"Hi everyone!" Viessa exclaimed, while everyone took their seats. "I've never been so glad to see you guys again." Everyone smiled at her waiting for her to continue with the plan for today.

"Today is going to be a day of investigating. Be ready to get dirty" Viessa warned them. "We will go with our assigned groups to investigate. Write down every little detail you see so we can use them later."

"Perfect," Ashryn grinned. "I'm ready to get started!"

If Ashryn was ready then everyone else would be ready too. Viessa smiled and spoke softly, "Okay, and don't forget to get back here for lunch at around 1. After lunch we can just continue investigating again."

"Thanks for reminding me about lunch. I forgot all about it!" Aymon grinned and everyone laughed. Now that the tension between them was gone it felt much better when Viessa spoke.

"Ashryn! Aymon! Here's your leaping crystal," Viessa took out the leaping crystal from her pocket and handed it to Ashryn. "Oh, and here's the notebook and pencil to record stuff."

Ashryn took Aymon's hand and they both lept to Alden's death scene.

"So. . ." Raverie started looking at her and Kieran after the other two left.

"What?" Kieran asked.

"Nothing," Raverie said, a bit too quickly.

"Okay?" Kieran looked suspiciously at her and turned to Viessa. "Why don't we too get started on investigating?"

"Come on then," Viessa said, grabbing Kieran's hand. Raverie took Kieran's hands grumbling something under her breath. Viessa ignored Raverie and raised the crystal into the light which took them directly to Alina's death scene.

Kieran gasped loudly when he took a look at the blood that was left. Raverie just looked at him weirdly and walked near the body. Kieran looked at Viessa and when their eyes met Viessa knew that Kieran wanted to tell her something. Viessa shook her head and Kieran nodded back like he understood.

"I can't stand you two!" Raverie told them, throwing her hands up in the air.

"What?" Kieran asked her.

"Nothing little brother, nothing." Raverie said with a loud sigh.

"Oh right," Viessa said. "You guys are siblings."

"You forgot that?" Kieran asked, his face was filled with shock.

"Uh. . . yeah." Viessa said, embarrassed. "You guys look nothing like each other and you guys don't act anything like each other. It's easy to forget."

"Oh, sure." Raverie rolled her eyes and then she gave them a pointed look. "See this is what I mean."

"Mean what?" Viessa asked her, confused.

"Nothing," Raverie shook her head hard.

Viessa and Kieran looked at each other. What was going on with Raverie?

"Well, I'm going to go investigate the surrounding area and leave you to do the dirty work," Raverie told them and she walked off in a random direction.

Once Raverie was gone Kieran started speaking quietly. "When I gasped after seeing the blood, did you see the look my sister gave me? It looked like she had already seen this place before me."

"What if she has seen it before?" Viessa asked him quietly.

"I don't think that's possible though," Kieran mumbled. He looked away.

"Ok, why don't we just look around for a while," Viessa suggested.

Kieran nodded and turned around to look at the place surrounding them. Viessa turned to do the same, but this time something white caught her eye. She gasped as she walked toward it. Maybe she hadn't investigated the area properly while she was with the Black Swan.

"Hey!" Ashryn greeted them. They were back for lunch and while they ate their plan was to discuss anything they found.

"Hi Ashryn! Did you and Aymon get us anything to eat?" Viessa asked.

"Yeah!" Aymon pumped his fist in the air.

Everyone grabbed a plateful of what Ashryn and Aymon brought. They ate in silence for the first few minutes.

"What did you guys find?" Aymon asked, breaking the silence.

"I didn't find anything," Raverie told them quickly. Everyone looked at each other.

"Ok, well Kieran and I found a broken white plate," Viessa told them. We'll show it to you after we finish eating."

"A BROKEN WHITE PLATE!" Aymon exclaimed. Viessa glanced at Ashryn who had the same look of surprise on her face.

"What?" Kieran asked.

"We found a broken white plate too!" Ashryn's eyes widened.

"Did it have a small bird pattern on it?" Kieran asked them.

"Yeah, it did!" Aymon told them.

"Broken plates with a bird pattern," Raverie mumbled suspiciously.

"Maybe these plates have something to do with the jewelry Kaylessa found!" Viessa exclaimed, ignoring Raverie.

"Wait, Kaylessa found jewelry?" The others looked at Viessa surprised.

"Oh, I forgot that you guys didn't know about it yet. Kaylessa will tell you later I think," Viessa said.

"Oh, ok," everyone but Raverie replied. Viessa looked over at Raverie who was looking at her.

"What?" Viessa asked her.

"I want to see the jewelry Kaylessa found," Raverie told her.

"Why don't you ask Kaylessa herself? It was her mom's jewelry and she probably wants to keep it safe," Viessa said to her.

"Oh, alright," Raverie said. Viessa noticed her getting a bit angry.

Viessa shoved the last bite of food into her mouth and got up.

"Wait, we brought dessert!" Aymon told her, taking out a box of custard bursts.

Viessa grinned. Aymon always thought of the best things. Viessa stretched her arm and grabbed the biggest custard burst in the box. She noticed Kieran doing the same.

"Yum," Viessa said, taking a big bite. She saw Aymon take a look at Ashryn.

"What?" she asked them. It looked like they were hiding something. They looked away and didn't answer.

Everyone finished eating and Viessa went to open the bag which she put the broken plate in. Suddenly she heard Aymon start laughing hysterically. Ashryn was laughing too but not as much as Aymon was. Even Raverie was trying not to laugh.

She followed their gazes to see Kieran's hair. She gasped, her eyes widening.

"Kieran! You hair!" she yelled. Kieran's usual black hair was now bright green with spikes.

She followed as Kieran ran into her bathroom. Once Kieran noticed his hair he started whining.

"My hair, Viessa! Look what they did to it!" he whined. Viessa grinned even though she knew she shouldn't be.

"Stop grinning," Kieran told her. "What if they did it to your hair?"

"Oh, come on." Viessa said. "It's only for one day and plus it looks nice."

"Nice?" Kieran glared while he reached up to touch his spiky green hair.

"Yeah, nice," Viessa grinned, running out of the bathroom and back to where she was sitting. Aymon was still laughing hysterically.

"Aymon, that's enough!" Viessa told him.

"Enough? I have only started!" Aymon cried.

"Aymon!" Viessa glared at him.

"Fine, Vi-vi!" Aymon said.

"Shut up, please," Viessa told him.

Aymon grinned, "Fine, Vi-vi!"

Viessa sighed as Kieran walked back into the room clutching his hair.

"When will it go back to normal?" he asked Aymon.

"In two days," Aymon replied, acting all innocent.

"TWO DAYS!" Kieran shouted.

Aymon nodded, grinning. "This is why you don't mess with the master!"

"Shut it, will you!" Kieran glared.

"Ok, we're done arguing." Ashryn told them. "Why don't we show each other what the plates look like?"

Viessa took out the broken plate as Ashryn did the same. Raverie came closer to the plates and looked at them. Viessa exchanged a look with Kieran.

"The plates are the exact same!" Ashryn said.

"Yep," Viessa agreed.

Everyone looked at Raverie who was wiping the broken plates with a cloth.

"What?" Raverie asked when she saw everyone looking.

"Nothing," Kieran mumbled. Viessa could tell Kieran was very suspicious of his sister. Viessa was also very suspicious of her.

"Okay," Raverie told them and for the rest of the day she spent her time looking closely at the broken plates while the rest of them actually did something useful.
