*Janice Pov*

I glanced at everyone and saw that even today they all are silent. What is more surprising is even Bhai is silent along with Abby for the past few days since I told them regarding my decision.

I can totally see my parents trying to change my decision so much, but I am not budging at all.

In all this silence my phone rang, making me startle a little as it is already late night, so I don't even know who is calling.

I saw the caller Id and immediately lifted, saying, "Hello?"

"Sorry for calling you at this time, but just got some free time now." He replied.

"It's ok! Anything happened?" I asked him playing with my food.

"I got the court date for tomorrow evening." He replied.

"So early." I mumbled as I thought it will take few more weeks.

"Yeah! I found a small-time slot so got our names registered there. Is that ok?" He asked.

"It is completely ok. We will meet tomorrow directly then." I replied.

"I will not be there at the café I guess. It is not good to see the bride before the wedding day right." He said, and I chuckled.

"Yeah! Good night." I said and hung up when he wished me back.

"Who was that?" Mom asked.

"It is not important. So are you guys ok with my decision?" I asked Mom and Dad.

"No!" They both said.

"Ok!" I mumbled and continued to have my dinner.

After everyone retired to their rooms, I walked towards Bhai's room and knocked on his door.

"Janice! Is everything ok?" Bhai asked frowning.

"I need to talk to you." I replied and walked inside.

"Why are you both so silent since these past few days? You guys didn't oppose or accepted what I said." I said sitting on the bed.

"Because I don't know what to say. On one side, I feel you are hurrying but on the other side, I saw the determination in your eyes, which was not there even for that idiot." Bhai said, and I shook my head.

"I am going to get married tomorrow, and I want you both to be there. But I know Abby needs rest, so at least you are there for me." I said in one breath, and they both looked at me in shock.

"What do you mean?" Bhai asked frowning.

"I am going to get married tomorrow in court, and I want you to be there." I replied properly.

"What? How can I miss your wedding?" Abby asked.

"It's ok Abby. Just some signature and little procedure. You need to take a proper rest, but you can help me pack though." I replied, and she nodded sighing.

"Are you sure Janice? As far as I think our parents will not know about this, right?" He asked.

"Yes for both. So will you be there?" I asked him frowning.

"Ok! But the effect of this decision lies on your shoulders." He replied.

"But why do you really want to marry him?" he asked.

"He needs me." I replied and walked outside their room.

I drifted off into sleeping with only one thought that from tomorrow onwards I would be sleeping in a different room.

*Adithya Pov*

I woke up even earlier than everyday and rushed outside the house without anyone catching me holding a bag.

I started doing my work and in prompt mode to finish everything soon for today. Rajeev saw me but didn't say anything like everyday and continued to do his work.

In the evening, I walked towards him and said, "You need to come and sign for me."

"Where?" he asked, frowning.

"As a witness." I replied.

"What did you do?" he asked me in a whisper and dragged me to the corner.

"For my marriage idiot." I replied, and he sighed in relief but immediately frowned.

"I already thought, you would not back down, but I never thought you would go to these measures." He said still frowning.

"Will you sign or not?" I asked him frowning.

"Of course I will! I will call Rani too." He replied and immediately called her while I walked inside the restroom to change my dress into formals.

"Let's go!" I said and saw him looking at me in shock.

"Shall I get married in uniform?" I asked, and he shook his head.

"Why do you really want to marry her?" He asked when we reached the court.

"She needs me." I replied and walked towards the bench seeing her sitting on it alone, and she is wearing a Saree.

"Hey!" I said and joined her.

"You are here? I really thought you would back out." She said and sighed.

"You thought I would back out?" I asked her shocked.

"Yeah!" she replied, shrugging.

"So in a few minutes we will get married." I said, looking at a couple leaving the room.

"Will we forget them?" she suddenly asked.

"I hope so!" I replied.

"He was..." "She was..." we both started at a time, but stopped hearing each other's word.

"Ladies first." I said smiling.

"He was my crush and then my husband and then my love. He is really cute you see." She said.

"She was my crush and then my wife and then my love. She is really hot you see." I said, and we both chuckled.

"I will be faithful no matter what happens." She said, and I can hear the promise.

"I will be also faithful, and that will never change." I said, and she smiled.

"You know we are getting married like some lovers." She said looking at the lovers.

"Yeah! Without our parents knowing about this and all. I don't know how they will react when we return home." I said sighing.

"I too want to know that." I heard a new voice and looked up to see a guy, and I immediately know him.

"You are her brother right?" I asked getting up.

"You got that right and by the way, I know it is late. But hurt her and you will deal with me." He replied.

"Bhai!" Janice said, getting up.

"What? I need to say that dialogue. It is mandatory." He said rolling his eyes, and we all went inside as our names were called.

I took the pen and signed it without thinking, and she too did the same within a blink. Those three signed as witnesses, and I already had someone here who can sign if they need another person. Rani passed the garlands, and we exchanged them normally.

"Can I put the necklace (Mangalasutra)?" I asked her showing the black beads one.

"Sure!" She replied and moved the hair to a side.

I put it around her neck and felt them throwing flower petals at us. Rajeev took the camera Rani brought with her and started taking our pictures when we walked outside.

"One couple photo please." Rani said.

We both looked straight at each other and nodded to the request together and moved close with my arm over her shoulders and her leaning on me.

After a few photos, we agreed to go home. First, we will be going to the Janice house to pick up her luggage and then to mine.

We reached her house and walked inside to see her parents sitting on the couch. They both looked at us shocked and slowly got up.

"What is this?" Uncle asked.

"He is Adithya. And I got married." She replied and walked away towards some room, making me be the bait for them.

"What is this, Ben? What are we hearing? How can she do this?" Aunty asked Ben.

"Don't worry, Aunty. I will take care of her." I said not knowing what else to say.

"Does your parent knows about this?" Uncle asked.

"No! But they will soon. Don't worry." I replied, nodding.

"We will not accept to this." He said and sat on the couch frowning.

"I will not hurt her Uncle." I said, and that's all I can say.

"Adithya! Meet Abby and my sweet little niece." I heard Janice's voice and saw her entering the room holding two bags.

"So you are Adithya? Ok hurt her then my husband will deal with you." Her Bhabhi said.

"Sure!" I replied nodding and took hold of the Janice's bags.

"Take care of yourselves both of you, and I will be visiting you guys in the middle from college, so don't worry." Janice said like everything is normal, and we both walked outside.

I hanged one bag on the side of the bike, and she held the other in her arms. I drove us towards my... I mean, our house.

"House is big." She said, and I shrugged.

"My Dad's house." I said, and she nodded.

I stopped her from entering the house and called for my parents. Within a few minutes, they stood before us with same shock expressions.

"What is the meaning of this Adithya?" Dad asked in anger tone.

"We both got married. Meet Janice." I replied, copying her words.

"How can you do this without telling your parents?" Mom asked.

"I asked for the consent, even yesterday night Mom. Now we are married, and that's all. Now will you give Aarthi and welcome us?" I asked her.

"I will not allow you into my house." Dad said.

"Ok!" I said kind of expecting a little and started leaving to return when they cool down.

"He doesn't mean it. Don't leave the house." Mom said, and I nodded at her.

"But I will not welcome her. This is not done with our consent." She added, and they both walked away making me frown.

"I am sorry! I thought she would do that ritual for sure." I said looking at Janice.

"One second." She said and closed her eyes for two minutes mumbled something inside with only lip moment.

"Now we can step inside. I prayed for us so don't worry." She said smiling, and I smiled back.

It is already late night, so I asked her if she is hungry, but she said she is not so I directly walked us towards the room which I changed into and made it mine.

"This is guest room, but I made it mine." I said, and she nodded.

"You can unpack tomorrow, but for now freshen up. You must be tired." I added.

"Yeah! That is true." She said and took some dress and walked inside the washroom.

I got freshen up in another room when I still put my dresses, but couldn't shift them as I changed the room one week back and got busy with work.

When I walked in our room, I saw her walking towards the bed. We both nodded and lay down on the different sides of the bed.

"Good night." I said switching off the light.

"Good night." She said, and we both drifted off into sleep.
