*Adithya Pov*

"Just for fifteen days, Rajeev." I said going through the files to finish the overall work before leaving for holiday.

"Fifteen days? Who have get-together for those many days?" He asked shaking his head in surprise.

"Actually, only ten days are for get-together. I am taking an extra five days leave to have a holiday with only Janice with me." I explained.

"Like a honeymoon? Then it is ok, but still ten days are not a small time. What is your batch thinking?" He asked again.

"You are just jealous that you didn't study in my college. Your college had a one-day party while my college friends are thinking about long holiday." I replied laughing at his frowning face.

"Fine! I am jealous and I so wish I can come with you guys." He said sighing.

"But anyway, just keep me posted because I am really curious about what will they do with all those days." He added, and I accepted.

"I didn't think I would get permission for the leave." I said getting up.

"Our head loves us both, and you didn't take those many holidays, for nearly a year." He explained.

"His daughter also loves us both." I said, raising my eyebrow at him.

"I have so much work to do. Happy journey." He said walking outside the cabin understanding that I got his secret for the flu he got when we decided to go to the picnic.

I reached home and saw that Mom and Dad are there along with Janice's family. I greeted all of them and walked inside our room to see her walking here and there while packing our bags in a rush.

"I would have helped you Jaan. You should have waited for me." I said removing my revolver and locked it up in safe and even used different password than everyday so that it will be safe.

"I am almost finished." She said not looking up at me.

"Did you pay your part of the money?" I asked her remembering that we need to pay each person's money differently and not group it even though for a couple.

"Yeah! But I should go to bank one day after returning." She replied.

"Why?" I asked her confused.

"I forgot to change my surname into yours. It is still my parents." She replied.

"It's ok, Jaan. You can keep it like that." I said, smiling at her.

"I want to change it. Do you have any problem if I use yours?" She asked, raising her eyebrow with a smile.

"I will love it too much. Janice Sinha! What a nice name." I replied circling my arms around her waist pulling her towards me.

"Adithya Britto! That is also a nice name." She said teasing me.

"We will go to the bank together then. I will change my name, and you change yours." I said, and she bursted out laughing.

"Guys! You both are going to honeymoon so this can stop right now." We heard a new voice and turned to see Abby.

Jaan looked away while I walked inside the washroom to get ready as I saw that we are getting late.

"You both take care of each other ok." Our Moms said again for the past ten minutes.

"We will, Mom!" we both said at a time.

Jaan's Bhai dropped us both at the airport and drove away wishing us 'Happy journey'. We went through the procedure before getting on the flight.

"We should have bought the tickets by ourselves for the flight too." I said when the plane took off.

"Adi! Our parents gave the tickets like a gift. Don't think too much about it." She said, placing her head on my shoulder.

"I am not talking about money Jaan. We will be just in time at the place where everyone is going to meet each other, but we may even get late so we should have booked our tickets." I explained.

"Oh! Well, we will be fashionably late." She said and we both chuckled hearing that.

"Just stay with me always ok?" she asked, looking up at me, and then I saw the vulnerability in her eyes.

"I will like you are always with me." I replied smiling at her.

*David Pov*

I walked outside the airport and took a cab to reach the place where everyone is going to meet. When I reached there I saw that Parul too just reached.

I glanced at her and saw that she is as perfect like I saw a few months back but now her eyes are sad.

"Are you ok?" I asked her before I could stop myself reaching near her.

"I am! What about you?" She asked, looking anywhere but my eyes and I too did the same.

"Fine!" I replied, and we both fell into silence.

"I lost my childhood friend too. I lost him." She suddenly said.

"Yeah! She seems happy when I saw her a few months back." I said nodding my head.

"David, Parul! Where are your spouse's?" We heard our common friend Kamal's voice along with his wife who was also in our group at college.

"What?" we both mumbled to each other.

"We are waiting for Adithya and Janice." Pooja explained.

"They don't know about our divorce and their marriage, I guess." Parul said, and I nodded at her.

"We updated our status about our marriage but never changed it, and I was not in contact with any of our friends after the divorce so none of them know about that." I said, and we both rubbed our foreheads.

"They will kill us with looks if we tell them what happened, and I can't even get the words out." She said, and I nodded at her.

"Let them explain everything." I said, and she accepted.

Then we heard laughing sound, so we turned to see Janice and Adithya walking towards the building from the gate joking to themselves.

"Wow! There are really happy." Parul mumbled, and I nodded looking at them feeling completely jealous.

"That would have been us with our first partners." I mumbled back.

They both glanced up and stopped for a second seeing us, but just continued to walk inside, ignoring us completely.

"I want that happiness." Parul and I said at a time, and we both walked inside following them.

"Ok! Girls will be in one bus while boys will be in another to reach the resorts where we will stay." Kamal explained, and we all nodded before getting on the bus.

*Third Person Pov*

"So Janice, how is the life with that husband of yours?" One of the girl's with David in mind asked her in between the talks.

"Amazing!" Janice replied, smiling while Parul frowned looking away.

"He is the most handsome man right?" Pooja asked smirking.

Janice got an image of Adithya in her mind and calmly said, "He is definitely, and I am lucky."

Parul suddenly understood what is happening here. These all are asking Janice about David but Janice is considering that they all know about her marriage with Adithya.

Parul was about to explain them the situation, but the words died on her tongue with shame remembering what she did. She chose to keep quiet.

"We never thought you would be so lucky Adithya to get a girl like her as your wife." One guy said teasingly.

"I am very lucky and I too never thought that." Adithya said smiling thinking about Janice.

"She is very beautiful." He added and everyone teased him more, but as for David even though he felt jealous, he understood what miscommunication is happening here.

He was just about to tell them about that, but stopped himself not being able to even think of bearing their eyes showing their disgust.

He closed his eyes, feeling nothing but shame and wished everything to go back so that he never made that mistake at all.

Parul and David are thinking in the same pace, feeling that they wish they can change anything to not be in this situation.

Janice and Adithya are feeling great that everyone is talking to them very closely and is also thinking when they can see each other again as it will take more than two hours to reach the destination.

miscommunication is another worse thing.... so yeah this is really a bad situation at present.....
