Written In Mehendi

Haider straightened his suit while getting out of the car, Sarah came out and stood next to her brother and smiled at him. Haider and his family walked in, Haider was asked to sit in the sofa laid out of the couple, they were waiting for Tehreem.

"Beautiful" he whispered inaudibly when he saw his to-be fiancé walk towards him. Tehreem was wearing a mint green and pink attire; messy bun looks and simple makeup. She sat next to Haider, and he looked at her, she looked at him with a smile which confused him.

"You're looking beautiful" said Haider in a flirtish way

"Thank you, you too" said Tehreem, Haider expected her to be annoyed and give him a back answer, but Tehreem surprised him with the compliment

"Just to check, you are fine right? Are you having fever or intoxicated? anything like that?" asked Haider and Tehreem chuckled. He looked at her confused while she controlled her laughter.

"You see my sister Areeka over there who is eavesdropping on our dialogues so hopefully now you get why I'm so nice to you, if you don't then you're simply dumb" said Tehreem whispering.

Haider looked at Tehreem's side and saw Areeka standing a but away from them, if they speak it would be audible to her. He understood what Tehreem was doing, He did not expect this from Tehreem.

To him, she seemed like a soft person but now seemed like a revengeful one. Seeing her act out of character, he was concerned that she was planning to hurt him too and he knew she might be successful since he is already affected by her.

"Woah, you are more complicated than I thought" said Haider with a surprised look

"Your thoughts won't even come close to how complicated I'm, you Don't even know me enough to expect anything from me" said Tehreem with a smile which left him speechless and in deep thoughts.

"You're right that I Don't know you enough but there's my whole life left to know you" said Haider in a flirtish way and Tehreem gave him the sharp side eye look, Haider chuckled seeing her reaction.

"Like you said I'm complicated and you Don't know me enough, who knows if there's a whole life left to know me, Will I stay for you to know me" said Tehreem in a cliff-hanger way.

"Let's start the ceremony" said Hina when Haider was going to ask Tehreem what she meant by what she said, He was left confused. He knew by now that she was more than what he thought

"Areeka, go and take the ring" said Nusrat and Areeka took out the ring, she was hating every moment of this, and Haider could see this which made him feel so good.

"Sarah" called out Hina and Sarah came in with the ring box, she opened the ring box and revealed the beautiful ring. Areeka was burning seeing this, she dreamed of this moment which is being lived by her sister now

Areeka opened the ring box and Tehreem took the ring from the box while smiling at Areeka, a smile which had a taunt for Areeka. Haider put his hand forward and Tehreem slipped the ring into his ring finger. The ring had a T engraved on it.

Sarah took out the ring and gave it to her brother, Haider took the ring and Tehreem kept her hand forward. He slowly put the ring in her ring finger and the guests clapped, even though this was his plan which did not involve any feeling, but he felt the moment like a fairy tale.

Everyone congratulated the couple while Areeka was burning, a part of her still loved him and it was not long ago when they were actually a thing. Areeka stood next to Tehreem and Haider who was deliberately being a lovey dove like couple leaving both their families in complete awe.

"After this just smile or laugh, by the way our act is making both of our families happy and Areeka mad so, what we are doing is really perfect, it's nice seeing Mom smiling like this and Thank you for that," said Haider

"If you are thanking me then Thank you to you too for acting with me, it's really heart-warming to see our parents smile in happiness because of our small performance" said Tehreem then both of us faked laughter.

"We Don't agree on many things and are against many things about each other but both of us are working together on making Areeka jealous, we make an amazing team" said Haider and Tehreem nodded

"That is true, we at least agree on doing something we both want" said Tehreem in his ears and then laughed and Haider joined her, they both saw Areeka staring at them.

The next day, Haider opened the door for Sarah. Sarah walked out with a pot of Mehendi cones, Sarah thanked him, and they walked in Tehreem's house. Tehreem ascended the stairs in a dark green suit, Haider looked at her in complete awe. Her eyes meet with his awestruck eyes.

"Bought your Mehendi" said Sarah with a big, excited smile, he could not help himself from smiling.

"Thank you, Sarah, for bringing this" said Tehreem and they all walked outside to the sitting arrangement made for the Mehendi ceremony. A lady came and started putting mehndi on Tehreem's hands, Sarah sat on a different chair and got herself some mehendi.

"Ma'am what's the groom's name" asked the lady and Tehreem was going to answer

"Haider" said Haider and Tehreem stared at him

"I'm going to go since I need to find my name, never thought you'd write my name on your hand for the second time, Remember the last time, my name on your hand in a dark red colour" whispered Haider flirtishly in Tehreem ear and she rolled her eyes.

"I'll be waiting for you" said Haider and walked away with a smirk....
