I walk into my homeroom and sit in the middle. No more sitting in the front of the class. The teacher comes in and says her name is Ms Hawkins.

"Hello Junior Class, I'm your homeroom teacher Ms Hawkins, I hope we'll make this a great year but before we do that, let's start with names shall we." She says. Yes, this is what I've been waiting for. She goes down the list until she says.

"Destiny Skai?" She says looking around the room and everyone else is looking around too. Yep, I was that big of a nerd, EVERYONE knew who I was. I stand up, "I'm here." I say confidently and watch as my classmates stare at me in awe. I hear them whispering to one another. Wow she looks hot! Did her butt get bigger? I'm gonna smash. Oh my god is that really her? That's the nerd? I don't think so. Oh my god her eyebrows are gorgeous. What happened to her? I smile and sit back down. "Very nice to meet you Destiny." She says, and continues, people are still staring.

Once homeroom is over, I go to my next class. Science. By now, everyone has heard of me, people are actually coming up to me asking if it's really me. I am enjoying this. I walk into social studies and I see that Marcus is in this class, also Selena is in this class. She's staring at me with her mouth open, I guess she heard the news. The teacher comes in and assigns our seats, when he gets to me, he says I'll be sitting next to Marcus. Yes! I walk over and put my books down and look into his eyes. God he is so gorgeous. The teacher drones and drones and I'm looking at Marcus the whole time.

The bell rings and I go to my next class but before I can get out the door, someone grabs my arm. "I can't believe this." She says. It's Selena of all people. "Just because you look hot now, you will forever and always be Nerdy Destiny." She says looking at me up and down disgustedly. "Looooooky here ms plastic surgery," I say. "You've barely even talked to me before, and when you did it was to make fun of me, so now, I came back, and I'm a baddie and there's nothing you can do about that." I say. "Now move out my way, before I have to rip out your extensions." I say and cross my arms.

"Your pathetic." She says, and walks out the door. I scoff. Who does this girl think she is, I'm too good for her.

A couple of classes later, a couple of stares here and there, it's time for lunch, Aria and Derrick are at my locker and we need to decide where to eat. "I kinda want sushi." Derrick says. "Ew, D" Aria says, "Why don't we just go to a fast food place?" I say trying to make everything simple. "Naw last time I got food poisoning." He says. I roll my eyes. "Um, Des, I think you have a visitor." Aria says pointing behind me. I turn around and it's Marcus.

"Hey," He says smiling at me. "Wassup?" I say. "Do you want to go eat lunch with me and my friends?" He asks looking into my eyes. "Sorry, I kind of have plans with my friends." I say pointing to Aria and Derrick. "Maybe next time?" I say. "Yeah of course." He bites his lip sensually. "I'll see you Des, you look great by the way." He says and jogs off to his friends. I turn back around.

"Oh my god he's in love with you!" Aria says looking at Marcus. I laugh. "I really doubt that." I say. Derrick rolls his eyes. "Can we just go," he says and walks out the door. "Touchy.." I say to Aria who tries not to smile. "But do you really think he likes me?" I say to Aria as we walk out the door." "Face it Des, this new look, is doin it for you." She says, and we walk out together.
