The next day Nick was the first one to wake up once he did he looked over to see Athena still sleeping. Nick checked his phone to see if his team needed him and they did there were about 20 messages from Bishop asking where he was and why he wasn't answering his phone. Nick got dressed left a note for Athena just saying that he had to leave for work and that he will text her later to see if she's up.

AT THE CRIME SCENE

"Sorry I'm late what did I miss?" asked Nick "You missed a lot Nick but I'm sure Bishop can catch you up on what's going on" said Gibbs. After Bishop caught Nick up to speed the team continue to investigate the crime scene. "What do we got Palmer" asked Gibbs "Well I won't know much until I get him back to autopsy but from what I can gather he has blunt force trauma to the head. On the left side of his rib cage, he got stabbed with some sort of knife can't tell you what kind it is." Palmer described to the team "TOD" (time of death in case y'all didn't know) is what Gibbs wanted to know "About 23 hours ago"
