Authors Note: Sorry for the slow updates guys! School just started back up for me so I've been pre-occupied <3

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. I wake up to my alarm clock telling me it's time to wake up. I turn it off and sit up. I rub my eyes, and then slowly get up. Memories of yesterday flow through my head. My "non-date' with Marcus. It wasn't a date I promise.

I wash up, and come back into my room to figure out what I'm going to wear today

I grab my phone out of the charger and walk downstairs.

I see a note on the table saying that my mom is already at work. I grab a bagel and start my walk to Aria's house when I stop in my tracks.

Is.....is that Marcus' dad's car?

Marcus steps out of the car and holds his hands wide. "Surprise!" He says and smiles. "What is this?" I say as I lock my door.

"My way of being nice." He says and leans against the hood. "Want a ride?" he says. "Depends on who else is in the car." I say referring to Selena. "Selena went on vacation to Mexico with her family this week." Marcus says.

"Oh, so your just using me till Selena gets back huh?" I say jokingly. "Yeah, I totally am now get in!" Marcus says crinkling his eyes as he laughs. I start to get in.

My eyes wander down to Marcus' outfit. Are...are we matching?

"But wait," I say looking at his face now. "You have to pick up my bestfriends too." I say and Marcus smiles. "No problem." He says and opens the door for me. I smile and get in.

He drove to Aria's house and I got out to go get her.

I ring the doorbell and she comes to the door. "About TIME!" She says her eyes go over to Marcus waving.

"I'm not even going to ask." She says and goes to greet Marcus. I laugh, that's probably for the best.

Next stop is Derrick and I'm worried to see how he's going to react.

Aria and I ring the doorbell. "Surprise!" we say and give him jazz hands. he laughs but refuses to look at me. What he is looking at though, is Marcus sitting against his car. Derrick's face falls. "What is he doing here?" he says to mainly Aria and not me. "He's giving us a ride." Aria says and Marcus waves at us.

"I think I'll walk." Derrick says and starts to do so. "Wait!" I say and grab him. "Why? It's such a long walk." I say trying to mend things between us. Derrick's eyes look at my outfit for a couple of seconds. Then shift to Marcus' outfit. "I don't need a ride from your pretty boy boyfriend." He says and angrily walks off.

I just let him go. Derrick lately has just not been worth it. I turn back and walk to Marcus. "We lost one?" He says looking at me. "Yeah, let's go." I say and get in the front while Aria sits in the back.

I stare out the window and listen to the radio on the drive to school while I hear Marcus and Aria laughing and talking about random things.
