Table For Two

Taroon and Nusrat was sitting across Saaz and Hina, Tehreem was upstairs trying to do her work. Hina was hopeful and was waiting for a positive answer. They were sitting the lawn and Tehreem could see them sitting, she knew that her parents were going to give their answer.

"So, Mr and Mrs Mehta, what have you decided, we are waiting your answer with hope" asked Hina hoping for a yes

"Call us Nusrat and Taroon since we are going to be family, Tehreem said Yes" said Nusrat with a smile, Hina and Saaz had a big smile on their face. They tried to act calm, but they were incredibly happy hearing the positive answer, Hina texted Sarah the news.

Haider was doing his Studies for the upcoming test and was startled by Sarah's knocking. Sarah sat next to Haider and was hiding something behind her. Haider had a confused look and Sarah had an excited look

"So, Mama texted me and you know that she is at your to-be laws, My To-Be sister-in-law said yes" said Sarah and Haider acted surprised and excited, He knew that this would happen since he had orchestrated everything properly.

"I brought a small cake to celebrate the fact that My brother is going to get married to an impressive girl, Great selection by the way, she's actually nice and sweet, we'll get along really nice, and mama likes her too so you're lucky," said Sarah

Haider cut the cake, Sarah gave him a spoon, and both started eating it. Sarah was excited and Haider was happy that he is getting what he wanted. Areeka was hurting just the way he was hurt; He was happy that his family was happy with his wish.

"Bro, are you free tomorrow night?" asked Sarah and Haider nodded. Sarah texted something.

Hina and Saaz was relieved and Happy. Hina noticed Tehreem standing in the balcony with a book and she had an idea. Hina smiled and nodded to the talks while she planned her idea well, she was hopeful for a yes.

"I was thinking that it would be great if the kids got to know each other better, would you both let Tehreem go on a dinner date with Haider" asked Hina. Nusrat looked at Taroon with a confused look, Taroon gave a convincing look making her nod.

"Yes Sure, Tehreem is free tomorrow night, and we don't mind" said Nusrat

"That's great, I'll text you the address and time, Haider will come and pick up Tehreem" said Hina and everyone nodded.

After the Khurrana's left, The Mehta's entered Tehreem's room after knocking. Tehreem kept her book aside and walked towards her parents.

"So Hina told us that It would be great if you and Haider went for a date and we said Yes, Hope you don't have any objections with that" said Nusrat, Tehreem wanted to scream at them for saying yes but she kept her calm.

"No, I have no issues with that" said Tehreem and her parents nodded. They talked for a while and then left. Tehreem realised that she had a chance to confront Haider on what he did, she was furious at him and now she had a chance to unleash that.

The next day, she stood in front of the mirror wearing a red dress. She was forced by her mother to put something to her look, her mother was emphasising First date and she was rolling her eyes.

She did not want to stand like some doll especially for Haider. Haider was there and was talking to Taroon. Tehreem came downstairs and His eyes were on her. They said bye, got into the car, and started driving to their destination.

"You look really good, this much effort for a date, I'm surprised because I didn't expect this from you" said Haider in a surprised way

"Thanks for the compliment and you must know that people do above and beyond expectations, you did plenty of things I didn't expect from you, but you still did it" said Tehreem in a cold formal tone

"Another surprise, you keep expectations about me and that I would never expect" said Haider ignoring the shade she put in her reply, He knew that he hid hit hard.

"I'll break all of your expectations so don't keep them," said Tehreem

"We reached here" said Haider, He opened the door, and she slowly came down.

"Table for Two, reserved on the name Haider Khurrana" said Haider and a person showed them their table. Haider came towards Tehreem to pull the chair for her and become a gentleman, but she had already done that and took a seat, He sat next to her.

"Last time when we came to a restaurant, you fell on me and confronted me, later sat adjacent to me and gave me the soul stealing look, how can I forget the bruises and rolling eyes" said Haider mocking Tehreem and Tehreem controlled herself.

"You are controlling yourself very well, I thought that you would've rolled your eyes at that comment but very well" said Haider and Tehreem clutched her hands

"Haider, I have only one thing to ask you and that's it" said Tehreem and Haider nodded

"I'll answer truthfully to whatever you ask," said Haider

"What is your problem with me? I never punched you, but you are still doing all these, I seriously do not get your intentions, Why and How did you ruin mine and Areeka's relationship" asked Tehreem

"That's more than one question but I'll consider a few like sub questions" said Haider and Tehreem looked into his eyes

"You never punched me or anything like that if you ignore the hand pulling part, but you played with Areeka on breaking my heart and this isn't my empty words because I heard Areeka say that to Neha" said Haider and Tehreem nodded.

Haider had an unsettling feeling seeing her calmly nod to that without telling anything, He knew that there was an upcoming storm behind that silence. She had a silent storm look on her face which concerned him so much......
