Chapter Thirty-Two: A Gift From Mother

Malia's Pov

Things have been very great, I'll tell you that.

Ever since Wyatt and I got back together everything seems to be going back to how they were before and I love it.

Although, there was only one downside.

When Wyatt and I revealed to Missy and Dale that we were back together their reactions weren't really what I was expecting.

Dale was still angry at Wyatt for breaking my heart and wasn't too happy when he learned that we got back together.

Missy was upset but she said that as long as I was happy and made sure that Wyatt wouldn't  hurt me again, she was fine with it.

I was surprised by their reaction but at the same time I understand why they reacted that way.

Missy and Dale have told me countless of times that they consider me as their daughter.

They love me the same way they love Addison.

When Wyatt broke my heart they were angry and wanted to kill him, in Dale's case, but they were still there for me and comforted me alongside Addison.

They weren't too happy about us getting back together because they were scared that I would end up getting hurt again.

They don't want me to go through that pain again.

I had to remind them that although Wyatt hurt me badly, I still love him and he loves me.

Even after what happened the day we broke up I don't think I ever stopped loving him.

And he never stopped loving me.

It's like my parents always told Audrey and I when growing up.

Relationships aren't easy, there will be fights and disagreements and sometimes we might take a break from each other.

But, at the end of the day, if you two love each other and trust each other then you'll make it work and find your way back to each other.

And that's what happened with Wyatt and I.

We fought and we broke up, losing each other as well as ourselves.

But, we soon found our way back to each other, and now look at where we are.

We're back together and we're happy again.

And we're not letting each other go ever again.

Missy and Dale understood and accepted that we were a couple again.

Although, I did let out an exasperated sigh when Dale threatened to hurt Wyatt if he broke my heart again.

Classic Dale.

Anyway, moving on from that.

Apparently I learned from Willa that Wynter and Elena have been spending alot of time together.

I was honestly surprised at their sudden friendship because they barely talked let alone hung out.

But from what Elena has told me she enjoys Wynter's company and is happy to have a friend like her in her life.

And while I'm happy for her and Wynter, I'm also a little suspicious.

Mainly because whenever those two are together they always blush and get all mushy around each other.

And don't even get me started on the constant flirting.

It's cute and all but sometimes it can get a bit much.

Especially with the constant nickname they have for each other.

Is it wrong of me to feel a bit jealous that I only got one nickname from Elena yet she comes up with multiple for Wynter?

I mean, come on, all I got from Elena was 'cutie' which isn't a bad name.

But Wynter gets much more than I did.

Hyper wolf, sweet wolf, cute smile, my bold wolf, lovely and so much more.

I love that Wynter gets all of that and I just got one.

Favoritism, I swear.

Honestly, I sound like an idiot right now.

Getting mad about a nickname when I already get some from my lovely boyfriend.

Someone please smack me upside the head for getting jealous about that.

I feel like I deserve it.

Anyways, back to reality.

I was currently outside in the backyard, working on the garden and taking care of the flowers.

Missy and Dale were at work, Addison and Zed were out on a date and Wyatt had to attend some meeting at the werewolf den.

But he promised to be here as soon as the meeting was over.

Emily was currently sitting at the table, drawing something.

I love working in the garden and taking care of the flowers. It's something Audrey and I did with our mom and grammy when we were kids.

Those were great memories.

"Mommy!" Emily yelled.

I snapped out of my thoughts and turned around when I saw Emily running towards me.

I smiled and held my hands out and Emily immediately grabbed them as she was now in front of me.

"What's the matter, princess?" I asked.

"I just finished my drawing. Want you to see" Emily giggled.

I smiled softly at her and took the drawing from her as she handed it to me.

I let out a coo when I saw that she had drawn a picture of me, her and Wyatt.

"Aww, princess, I love it. It's beautiful" I softly smiled.

"Just like you, mommy" Emily grinned.

My heart melted and I felt my eyes watering slightly.

I held onto the picture and brought my daughter into a hug, one that she easily returned.

"I love you, princess. So much" I whispered.

"I love you more, mommy" Emily whispered back.

I swear to god I've been blessed with such an angel and I'm so grateful to have her as my daughter.

I love her more than anything and I would do anything to keep her happy.

All of a sudden a bright light shines in our direction, causing me to open my eyes and furrow my eyebrows together.

The bright light remains there for a few seconds before it finally disappears.

My eyebrows furrow more together when I see a black box with a white ribbon. Along with a letter in front of it.

"What is that, mommy?" Emily asked, curious.

"That's what I would like to know too" I frowned.

I stood up from the ground and walked over to the box.

I narrowed my eyes at it before picking up the letter.

I opened the envelope and took out the letter. I unfolded the paper and began reading it out loud.

Dear, Malia
How are you, my sweet girl? I hope you're doing well and you're enjoying your new life in Seabrook. I haven't told anyone, let alone Ben, about where you are. I won't allow anyone, especially that worthless ex-boyfriend of yours, to ruin your happiness. But, enough about that. I'm writing this letter to let you know that I miss you so much and I hope that when the time comes, you'll visit us. I'd love to hug my daughter in person. And I'd love to meet my granddaughter very soon. Speaking of my granddaughter, the black box contains her gift that I got for her. I hope she loves it. I sadly must go now, but always remember how much I love and miss you. Continue being happy and I hope we can see each other soon. I love you, my sweet girl. Take care and be safe.
- Love, your mother

My eyes watered and tears streamed down my cheeks as a smile appeared on my face.

It's been so long since I've last seen my mother and I miss her more than anything.

I miss her, my dad, my sister, my grammy and my friends.

But, I'm not ready to come home just yet, I still need time before I can return.

I'm just happy that mom hasn't told anyone where I am. The last thing I want is to get dragged home.

And, it's so cute that she got Emily a gift.

"Mommy, are you ok?" Emily asked, worried.

"Oh, don't worry, princess. Mommy is fine. But, do you want to know something?" I asked.

Emily frowned but nodded her head.

"This gift is for you. It's from your grandmother, my mother" I softly smiled.

I watched as her big eyes widened more as a gasp escaped her lips.

"Really?!" Emily yelled, her eyes gleaming in utter delight.

I laughed at her reaction and nodded my head, causing her to gleam even more.

I set the letter down and grabbed the box. I untied the ribbon before opening the box.

A gasp escaped my lips as I was soon meet with the sight of a beautiful necklace.

Oh my god...

It's so beautiful...it's perfect for Emily.

Mom did an amazing job at picking out this gift for my daughter.

"Look, princess. It's a necklace" I turned to my daughter.

Emily rushed to my side and the second she laid her eyes on the necklace, her eyes widened more.

"Wow" Emily breathed out.

"Do you like it princess?" I asked.

"I love it. And it's all mine?" Emily asked, turning to look at me.

"Yep, it's all yours. Do you want me to put it on?" I asked.

Emily grinned and nodded her head rapidly, causing me to laugh and shake my head at her.

I turned her around and took the necklace out of the box. I put it around my daughters neck and made sure it was clasped right.

I smiled and turned Emily around to face me.

I took my phone out and went to the camera. I showed Emily herself through the camera and a smile painted her face as she stared at the necklace in awe.

"I love it, mommy. Grandma is so nice" Emily smiled.

"She is. And when the time comes, when we see her person, you have to thank her and tell her how much you love it. Deal?" I asked.

"Deal!" Emily yelled.

She jumped up and down before throwing herself into my arms, burying her head into my chest.

I laughed softly and hugged her back as I placed a kiss to her head.

Late At Night

Emily and I spent the rest of the day together. Either watching movies or playing a few board games.

We ate lunch and dinner together and had a few snacks.

Missy and Dale texted me and said that they would be returning a little late.

Addison called me and told me that she was going to stay at Zed's house so she can hang with Zoey and cuddled her boyfriend when it's time for bed.

Emily and I had a fun day today together, although I wish Wyatt had been here so the three of us could have fun.

When Emily had fallen asleep during one of the movies I changed her into her pajamas and got her into bed.

I made sure she was tucked in comfortably.

I leaned down and placed a kiss to Emily's forehead, gently running my fingers through her hair.

"Sleep well, princess" I whispered.

With that, I turned off the light and quietly left her room so she could sleep.

I made sure to close the door just as quietly as I left, not wanting to wake up my daughter from her sleep.

A gasp escaped my lips when a hand was placed on my shoulder and I was turned around.

I only calmed down when I saw that it was Wyatt.

"Don't do that, you scared the crap out of me!" I hissed at him.

Wyatt chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck, a little bit sheepishly for that matter.

"Sorry, baby. I knocked and the door was opened so I just let myself in" Wyatt said.

I huffed slightly but nodded.

"Is Emily asleep?" Wyatt asked.

"Yep. My little princess is out like a light, she was exhausted after today" I giggled.

"Our little princess" Wyatt corrected, playfully glaring at me.

Wyatt has always considered Emily as his daughter and it always warms my heart.

It makes it even better because Emily considers Wyatt as her father.

I swear to god when she called him 'dad' Wyatt was crying so much and hugging her so tightly, thinking she was going to disappear.

"Right, our little princess" I fondly rolled my eyes.

Wyatt chuckled before letting out a sigh.

"I'm sorry I didn't get here sooner. The meeting took longer than I expected. It was a pain" Wyatt rolled his eyes.

"As long as you're here, that's all that matters" I smiled.

"But I swear if you had been there when it ended you would've been laughing like an idiot, like me" Wyatt chuckled.

"Why? What happened?" I asked in curiosity.

"The second the meeting was over Wynter practically flew herself out of the cave. She ended up hitting her head, a bit hard, but nothing too serious" Wyatt explained.

As soon as he was done he burst out laughing, holding himself up by placing his hand on the wall.

I giggled before that soon turned into laughter and I leaned my back against the wall.

I can just imagine it right now. That's what makes it even more funnier.

Wynter does know how to make someone laugh and I love her for that.

Finally, when we both calmed down, I turned to my boyfriend and raised my eyebrow at him.

"Any reason why she was in such a rush to leave?" I asked.

"Yes. She wanted to say goodbye to Elena before she got on the airport to leave" Wyatt said.

Oh, right, I almost forgot.

Elena leaves for the airport today so she can return home to her parents.

And given how close her and Wynter have gotten these last few days, she's not going to let her leave without saying goodbye in person.

"Aw, that's sweet" I cooed softly.

"It is" Wyatt smiled softly.

"I still am waiting for the moment those two get together. They would make an amazing couple" I grinned.

"We all want them together. Well, Willa isn't too happy with the idea, but she doesn't want to upset Wynter so she tolerates it" Wyatt shrugged.

Yeah, it's fair to say that Willa still doesn't like Elena.

She was even more upset when she saw Wynter and Elena getting closer than ever, but she only tolerates it for the sake of Wynter's happiness.

After all, everyone deserves a special someone in their life.

"But they would make a cute couple"

"Cute, maybe. Hot, given the amount of flirting they do, yes" Wyatt nodded.

I snorted at that but nodded in agreement.

After all, it was true.

Wyatt hummed before placing his hands on the sides of my neck.

I looked up at him and smiled, one that he immediately returned.

He leaned in and placed his lips onto mine. I hummed and kissed him back.

We pulled away from the kiss and pressed our foreheads together.

"God, I love you so much" Wyatt whispered.

"Not as much as I love you" I whispered back.

We smiled at each other before we resumed to what we were previously doing.

Only, it began to grow more passionately, our hands began to roam each other's bodies up and down.

Wyatt licked my bottom lip and I let him in, moaning as he deepened the kiss.

My hands up to his hair and I tugged at it, smirking as he moaned.

His hands went down to my thighs and he lifted me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist and placed my hands onto his shoulders, gripping them tightly.

We pulled away from the kiss, breathing heavily, as we stared at each other.

Wyatt smiled and pressed his forehead onto mine.

"Bedroom?" Wyatt asked.

"Please" I softly whined.

I took his ear into my mouth, biting it gently as I listened to his moans and groans of pleasure.

I pulled away from his ear and went down to his neck, earning a gasp and more moans.

"You drive me insane and I love it" Wyatt whispered.

With that, he turned around and started walking into the direction of my bedroom.

We made it to the bed and our clothes went flying to the ground. When we were both bare we got under the covers and continue our night of passion as we normally would.

I love him so much and, despite what happened, I'm glad to have him by my side.

Nothing nor nobody could separate us. Never.
