I look in the mirror and this girl looks back at me. She has straightened long brown hair, medium skin, long legs, contacts, where was this girl last year? She was hiding behind her books and her glasses. Hanging out with her friends and sneaking into parties she wasn't invited to. But this girl? This girl is about to snatch everybody at that school. All the teasing...gone. I may look different, but I'm still me...just...improved.

I turn to my side, my butt has gotten a lot thicker, I smooth my hair down. People won't be able to resist me this year. I say smiling at my reflection.

My light blue jeans are perfect against my now curvy figure. I grab my phone off the charger and grab my portable, and then I walk downstairs.

"Hey mom." I say kissing her on the cheek. "Morning baby, aw don't you look nice for the first day of school." I blush. "Yeah, I'm not trying to be that lame girl I was last year." My mom gives me a look. "Not everything about looks baby." She says. "I know," I say eye rolling. "But, I just wanted a change." I say, I grab some toast and a bottled water. "I'll see you later." I say and walk out the door.

I walk down the street to my best friend's house Aria Chapman. I knock on her door. "Open up bxtch." I say. Yep, I've also had an attitude change, people can't just walk all over me again. Aria comes to the door with the cutest outfit on.

"You look bomb sus." She says closing the door with that. "No you do." I say, Aria just dyed her hair orange-ish yellow and it's working for her. "Let's go get Derrick." I say. Derrick Raymond is our other friend. We've all known each other since kindergarten. As we walk to his house, we talk about everything that happned over the summer, all the tea, all the parties, everything.

We walk up to Derrick's house and he's already outside. "Took y'all long enough." He says. He stops when he sees me. "Damnnn." He says and I playfully shove him. "You look great!" He said, I guess you were really serious about changing your look." I smile at him. "Yeah, this year nobody can ignore Destiny Skai."

"Well let's go." Derrick says and we all walk to school together.

Before we go in, "Okay, everyone remember the plan for lunch," Aria says. We all nod. "Let's see how people react to my new look." I say smiling. We all walk into another year of drama, deceit, and betrayal, otherwise known as high school.
