Annabeth

  I feel so bad for Bianca. The poor girl died twice..and the second time she was a villain. She died at my hand. The gods have been silent ever since they heard the news, but there has been thousands of thunderstorms and massive waves. I heard about thirty ships were sunk because of the crazy waters. Percy can't even handle them.

Me, Piper, Jason, Leo, Hazel, Frank and Percy took lead of the camp. With our centaur leader gone and Mr. D who still has yet to come back, we were alone and defenseless. Rachel is still the Oracle, but after a long battle she puts her adventures on pause and resigns to her chambers. No one has contact with the gods. But the way the elements and everything seems, I feel like they aren't in the mood to speak with us.

Percy went silent. With me back he is much happier, but I'm guessing now with the suddenness of everything and all the deaths, it must now just be getting to him. I sat next to him in his—well our cabin. When we got back he hasn't let me out of his sight. He moved all my things to his cabin and turned to single beds into one big bed. With the help of nymphs, a table and chairs of wooden tree trunks, dead wood reformed, was made. A small fireplace in the corner made the place warm and comfortable, like a home. Today though was different, no laying with him all day moping around. Today was his 20th birthday, and I was bound to make it special.

A horn sounded outside and Percy jumped up. "What was that?" He cried p, alarmed. I pushed him back on the bed and held him down. "I don't know, seaweed brain. But it's probably nothing." I said softly while moving off of him. He tried to get up again but I shoved him back down. "Annie, what's up with you?" He said, "I need to see if everything is OK!"

I laughed, "Percy, I doubt there is anything happening. It was probably the little nymph kids again. You know how they love getting into things." He frowned at me obviously not believing my fib, but I couldn't let him leave the cabin, not yet. "Fine," I said, "If it really bothers you I'll go check." I started towards the door, and heard footsteps behind me.

Percy grabbed my hand. "Annabeth no, let me. I don't want you hurt. I can't lose you again." He softly caressed my face with a sad, loving expression. I smiled, "I'll be fine, I promise." I said, "If anything happens, even if a leaf falls from a tree, I'll call for you, OK?" Percy nodded, a little angrily but said he'd stay. I kissed his cheek lightly and slipped out the door.

The horn was nothing, that was my cue to finish the party setup. I knew we should've had a quieter notification. Now Percy is alerted. I ran towards the center of the camp. There were streamers made of vines that grew from their trees, thanks to the nymphs, a portrait of Percy made out of shot arrows, aimed at specific points on a big old slab of wood, thanks to Ares cabin. Each cabin pitched in, Aphrodite had a bunch of glitter and bright colors and some not to bad outfits for everyone, Iris had their mother create big shiny rainbows over the camp, and Leo had the rest of his cabin create little robots that served food and drinks. He also said they had a big surprise at the end, but he wouldn't​ tell me what.

I had tables full of food, all of his favorites. There were also desserts. Cupcakes, brownies, cookies, and a big chocolate cake. I even put a small statue of Chiron in the corner, to show Percy he will always be there with him. Dang, I miss that centaur.

We were just finishing the last decorations. The place was beautiful. I told everyone to hide under tables and I stood in the middle of the camp once more. With a big breath I opened my mouth, "Percy!" I cried, "Percy hurry!" I heard the cabin door slam open as Percy ran to me. It was pretty dark so he couldn't see much. He came closer and grabbed my arms, looking into my face with a scared expression. "Annie! What's wrong?" He asked, "Where is everyone?" On cue everyone jumped up and lights from light bugs and lanterns lit the area. "Surprise!" We screamed. Percy looked shocked and then looked at me. I kissed him on the lips, "Happy birthday seaweed brain."

The party was over, we were all watching the sun rise. "Wait!" Leo called, running up. He threw down one of his robots. "Whats up Leo?" Percy asked. Leo pressed a big button on the side of the robot. It opened up and released a missle looking thing. I prepared to jump up, but Percy held me at his side. The missle turned out to be a firework, and it lit up the sky. All the other robots joined in. The air was full of bright colorful lights

Percy turned me to him and started kissing me. I joined him but soon pushed away blushing when everyone started cheering and clapping. Percy stood up, "There's one thing missing here." He said. What? Is this not good enough for him? I tried so hard. "Where's Nico?" Oh..Nevermind me.

Everybody shrugged and looked around, not finding him. Me and Percy walked to the Hades cabin and saw a dim light under the door, there were no sounds coming from inside. We snuck in quietly in case he was asleep, but we found something far worse. Nico was there on an Iris message, with his father. "You failed me!" Hades bellowed, "You and your sister! You had one task, one! To kill those pesky demigods and weaken my brothers to give me the rightful place of the leader of all. But you failed. Now Bianca is dead again. Do you know how hard it was to bring her back the first time? I can't do that again! Your lucky no one caught you, but now your all alone. It's riskier now."

Nico sighed, "I understand father. Me and Bianca didn't have our plans figured out smoothly, and the demigods have outsmarted us. We underestimated them."
Hades snorted. "Meet me at home and I will give you another small power boost. I can't do much because the rest of the gods suspect me enough, but I can do that much. Don't fail me this time boy, kill them all."

Me and Percy exchanged glances. Crap.
