Tieing The Knot

Haider went out for fresh air avoiding everyone. He needed sanity, which he was lacking after the heated encounter with Tehreem. He knew what she was saying was the truth and he did everything in just anger with no sense. He wanted to break things to vent the frustration with reality.

He calmed himself down, he took some deep breaths. He sat in the chair and put on some music to calm down, he felt better and sleepy. He slowly walked into his dark room with light only from a table lamp. He saw the mess he created.

He noticed Tehreem in comfortable clothes sleeping peacefully. He took some comfortable clothes and changed. He slept in the sofa uncomfortably. He sighed in frustration. The uncomfortable situation with the thoughts running in his mind was not helping him sleep.

"She's sleeping peacefully after ruining my sleep" mumbled Haider in frustration.

He saw her hand falling out of bed, He did not have anything to do so he kept her back on the bed. The lamp's light fell on her hand, and he saw red markings of his handprint on her hand and felt bad.

"That hurts you know" he remembered her words

He tossed back in the Sofa and after a while darkness consumed him. His sleep was not for that long, He was woken by the buzzing of his phone, it was a call from Nick, and he declined it. He decided to wake up.

He stood up and he saw Tehreem sleeping peacefully in the bed. Her phone started to ring, and she woke up, He averted his eyes from her and walked away. She offed her Alarm and stretched while Haider escaped to the washroom. Tehreem opened her suitcase and took out essentials.

"Good morning" said Tehreem when Haider came out

"Morning" said Haider

"Grumpy much, didn't get good sleep?" asked Tehreem taunting Haider, Haider walked away, and Tehreem chuckled.

She went to the Washroom and changed into a Salwar suit to fit into the newlywed Bride setting, she put on some Kajal and tinted lip balm. Tehreem took her phone and called her parents, she saw a handful of texts from Areeka, she left it in Seen without even reading.

"I was coming to call you, you are new to here and Haider just leaves you in here to get lost, I've no idea what would become of him" said Sarah as soon as Tehreem left the room and met her. Tehreem chuckled.

"I Guess he isn't a morning person" said Tehreem with a chuckle

"That's true," said Sarah

"Then it makes us two" said Tehreem with a smile.

They both came downstairs and saw Hina micromanaging everything since it was the first Breakfast after Haider's Marriage, Hina smiled as soon as she saw Tehreem and came towards her.

"You look beautiful and Hope you liked the suit" said Hina

"I love it so much, it's so beautiful, thank you" said Tehreem complimenting Hina's gift for her.

"No Thank You's, it's a small gift for my daughter and it suits you beautifully" said Hina and put some of her Kajal behind Tehreem's ear.

"The breakfast would be served in 2 minutes so why don't you go and take a seat" said Hina and Tehreem nodded.

They went to the dining room and Haider was sitting engaged on his phone. Sarah told the seating arrangements, Sarah made Tehreem sit across Haider and beside Sarah. Tehreem sat there reluctantly; she saw him stealing a glace. He kept his phone aside when Hina walked in with Saaz.

"What would you want to eat?" asked Hina

"Anything works" said Tehreem with a smile and Hina served Tehreem the food, all of them started eating their food.

Tehreem spends her day spending time with Hina and Sarah. Tehreem took a bit of her time in completing her assignments then called it a night. After Dinner with the family, she came back to the room and picked up pillows from the Bed trying to make the Couch comfortable for sleeping.

"Great! you are sleeping in the couch today" said Haider in relief, He was not in a mood to fight over it. He looked at his bed and saw half of His pillows disappeared.

"You're Too grumpy after giving up your bed so hopefully tomorrow you turn out not so grumpy because my parents would be around" said Tehreem with a taunting smile and got back to her phone.

Haider ignored her words and slept in his bed, after a bit Tehreem too slept. The morning rays fell on Haider because he forgot to close the curtains, He was annoyed and tossed around but his sleep was again disrupted by Tehreem's alarm.

"Rise and Shine Haider, I know you are awake" said Tehreem to annoy him more and Haider grunted and woke up.

"What's your issue, why can't you let me sleep peacefully? Yesterday a woke up earlier than you but I did not call and annoy you so you could at least show that decency," said Haider

"It's your wedding reception today and you need to go" said Tehreem rolling her eyes, she went into the washroom and did her works. She walked out to see Haider sleeping again and she smirked.

"Haider Khurrana" she screamed near his ears.

He opened his eyes and saw Tehreem close to his face, He looked straight in her eyes with annoyance, and she looked at him with a satisfied smile making him more annoyed. He was reconsidering his life decisions at that point.

It was evening and the time was ticking. Haider got dressed in his tuxedo and went up to call Tehreem for the functions. He saw Sarah walking out while he was a few steps away from his room. He slowly opened the door to see Tehreem standing and struggling with her dress.

"Sarah, at last you came that's a relief, please help me tie the strings in the back of the dress, I'm struggling so much" said Tehreem and Haider was reluctant in helping her

"Fast, or we'll be late" said Tehreem, Haider walked towards her, and the smell of her perfume was engulfing his lungs, He moved close to her to find the strings, he found them and started tying it.

"You know that I struggle with these strings, I told you that I'd need you to tie it when we brought it, I try to avoid these at every cost" said Tehreem, Haider slowly got married.

"Make it a bit tighter, this is too loose, and it will come off" said Tehreem and he removed the knot.

He was annoyed by that time; He decided tie the strings as tight as he could, and he knew that she would struggle a lot to untie it, but he was unbothered by it. He completed the knot, and it was very tight making her dress sticking to her body.

"I can't breathe, this is too tight" said Tehreem turning towards Haider, her breaths stop for a second seeing him. He looked at her, she had light made up on for the function, He could not help but admire her. The dress suited her, and it was sticking to her.

"Haider? where's Sarah? Ask her to untie this knot" said Tehreem and Haider gave her a questioning look

"Do you think that Sarah would be able to untie such a tight Knot" said Haider and Tehreem looked at all confused.

"I don't care who does it, just untie this because it's suffocating me badly, I don't want to die this soon so just untie this," said Tehreem

Tehreem turned and Haider too was struggling to untie the knot. He stood close to her to untie the tight knot; His nails were not doing the trick, so we used his teeth to pull the string and he was getting successful in it.

Tehreem could feel Haider's warm breath on her back which was giving her goosebumps. Haider successfully untied the knot and Tehreem took a deep breathe in relief. Haider was standing close to Tehreem and suddenly, the door opens.

"I haven't Seen anything" said Sarah slamming the door and both were embarrassed.

"Nothing is happening, just get in and help her" said Haider and Sarah slowly opened the door

"I haven't seen anything," said Sarah

"Yes, I know you haven't seen anything because nothing is happening to see" said Haider in an annoyed tone and Tehreem was controlling her smile. Haider was going to walk away from there.

"Haider" called out Tehreem......
