Chapter Eighteen: The Portal

Emlyn looked at the tiles and realized they seemed to form a picture. She carefully placed the tiles like she was creating a puzzle. The tiles formed to everyone's surprise a picture of her as queen. The portal began to glow with a brilliant golden light. Then it opened and on the other side there was the fairytale world.

Camilla began to stir awake, and Emlyn quickly grabbed a hold of her. "So long Cam, till we meet again." She threw her into the portal and watched her disappear. The pocket watch then hit zero as she did and self-combusted.

Emlyn then turned back to her friends and Mystic quickly hugged her, "We'll miss you Emlyn. Come back and visit us." Mystic went through the portal, and they watched her transform back into a unicorn. Mystic then grew wings and completed her truest purest form. The alicorn form. She flew off to attend to her subjects bidding them all a tender goodbye.

Sarah was next to say goodbye to Emlyn, "You will be missed dear, and yes please come visit." She kissed Emlyn's cheek and headed through the portal where she waited on the other side for Bob.

"You should come back for a bit and say goodbye to Horrace." Bob told her and Emlyn agreed.

So, for one last time she entered the portal into the fairytale realm. They headed for the castle where Horrace awaited them.

"Dear Emlyn, it's nice to see you." He said and Emlyn smiled gently.

"I wanted to come say goodbye Horrace, after all I couldn't have done any of this without you." She told him and he chuckled.

"Don't worry we will meet again. Am I bidding you a goodbye to Stella?" Horrace asked and she nodded.

"Yes, I'm going to stay with Emlyn." He nodded in agreeance.

"Good, you will play a major part in what's next to come. Be on alert and trust your judgement Stella." He told her and after a long bittersweet goodbye, Emlyn and Stella proceeded back to the portal.

Unbeknownst to them Camilla had returned to her leader and informed her of the events. "I'm sorry, but I'm sure there's another way!" Camilla said and the person nodded.

"Indeed, there is, I've sent someone through the portal. We will let her follow the careful instructions and then proceed." They said and Camilla nodded.

"Who did you send through?" She asked and the person looked at them with a devious smile.

"Of course, the daughter of Michelle and Hades." They responded and Camilla smiled.

"The daughter of the god of the underworld, and the devil herself. Perfect."

Emlyn and Stella reached the portal and headed through. "Now what do we do?" Stella asked her.

"It's time to fix the world. There's a lot to cover, but with the help of my best friend, we can do anything." Emlyn smiled.

"Yeah, we sure can." The two teleported to the White House with the ring to start the beginning of the new world.
