Aria's POV

I wake up and rub my eyes. Derrick laying next to me breathing softly. I slowly get out of the bed trying not to make a lot of noise. I notice a T-Shirt on the floor. I grab it and put it on me.

"Aw but I was enjoying the view!" Derrick says as he gets up. I turn around. "Oh shut up." I say and run my fingers through my hair. "Leaving so soon?" He says as he gets up and wraps his arms around me.

"I don't have any clothes, make-up, contact's anything, so I have to leave." I say as I grab my bra from off the floor. "I'll call you an uber." He says as he grabs his boxers from the floor.

"You don't have to I'll be fine." I say and rush out of there. I don't know why I'm being so awkward. I close his bedroom door and walk out the back.

I try to be as quiet as I can when I get to my own house. Luckily, my mom doesn't see me. I get showered, put on my clothes, do my hair and put my contacts in.

Last night was so crazy between me and Derrick. I never expected him to kiss me. Or even let it lead into something more. I was for sure he liked Des.

I get dressed and head out the house as if I never left and started the walk to Destiny's house. The whole way I was debating whether or not to tell Des. I mean, it's not like she really likes him?

As soon as I begin to knock on the door Des comes flying out. "Hey Aria." She says smiling. I want to smile but I can't. "Hey Des." "Girl I have so much to tell you you won't even believe it." "What?" "Selena is back." Oh heellllll no. Not Selena. So soon? I thought she would've stayed exactly where she was.

"What exactly happened?" I say. Maybe if I hear Destiny talk about something else, it will take my mind off of Derrick. "I went to Marcus' cousin's party, Malcolm and everything was going great until Selena showed up, and didn't exactly like the idea of Marcus giving me rides and spending so much time together."

"They need to just break up already." "That's what I'm saying!" She says. "Marcus better talk to you today or I swear to god I'll kill him." I say and give a small little laugh. It's forced. "Enough about me, what's going on with you?" Des says and my heart drops. Do I tell her? Risk everything? I'm not even sure what it is yet.

I clear my throat. "Nothing, just stayed home." I bit my lip and hoped Derrick wouldn't tell Des we hooked up. "I wish I could've done the same." She says and we start to walk to Derrick's house. I feel like it's been forever since we've walked together.

Des rings the doorbell while I have a heart attack. I have to act like this is the first time I've seen Derrick. He comes out looking fine as wine.

I don't know what it is, but whenever Derrick wears black, ohhhhh baby. I stare him up and down and he knows I'm doing it too. I bite my lip as he flashes me a smile and his dimple shows. "Wassup Aria." he says and smirks at me. "Hi...." I say nervously. C'mon now Aria! "Hey Des." He says and gives her a hug and she hugs back.

He pushes his glasses up on his forehead and now he's looking at me. Right through me. "Ready?" He says, and we all walk to school together.

Before we get inside Marcus jogs up to catch us with us. More importantly Des. "Hey Des can we talk?" Marcus says. Des looks wary. "C'mon Aria let's go." Derrick can tell they need time to talk so he grabs me by my arm and drags me inside the building. He leads me to a locker. He pushes me up against the locker and starts kissing me.

His hands wildly travel around my body as he pulls me closer and wraps one strong arm around my waist. He cups my cheek and we keep kissing. I pull away.

"Derrick what are you doing?!" He looks lost. "What?" he says. "You can't just kiss me openly in the hallway what if anyone sees?" He says.

"You mean what if Des sees?" He says looking hurt. "That's not what I meant." I say trying to defuse the situation.

"Whatever Aria I'll see you in class." Derrick walks off and I'm more confused than ever.

Destiny's POV

Derrick grabs Aria as they walk into school leaving just Me and Marcus. I kinda wanted them to stay.

"Um what's up Marcus?" I say tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. "I just wanted to make sure we were still cool." "Yeah of course why wouldn't we be?" I say. "Well, because of Selena last night, I'm so sorry that was so unexpected."

"It's fine." I say rubbing my arm. "I gotta get to class." I say trying to end this conversation, I just can not deal with this right now.

"Wait before you go," He grabs my hands and holds them. Slowly rubbing them with his thumb. "I have something to tell you." He looks into my eyes and it's kind of making me nervous.

"What?" I say.

"Yesterday, I broke up with Selena."
