*Shadow's POV*
"And here I thought I would be the one with a scandal." Sonic and I turned to look at the door when we heard his brother speak. He wore G.U.N.s suit and put his stuff down at the table.

"Does everyone just walk inside your home without knocking?" I looked down at Sonic, who was moving away from me and rubbing the back of his neck as a nervous habit.

"Spike and Manic do." He stood up and walked to his brother.

"You two were cuddling. I caught you.  And you told me not to make jokes about it. I knew it!" The prince pointed his finger at his brother as he laughed.

"Sup, Stripes. How are you doing?" I turned when I heard Scourge and watched as he sat beside me. I instantly had the urge to punch him. He was also wearing a suit from G.U.N. something I never thought I would see.

"What are you doing here?" Sonic asked Manic as he looked at the stuff his brother brought with him. Mostly beer. "You know I work at a bar. I could have got these for free."

"I know. But honestly, it's not like it's such a hassle to buy stuff. Or steal it." He coughed the last part, earning a hit on the head from Sonic.

"Still with those habits. You're in charge of G.U.N. you should know better." I remained silent and watched until I smelled something sweet coming from beside me.

I turned to see Scourge coughing and smoke coming out of his mouth as he held something in his hand. I rolled my eyes , grabbed his pen, and then threw it out the window. Both Sonic and Manic turned to look at me a bit confused when Scourge started cussing at me.

"I keep telling you not to do that in front of others. You're lucky Shadow didn't hurt you." The prince said with a shrug at his boyfriend who walked angrily out the door to go get his pen from outside.

Sonic walked to the door and locked it, leaving him outside and pounding on the door for us to let him in. "Bad habits. Both of you."

"Hey. I am respectful with it." Manic defended himself. "He's the one doing it 24/7."

"That stuff is going to kill you." Sonic crossed his arms. "You shouldn't even be letting Scourge do that. Don't you do drug tests at G.U.N.? How can you make an exception for him? Do you know how bad that shit is for you? Disgusting. It's stupid, reckless. You're an idiot." Sonic went on scolding his brother, then shouting at Scourge from inside the house.

"Spike invited us out for drinks. You coming or not, mom?" Manic said as he grabbed the bags of beer and put them in the fridge. "What about you, Shadow? Sonic told me he accidentally got you drunk when you two met again. So I know you drink."

"Do you want to go?" Sonic asked me as he turned to look at me.

"I don't know. I was meeting Rouge today." His ears perked up.

"You were?" I nodded. I guess I forgot to tell him. "So she lives close by?"

"Two towns over." I said. "She told me this morning she wanted to meet up." I could see Scourge coming in through the window behind me, but I chose to ignore him. He was mumbling cuss words, then fell on his face when he was inside by tripping over a wire.

"Why don't you invite her? It would be nice to see her again. And Spike would surely calm down the nerves." Sonic smiled then looked at the window behind him, looking rather annoyed.

"Fucking idiot. I told you to watch out over the wire." I finally turned when I saw the fox climbing through the window as well and stepping over Scourge as he walked to the two brothers. "Are you guys talking about me?" He wrapped an arm around Manics neck which caused Scourge to walk over to him and snatch Manic away. "Hey, so Lucy told me you and Shadow are dating. Is that true?"

"Huh?" Sonic blushed lightly at the question, then nodded. "It is. Yeah. Wait. Did you tell Rouge you were with me? You should ask her first if she's fine seeing me again."

"She won't mind. I'll invite her." I grabbed my phone and texted Rouge the location to Sonics bar. Not telling her about Sonic at all.

"I thought you said you didn't want to ever meet them again?" Manic asked his brother.

"Good to see you're changing your mind about it." Spike spoke as he walked to Sonics fridge and opened a beer.

"Seriously? Your wife is going to kill me if you keep going home drunk every time you're with us." Sonic sighed and snatched the beer away from him, then drank from it.

We stayed at his house for another hour, the four of them talking as they tried to include me, but I wasn't used to it, so most not them time I stayed quiet. Sonic remained by my side and was holding my hand when we went to the bar. Rouge had already texted me that she was there waiting for me.

"I'll get us some drinks. I'll get Rouge a margarita and get us a round of shots. I'll meet you in a bit." Sonic said as he walked with Spike to the counter, and I looked around for Rouge. Manic and Scourge had stayed outside to smoke before coming in.

I found Rouge at the end of the bar sitting by herself. About 3 guys were trying to talk to her, but she waved them off. She finally looked up and smiled brightly when she saw me, then covered her mouth as her eyes got watery. She got up from her seat and flew towards me, hugging me instantly. I stumbled back but caught my balance and hugged back. It felt strange, yet it felt as if no time had passed since I last saw her.

She didn't look that different from the last time I saw her, she was taller though. She wore an off shoulder long satin dress with slits on both sides, she was catching everyone's attention at the bar. Especially when she hugged me, now I was getting looks and glares from everyone who seemed to be attracted to her.

"It's so good to see you again, Handsome." She said as she pulled away and cleaned her tears, then started fanning herself for her makeup not to smudge. I instinctively gave her a thumbs up when she looked at me after her tears dried up, telling her her makeup was good. "Now tell me all about him." She grabbed my hand and dragged me to the booth.

"My wife would kill me if she saw me around you." I turned when I saw Spike walking towards us with 3 beers in his hands.

"You're dating someone who's married?!" Rouge shouted at me.

"Oh chaos, no! I love my wife. But his boyfriend is coming with a drink for you and a round of shots. His boss needed to talk to him first." Spike sat down beside Rouge. "Nice to meet you, I'm a friend of his boyfriend, names Spike." He extended his hand to her when he sat down. Rouge took it and shaked it.

"Are you drinking all those 3 beers by yourself?" She asked, slightly concerned, and he laughed.

"Rouge, I need to tell you something." I said when I saw Manic and Scourge finally walking in and spotting us. And Sonic getting closer.

"Can you believe he wants me to work tonight? It's my day off. I'm not." I heard Sonic say as he got closer. Rouge immediately recognized his voice and snapped her head to get a better view.

"Sonic?!" Rouge sat up and shouted loud enough to startle Spike as he started choking on his drink. He moved out of the way and let Rouge run to Sonic as she immediately tackled him in a hug like she did with me.

Sonic laughed and hugged her back, but his face showed he was a bit nervous about being close to her. I don't blame him. Not after what he told me about why he left. Spike handed the other two beers to Scourge and Manic as they pulled chairs closer and sat down beside each other. They got the tray of shots and the other drinks Sonic was carrying before he was tackled and were now on the table.

I got up and walked to them, then stood beside Rouge. "This is what I wanted to talk to you about." I placed a hand on her shoulder as she let go of Sonic, then took off my jacket and wrapped it around Rouge since her dress was going lower and was making more people look this way. I closed it up as she frowned, then proceeded to softly smile at me.

"Wait. You didn't tell her?" Sonic asked. That's when Rouge connected the dots and loudly gasped. Sonic laughed as we both looked at Rouge while she looked at Sonic, then at me in pure shock.

"You're with Sonic?" Rouge asked me and I nodded. "You're with Sonic!" She shouted happily and clapped her hands, then hugged us together. "How did this happen? Tell me everything!"
