Held Her In His Arms

Areeka was getting ready for her Haldi Ceremony, she looked at her dark mehendi with a smile. She saw her sister coming in and hugging her from behind. Tehreem took her phone and took a selfie with Areeka. She was incredibly happy for her sister's happiness.

"Reeka, Yellow is your colour for sure and this Lehenga is just wow, let no one cast your evil eyes on you" said Tehreem with a smile. Tehreem took a bit of Kajal from her eyes and put it behind Areeka's ears to keep evil eyes away.

"Reem, what did you do with your mehendi" asked Reeka and Tehreem gave a nervous look

"I kind of asked the lady to put mehendi over it but she said it will ruin the look, so we tried our best to hide it and I did wipe away, but it turned out to be already darkened," said Tehreem

"I'm so sorry" said Areeka

"NO Reeka, I'm sure no one can see this and these kind of are written in a corner and as your punishment for the mehendi disaster, don't think about Haider at all, Go and enjoy," said Tehreem

"I will" said Areeka with a smile ad Tehreem hugged her again, Tehreem still was not ready for the fact that her sister is getting married.

Areeka went downstairs with Tehreem and Neha. Ashar's mother had reached with the haldi, Areeka sat in the seat laid for her. The eldest woman in the family put the haldi on Areeka first then was joined by family. Tehreem put some Haldi on her cheeks and pulled them with a smile.

"Love you Reeka," said Tehreem

"Love you Reem" said Areeka and hugged Tehreem, she deliberately smashed her face on Tehreem's to mess her up

"Reeka" whined Tehreem

"Sorry not sorry" said Reeka and Tehreem smiled.

Some women started singing some wedding songs and some ladies started dancing to it, the function only contained close members. Tehreem started singing and dancing with the ladies, enjoying and making the wedding more eventful, Areeka smiled at her sister.

The guests started putting the haldi on Areeka one by one, Tehreem on the other side was hell bent on making her dad dance, In the end he caved. Tehreem knew that she was going to hear an earful from her mother later but wanted to enjoy her sister's wedding.

"Did it darken since yesterday" asked Neha to Tehreem in a faint voice which would only audible for Tehreem. Tehreem nodded positively and Neha sighed.

"Ignore that and enjoy" said Tehreem and Made Neha dance with her. Neha twirled her and her eyes fell on a pair of eyes which was looking at her. She felt like air was knocked off her lungs

The pair of eyes was watching Tehreem enjoy the ritual and he was there to ruin it. He watched her twirl in her Yellow and violet lehenga with a big smile. He felt a bit bad ruining it but the satisfaction in the end overpowered.

"Look at near the entrance without making a sharp look, just dance and look" said Tehreem to Neha

"NO way" said Neha in horror, she tried concealing that with a laugh

"You make sure that Areeka doesn't come to know about this, keep her engaged and I'll take care of him" said Tehreem and Neha nodded

Tehreem slowly went into the side to get out of attention, she moved towards Haider and Haider was looking at her like he was waiting for her because he was. She walked near him, he held her hand with power and pulled her to the side like she used to do.

"What the hell" she said, and he placed his hand on her lips to silence her, she looked at him with a whirlwind of emotions.

"Before you tell something else, I need to know how it feels to be pulled like you always pull me, unlike you, I didn't use much power," said Haider

"Let me guess, you were thinking about doing the same" said Haider and Tehreem rolled her eyes, she was guilty of thinking about doing the same.

"What are you doing here, I told you not to come across Areeka or my family ever again" said Tehreem with a furious voice, Haider looked at her amused

"Why can't I attend my friend's Haldi, I just had the simple intention of attending her Haldi" said Haider with an innocent looking face and Tehreem rolled her eyes

"It will get stuck over there one day if you keep on doing it" said Haider, Haider did not want to do what he was going to do with her but when she keeps on annoying him, he gets fuelled up to do it and silence her

He pulls her towards him, and she gasped, her hands were on his chest, and she looked at him with an angry surprised look. He could not help himself from smirking and she wanted to punch that smirk off his face. He held her by the waist and her angry eyes looked at him

"Before you tell or do something let me show you something that will knock all the sense at you" said Haider and Tehreem controlled herself from hurting him.

Haider took out this phone with one hand, unlocked it and opened his gallery. Tehreem looked at him in confusion and he smirked at her. He took out an Album Named Areeka and Tehreem gasped. The folder contained pictures of Areeka and Haider looking like Star-crossed lovers in so much love.

"I never thought this day would occur where I could just silence you like this; these pictures did really leave you speechless," said Haider

Tehreem looked down; Millions of thoughts were racing in Tehreem's mind. Tehreem did not know what to do and she knew Haider was crazy enough to do anything. Suddenly Haider pulled her towards him with his hand on her waist. He looked at her numb thought-filled eyes which wanted to do a lot more

He left his grip on her waist and stumbled backwards....
