looks nice, Steven. Good job. Now, don't get it dirty before the wedding, okay?" Steven promised and ran off. Sadie giggled, "He's too adorable! Good thing you picked him to be your best man!" She sat in a pew, finishing up Pearl's bouquet. "What do you think?" She held it up for Garnet to see, "It looks beautiful! Thank you, Sadie, for helping."

"No problem." The shorter girl smiled, then they both heard a scream.

Outside...

'Not again!' Garnet ran to the beach, passing the civilians running for their lives. On the beach, a giant worm was fighting the rest of the Gems. This worm thing had a huge mouth and seemed as though it had no eyes, 'Ugh, it's disgusting!' She jumped at the creature and hit it in the stomach, then it coughed up a civilians car! "Is that a car?!" Amethyst was a little shocked, but still fought.

Pearl threw her spear, but that did nothing. "We have to find it's weakness!" Pearl started looking for the weak spot, then she saw Jade jumped and slice it down the middle, the monster exploded. She stood up and her sword disappeared. Pearl gave her a confused look, then Jade cleared it up, "It was a worm, and it was my brother's monster, the weakness had to be slice down the middle. If you slice any other way, it would come back, so just get the brains first."

"Brains?"

"He usually makes two brains, I don't really get it either." She shook her head, she was sick of her brother. "I need to leave."

"What?! Why?" Pearl was upset, she needed Jade at her wedding. "Pearl, Peri is gonna try to hurt you, and not only will he hurt you, but your little one too." Pearl sighed, "Okay." She hugged Jade bye, and she left.

Unknown location...

"What the hell is your problem?!" Jade was screaming at Peridot, and all he did was get angrier and angrier, finally he cracked. He summoned his weapon, and that was the end of it. "Peri-stop-don't hurt me-please-ah!"

Blood went everywhere, and Jade laid lifeless on the floor, "Now," Peri grabbed her by her hair, "Go back and tell Pearl to watch her back, I WILL be at the wedding, and so will you, but that may be your funeral day, too." He laughed evilly as he threw her on the teleporter, and she teleported back to the temple.

'I have to warn Pearl!' That's all that through Jade's mind, 'I have to get her as far away from Peri as possible! Her and Garnet both.' She couldn't speak, she could barely move, the only thing functional was her brain. She was still bleeding out, from her head down, wounds covered her body. She ached, and since she couldn't stand, when she reached her designation, she dropped to the floor.

At the house...

"Jade!" Pearl ran for her, as soon she hit the ground. "What happened?!" Pearl couldn't ask, 'are you okay?' that would be a stupid question. Garnet, Amethyst, and Steven surrounded them. All Jade could do was groan in pain, Garnet picked her up in bridal style, the most comfortable way for Jade, and headed for her room.

As Pearl, Garnet, and Jade, entered the temple, Steven shrugged and sat back down on the couch. Amethyst was shocked, Steven, didn't want to go to the temple? "Yo, Steven, don't you want to see if she's alright?"

"Nah, I'll just stay here."

"What has got into you?!" Amethyst ran to the couch wondering why Steven was acting this way. "Nothing, I just don't want to make matters worse." Amethyst still shocked, decided to with it. No matter what Steven says, there is something up. 'I need to know what's wrong with Ste-' She didn't even finish her thought when Steven ask, "Hey, Amethyst, you wanna play?" She nodded her head and grabbed a controller.

In the temple...

Jade groaned as Garnet sat her down on the bed in her room. Pearl was trying to calm all the emotions-anger, pity, sadness, and hurt-she hoped that Jade would be okay. "Garnet, do you think she is going to be alright?"

"She's badly hurt, I don't think she's going to make it." It hurt, Pearl was hurting, her best friend, tried to stop her own brother, and failed. Now was going to die. "No, no, she has to be alright!" Tears already rushing down Pearl's face, "I can't her, I already lost Rose, I refuse to lose her too!" Garnet didn't say anything, all she did was hug Pearl.

Pearl cried into Garnet's shoulder. "It's going to be alright, Pearl. I promise." Garnet held her close.

"P-Pearl..." Jade wheezed out Pearl's name, she broke away from Garnet, and ran straight for the bed, "Jade?" No answer. "Jade, t-talk to me, please!"

"Get o-out of here! He's going to hurt you!" She was able to open her eyes a little, "Please, d-do it for me..." Jade had tears in her eyes too, but she tried to ignore the pain, she had to get Pearl out of danger's way. "No! I;m not leaving you, and your not leaving me. I can't lose another friend!"

Jade forced a little laugh, "Ha, you think i'm going out this easy?" Pearl smiled a little, but was still crying. Jade turned her attention to Garnet, "Promise me you'll take care of her."

"Pearl's right," Jade gave Garnet a confused look, "Your not leaving, you're going to get better, and I'll make sure of it." Garnet glanced over Jade's body and found the major wound, "Pearl, get the first aid kit, now!" Pearl left immediately.

"When did you start caring about me?"

"Look, I may not show it, but I care about all of you. Plus, you're Pearl's best friend, the one who helped her through... Rose's death. I did nothing." Garnet was tending the wound as best as she could without bandages. Jade winced, but knew Garnet was trying her best to help.

"Garnet!" Garnet turned around and saw Pearl standing in the doorway, she ran to the bed, and handed Garnet the box. After they got her fixed up, they both left.

Pearl's room...

"Is she going to be alright?" Pearl was laying bed, and all she could think about was Jade, "Yes, Pearl." Garnet was tired. She sat up and looked at Pearl. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be keeping you up." Pearl blushed a light blue, then Garnet grabbed Pearl and pulled her close. Pearl loved it, every time she cuddled with Garnet she felt safe. She soon found herself drifting off to sleep, without a worry in the world.

Next day...

Pearl awoke to Garnet gone, then it hit her, "Oh my goodness, Jade!" She left for Jade's room as fast as she could.

Jade's room...

"Jade!" When she got in the room, she saw Garnet next to the bed. Pearl walked closer and saw Garnet examining Jade, very closely. "Is there something wrong?" Garnet looked up and said, "She's healing faster than anyone I've ever seen! Not even Gems heal this fast!" Jade was barely awake, "So that means what exactly?"

"I-I don't know..."

Unknown location...

"Now, the potion I put on Jade is in effect, I can move on to part two of my plan, mwahaha! And the wedding is tomorrow, oh how I love weddings! To bad Pearl and the baby won't make it out alive! And, just because, I'll let Garnet live, so everyday of her life can be miserable. He precious wife, and baby are dead, because she couldn't protect them!" Peri laughed evilly again, "Thank you, sister, for helping me ever so much!"
