The envelope pulled him to it with a force stronger than gravity.....

His fingers trembled as he picked up the envelope and tore the envelope open in his clumsiness. He sighed and carefully opened the sheet in it.

The sheet read:

"Dear Neville, "

Neville's heart skipped a beat as he realized it was Luna's handwriting.

He shook his head to clear it and read the letter.

"Dear Neville,

Ever since I saw you, I have loved you. I fell into your net of love and I can't get out of it, forever (I don't want to, either). I have never loved anyone so much this way. Recently, I noticed that you always turn the other way whenever I see you, or I catch you seeing me. I have come to the conclusion that you do love me, even if only infinitesimally. I also realized that you are probably too shy to tell me. Therefore, I will venture forward. I love you a lot, Neville; I hope you feel the same.

P.S., Beware of Nargles, they're very common in your dorm"

Neville felt like the luckiest person in the whole wide world!

He hadn't the slightest idea what Nargles were.......

He would ask her when he would see her the following morning, a Hogshead weekend.

He wrote the letter he had to to his Gran.

That night, his dreams featured flying mandrakes and a delighted Luna.....
