*Adithya Pov*

"Adithya! Don't leave my hands." She screamed.

"I will not." I assured her gripping her hands more on the handlebars.

"But try to open your eyes while driving." I added chuckling.

"Don't laugh! This bike is so heavy." She said scolding me.

"This is just your first week of driving so don't worry." I said and made her stop.

"Thank god I am not learning it on the main road. So you trained here or what?" She asked, looking around the police grounds.

"Not completely, but yeah. Shall we go? We shouldn't be here for much time." I replied, and she nodded smiling.

"Are you up for a half an hour class every day?" I asked when we reached our home.

"Yeah! We just have to wake us early." She replied yawning.

"We can sleep for one more hour." I said, looking at the time.

"I don't think I can get up if I sleep now." She said shaking her head.

"I forgot mentioning to you. We are supposed to go to your house today." I said walking towards the cupboard.

"Why?" She asked, walking near me.

"Casually for a small gathering." I replied, smiling and she nodded.

"Ok! You will pick me up right?" She asked smiling back.

"Actually, I may get a little late. Why don't you go there directly?" I asked her back.

"Ok!" she replied nodding.

We got ready little early and went downstairs as she wanted to prepare some heavy breakfast to kill the extra time.

After dropping her, I went to my station and chose to finish the work as soon as possible. However, having a best friend who wants to talk to you for every hour is not helpful to do that.

"Why are you in a hurry?" He asked frowning.

"I have somewhere to go." I replied shrugging.

"Where? Oh to meet your wife?" he asked smirking.

"Yes!" I replied smiling.

"God! You are really whipped dude." He said shaking his head.

"What are you talking?" I asked frowning at him.

"I mean every time you only think about your wife. I never thought you would be this happy. I guess new love always does wonders. I am happy for you Adithya." He replied smiling.

"Love!" I mumbled to myself.

"I think you were wrong in the beginning." He suddenly said and I frowned, looking at him coming out of my thoughts.

"About what?" I asked him.

"When I asked you why you are marrying her, you said she needs you. I guess you are the one who needed her from the beginning. She needs you too, but you need her more." He explained.

I sat there stunned for a few minutes and slowly, said, "Yeah! I need her. I really need her."

A smile broke out on my face, and I started working with an even more rush. I need to finish all of this and make her surprise even more special.

*Janice Pov*

"Where the hell is he?" I asked myself looking at the door.

"Hey!" I heard Abby saying by snapping her fingers in front of me.

"Yeah?" I asked, turning to look at Bhai and her who is looking at me back with teasing smiles.

"What?" I asked them again when they just continued to give me the same smiles.

"I am happy for you, Janice." Bhai said looking at me with a serious tone.

"Why?" I asked him frowning.

"Because you are happy dumbo." He replied.

"I am really happy." I said, looking at them smiling.

"And the credit goes to?" He asked smirking at me.

"To Adithya." Abby replied.

"Hey! I am the one who signed for their marriage so credit goes to me." Bhai said frowning at her.

"Oh please! If Adithya is not there, then she wouldn't have found her love at all." Abby said rolling her eyes.

"Love?" I whispered to myself.

"But I am the witness here." Bhai said, and they both started bickering.

"You didn't want to do that at all at that time." Abby said, and I glanced at Bhai in shock.

"I mean... You said you want to marry him because he needs you. I didn't want you to sacrifice for anyone, so I thought of not doing it but looks like I did a right thing coming there at the last minute." He explained, and I nodded.

"And now I understood that you are the one who needs him more than he needs you." He added.

"You are right Bhai. I really need him." I said after a few seconds.

"But where the hell is he?" I added, looking at the door.

"Maybe he is very busy and forgot about this. I will drop you now if you want to." Bhai offered.

"No! I will spend some more time with you guys." I said shaking my head.

"Then stop looking at the door." He said rolling his eyes, and I rolled my eyes back seeing his dramatic look.

So finally I stopped looking at the door and started actually spending time with my family. But I didn't stop fidgeting with my phone.

"Bhai! Just drop me at home." I said looking at the clock frowning.

"Ok! But why don't you call him?" Bhai asked, looking at my phone.

"No! Just drop me." I said walking outside bidding 'Bye' to all of them.

"Don't scold him or something. Just have a talk." He said when his car stopped in front of my home.

"Ok! Good night." I said walking inside the house and saw that most of the lights out.

"But this is too early." I thought to myself locking the door with my key.

Then I saw that their footwear is missing. Did something happen to anyone of them? I thought with fear.

I rushed into our room but stopped at his old room seeing the light in it and opened the door to only get stun in my roots. I glared at him with everything I have and walked inside the room.

"So this is what you are doing without coming to my parent's house?" I asked standing before him with folded arms.

"Do you want some?" he asked, showing the spoon of ice cream towards me.

"I am going to our room." I replied turning away.

"Wait! You can't go because I locked the room." He said and I again turned towards him.

He is calmly sitting on a chair near the window eating his ice cream. I frowned at his words and asked, "Why?"

"Because you stink and you need to have a bath." He replied shrugging.

"You are so mean." I said, looking at him in shock.

"Go and have a bath." He said, gesturing towards the bathroom.

"But I don't have any dress." I said, looking around the empty room.

"I put one inside." He said shrugging and then I smirked at him.

"So this is a surprise for me?" I asked him, and he coughed as the spoon got stuck a little in his throat.

"Why are you not angry? You should be angry at me at present and how the hell you know about surprise?" He asked looking at me.

"Come on, Adithya. Give me some credit being your wife for all these months. I know you." I replied smiling at his shocked face and walked inside the washroom.

After having a fast shower, I wore the Saree he got for me. It is just my favorite color sky blue. I walked outside to find that he is already standing near the door yawning a little.

I cleared my throat and he glanced towards me, but didn't move a little. I moved a little hoping he would say something and not stare at me like that.

"You are looking... wow." He said, and I don't know how a small blush formed on my cheeks.

"Thanks!" I said, rubbing my cheeks a little hoping the blush leaves my face.

"Come on!" he said, pulling me outside and we both walked into our room.

"Where are your parents?" I asked remembering them.

"Actually, they went for a small function today evening and will not return for two days." He replied.

"And I don't know about it?" I asked myself.

"I didn't want you to know so that I can prepare the surprise properly." He replied hearing it.

"Thanks for the surprise." I said, looking at him when we walked to the door, and he is unlocking the door.

"You didn't see it Janice." He said, glancing at me.

"I know it will be wonderful." I said, smiling and walked inside when he finally opened the door.

"How is it?" he asked, closing the door behind me.

"It is not wonderful." I calmly answered.

"I know! I never did it, so I think I need some more time before it will become good." He started saying making me turn around to face him.

"It is beyond that." I whispered, smiling at him.

"Hey!" he said, brushing my cheek, and then I realized that I have tears in my eyes.

"I am glad that you liked it." He said smiling.

Who will not be looking at the room filled with our big wedding picture on the wall and a table setting for us to have dinner near the window and then the dim lights?

"I wanted candles too, but I know you will clean tomorrow, stopping me, so I didn't want to give you much work." He said, turning me around and we both stared at the room with him holding me.

"You got that right." I said leaning back.

"Let's have some dinner. I am so hungry." He said, pulling me near the table.

"You left some ice cream for me, right?" I asked looking at him.

"Of course! Actually, I thought you would be angry with me when you see that I am eating your favorite ice cream. So I ate that." He replied.

"You should already know that I am smart Adi." I said shaking my head.

"I know Jaan." He said, and we both stared at each other.

"Nice nicknames." We both said to each other and immediately chuckled.

"This is so nice." I said tasting my favorite dish.

"I brought it from your favorite restaurant." He said smiling.

"Thanks!" I said, and he frowned at me.

"Don't say that so many times. You are my wife Jaan and you need not to say thanks to me at all." He said, and I nodded smiling.

After dinner, we cleaned the dishes together and returned to seeing him moving the table aside so that we both don't get hurt.

"This is really nice." I said, looking at the photo frame.

"We should have more photos together." He said hugging me from behind.

"Yeah! Why don't we click one now?" I asked and he immediately left me walking towards the cupboard.

He returned with the camera and put it on the table, we just had dinner. He sat on the chair which is near the window and suddenly pulled me on his lap making me look at him in shock.

"What? We need to get a photo right? Now look at the camera. We will have ten pics and select one best from them." He said and I nodded, turning towards the camera with his hand holding my waist.

Then suddenly the air gushed loudly from the window making my hair go at all places. I laughed thinking about our pic with me looking like a ghost with hair moving from all sides.

"That picture is going to be epic." He said, realizing the same.

I decided to get up to brush the hair, but he stopped placing his other hand on my face and started pushing the hair back to clear my face.

I turned to see him so that it will be easy for him, and it was but when my face is clear of hair strands, he leaned towards me, placing his lips on mine.

I smiled and kissed him back and then we both heard the click making both of us chuckle realizing what the picture would be of.

"I like you." He said smiling at me, and I got a little shock as we never expressed what we feel for each other at all.

"I like you too." I said, placing my hand over his cheek.

He placed a kiss on my palm and got up still holding me in his arms. My arms circled around his neck on their own, and he slowly walked towards our bed.

He placed me in the middle and started to move away a little, but I stopped him not removing my hands. He stared at me, and I stared at him back and we both didn't utter even a single word.

"Are you sure?" he asked after a few seconds caressing my cheek.

"Are you?" I asked him back and he slowly dipped on me making my breath stop.

"I am!" he replied pestering little kisses on my jaw and then on my neck.

"I like you." That's all I said before, his kisses became strong, making my breath hitch before everything became wonderful. Actually, beyond wonderful.
