Next morning

Athena woke up from the couch that she slept on she got up and went to check on Abby to see if she was still here which she was so Athena just went back towards the couch turned on her computer and pulled up the records again while she was going through them she heard Abby walking by "Have you been up all night?" "No I just woke up" "What are you looking at" "My family house" "You mean the one that got robbed?" "Yeah" "Find anything?" "Just this so far" Athena hands Abby the picture of a watch "So what it's just a watch everyone wears them" "Not my parents they had older ones this watch is a newer model and look it had a number in it I thought I can give it to McGee and see if he can work his magic" "Here let me" "You sure it's early for you?" "Yes I am sure" Athena moves over for Abby so she can look up where the watch was made at.

Few seconds past

"Found it" "Where?" "About 2 blocks from here" "Thank you Abby" Athena hugs Abby and gets up to change her clothes when she was done she comes out in a leather jacket, white T-shirt, leather short skirt, cheetah heels, and red lipstick.

"Why you going like that?" asked Abby  "Undercover" replied Athena "Oh really" "Yeah why not" "Don't you just think that its a little to much" Athena looks down at her outfit "No anyway I'll be right back before you leave" "Hope you got something to protect yourself incase something bad happens to you" Athena pulls out a pocket knife "Got it covered I'll see you later Abby" "Later Athena" Athena left out the front door and went to the place that Abby found where the watch came from but what Athena didn't know was that Abby had called Gibbs to tell him that Athena went alone. Athena finally made it to the watch store with Gibbs behind her he came right up to her put his hand on her lower back and whispers into her ear letting her know that it's just him "What are you doing here Athena?" "Work" "Really cause it looks like you are just looking for the guys that robbed your family" "Well I'm undercover" "Abby told me that you found something do you maybe want to tell me what that was" Athena pulls out the folded up picture from her purse and slips it to Gibbs "This was found at my family's house my parents only wore old watches this is a newer model so I asked Abby if she can trace that number once she did it led me here is that enough for you" "Next time don't go alone that's how you get yourself killed" "Got it" "Do you have a plan?" "Yes I do" "Not anymore follow my lead" Gibbs goes up to the check out with the picture in hand "How can I help you?" said the check out girl "We were wondering if you still have this type of watch?" Gibbs hands the girl the picture and once she saw it her eyes got real big. "Let me check in the back" the girl left "Gibbs did you see that?" "Yes I did just wait" a few minutes past and the check out girl came back "I'm sorry we don't have that watch anymore" "You sure" said Athena "Yes I am sure" "Your lying" "No I am not lying we are out of the Lexington silver-tone watch" "We never said what the Brand was" the girl just looked at Gibbs scared she was about to run but Athena was too quick for her she pulled out the gun that was on Gibbs and pointed it at her.

"Don't move" the girl put her hands up in the air Gibbs went behind her to cuff her once she was cuffed they took her back to NCIS headquarters where they can talk to her "Tell me what you know about this watch?" "I'm not saying anything without my lawyer" "Hey Gibbs I will bet you 10 bucks that I can get her to talk alone" Athena looks at Gibbs with her eyebrows raised "Your on" Gibbs shakes her hand as in saying it's a deal "But don't kill her" Athena puts her hand over her heart to pretend that she was hurt "I would never" Gibbs smiles and walks out of the room with the folder he had brought into the room once he left Athena looked at the girl  she didn't say anything at first she was just staring at the girl "It's Brittany right?" Brittany nods her head yes "See my boss thinks that I can't talk to you right without killing you and I think he's right but let's get down to business shall we where were you on the night of march 11th in 2000 at 10pm?" "I was with a group of friends" "No you weren't" "What do you mean? no I wasn't how do you know where I was at?" "Because your body language it says it all and right now it tells me that you are lying so I am going to ask you again where were you on March 11th in 2000 at 10pm?" Brittany was silent looking right at Athena. Athena had enough of it so she  got up and walked behind Brittany and put her in a chock hold she wasn't going to kill her she was just trying to make Brittany think that she was "Answer the question" "Alright I'll talk" Athena let go of Brittany and walked back to her chair "I was with my boyfriend Jack and his friends" "Where did you go?" "To this house on 7th street we broke in once we were in Sam that was Jack's that was one of his friends name shot up the house trying to scare the people who owned the house when he did he pointed the gun towards the man of the house" Athena pulls out her phone and pulls up a picture of her family and shows it to the girl "Was this the guy of the house?" Brittany looks at the picture and shakes her head yes "What else happened?" "Sam told the guy to grab the money from the safe when he wouldn't get up from the group Sam shot him in the right shoulder when he did that out came a little girl in her PJ's with a teddy bear in her hands she came out to see what had happened when she came out Jack pulled the little girl away from her father the little girl was crying and so was I.

Sam told the guy again to go get the money from the safe or he will shoot the mother and child the guy got up holding his shoulder so he wouldn't bleed out a few minutes past and he came back with a bag full of money from the safe" Brittany was in tears "What happened next?" "When we got the money Sam said that we shouldn't have any witnesses so he gave the bag of money to Jack and I and went back into the house and shot the family" "Well he missed one" "Who?" "Me" Athena got up she was real mad and jumped over the table and tackled Brittany to the ground she was so mad she didn't know "That was my family did any of you every think what that little girl would have to go through without her parents huh did you answer me" Brittany was crying Athena was about the punch her that was until someone came in and grabbed her by her waist lifting her up into the air and carried her outside of the interrogation room "Let go of me I have to do it" "No you don't" it was Nick who took her away from the interrogation room "Nick you better let me go" "Or what huh you'll kill me yeah I've heard that one before" "You don't get it I have to do it" "Do what, what do you have to do?" "I have to kill her for what she and those boys had done to my parents I have to do this please let me go" "No I will not let you go" Nick just took her into another interrogation room he put her down once she was down he shut the door and left to go on the other side of the glass window. Few minutes past and Gibbs came in "How is she holding up?" "Not good she has been in that corner for the last hours since I brought her in there" "It's for her own good" "Did you see how she lashed out onto that girl today she can really kill someone Gibbs what are we going to do? we can't keep her in here she will go mad" "I'll talk to her" Gibbs walks out of the room and goes to talk to Athena in the other room.

Gibbs walks in the interrogation room

Athena just sits in the corner with her head between her legs

Gibbs went and sat next to her "How are you holding up Athena?" Athena just cries she couldn't say anything at all "I don't know exactly what you are going through but I will tell you this my wife and my little girl were killed by a guy when I found out I hunt that guy down and killed him with my sniper riffle" Athena picks her head up and looks at Gibbs with tears in her eyes "Abby told me something like that I'm sorry for your lost" "Thank you" "How did you handle it when you found out just before you shot that guy?" "I was angry" "Me too I wanted to find the person that did this to me and my family and I didn't stop until they were dead or in jail" Gibbs just nods his head "Do you have a place to stay at for the night?" "Yeah I do" "Where?" "Abby gave me her house so I can stay there" "Not alone you won't" "Why the hell not?" "After what just happened I would rather if you stayed with someone" "Gibbs I'm not going to go out in the middle of the night and hunt these guys down with a sniper riffle" Gibbs just looked at her. Athena got up from her spot and left the room with Gibbs not to far behind her "Athena get back here!" Athena keeps walking out all the way out of the building.
