Neville Longbottom's POV:

I fidget with my hair again.

I finally close my Potions textbook, knowing that no amount of cramming is enough to make me ace the test tomorrow when I'm not at all interested in it...

I give up and shrug it off, because I know enough to pass, and leave it at that.

I walk up to the mirror on the wall and ask who's the fairest of them all.

No, I'm just kidding!!

I check out my hair and pat it back to its usual style.

Unsatisfied, I bring it back up, and the hair war begins...

I keep going at it until someone crashes into the dorm.

I turn around to see that it's Ron.

"Well, hello, mate!! Aren't you going to dinner??" he asks.

I look at the big clock on the wall and realize it's time for dinner.

"Well, I am going now..." I reply.

I try one last time to set my hair properly.

It doesn't work out, so I just ditch my attempts for a woolen hat.

I'm a little nervous about meeting Luna today, 'cause this is our first meal together.

Nevertheless, I'm so glad she took the initiative to write me a letter!!

And Madam Puddifoot's was just magical!!

And the way her face lit up when I told her it was my privilege to listen to her was so beautiful.

Her kilowatt smile lit up her entire beautiful face!!

She calls me Nev, which is so cute, and now, it just feels like the entire world is calling me Nev!!

I realized after we came back to Hogwarts that I felt the way I did (and feel the way I do) because she's my world...

I really hope we can keep this going for a long time...

I reach the hall for dinner and locate Luna.

She seems to be searching for someone with concern writ large on her face.

When her eyes meet mine, her face completely empties of any emotion for a second.

Then a huge smile fills it up and she calls out to me.

I walk over to her and greet her.

We sit down, facing our backs to our respective house tables.

And then we talk and have an incredible meal...
