Y/n's P.O.V.

I couldn't believe my eyes, I saw a Self Sustaining Hot Air Mobile Home that looked almost identical to the one that Violet was talking about. "Do you really think Isadora and Duncan might be up there?" Quigley asked pulling out his telescope. "I think so," I answered. I looked over at Quigley to see if our suspicions were correct, when he put down the telescope, he smiled.

"It's them! I see them!" he answered. Quigley rotated the dials on the telescope and it showed a bright light. "I'm gonna try to get their attention, you try to shout as loud as you can so they can hear you," he instructed. I nodded, and I cupped my hands around my mouth and starting shouting for them to look down. "Keep going! I think they can hear us!" Quigley said. I kept shouting, and then, the mobile home came to a stop.

Then, slowly it started to come down and they tossed the ladder down once the device was a few feet above the railing. "You first," I said. Quigley carefully stepped onto the railing and climb the ladder, after he climbed up a few steps I grabbed onto the ladder and climbed up. As I climbed up, I could the looks of happiness on Duncan and Isadora's faces, and I couldn't wait to hold them so close.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, I reached the final step on the ladder, and I was pulled onto the deck of the mobile home. "Y/n! Quigley!" Duncan and Isadora said as they pulled us into a group hug. "We missed you guys so much!" I muffled. We stayed in that group hug for what seemed like forever, and I didn't want to let go. "We thought you were dead, how did you get out?" Isadora asked.

Quigley and I looked at each other, and we knew that we had a lot to explain to them. It took us about an hour to get through everything, and by the time that we were done explaining what happened, Isadora and Duncan's eyes were wide as saucers. "So, let me get this straight, you two were in the kitchen drinking cider, Mom led you to an underground tunnel, you two traveled around the city, encountered the Baudelaires, and joined V.F.D. and went on a quest to retrieve the sugar bowl?" Duncan recapped. "Yep, that's pretty much what happened," I answered.

"Oh, there's also something else that happened in the middle of all this, Y/n and I became boyfriend and girlfriend," Quigley smiled wrapping an arm around the small of my back. "I KNEW IT! I KNEW SOMETHING WAS GOING ON BETWEEN YOU TWO!" Isadora screamed. "Isadora, please stop screaming, you know I can't handle it when you scream," a voice said. Quigley and I looked behind us, and we saw a man with black hair, and brown eyes and he seemed very tired.

"Who's he?" Quigley asked. "That's Hector, he created the mobile home and he was the one that helped us escape from the Village of Fowl Devotees," Isadora answered. "Nice to meet you, Hector," I smiled. He smiled back at me, and he continued controlling the mobile home. "I can't believe my little brother has a girlfriend now," Duncan smiled. Quigley and I looked at each other brightly, and I fell him softly grab my arm, and pull me into a soft and quick kiss.

"So, what are we going to do now?" I asked. "Whatever we decide to do, we'll do it together, the four of us," Quigley answered. When we were high up in the air, I could see that the clouds had parted, and I could see the sun start to set. I felt Quigley grab my hand and lightly squeeze it, and we walked over to the edge of the mobile home and watched the sunset together while my head gently rested on his shoulder.

"I love you," I whispered. Quigley looked over at me, and I felt him plant a soft kiss on top of my head. "I love you too, Y/n L/n, and I know that our future will be bright because I have you by my side," he whispered back. I leaned in slightly and we shared a soft passionate kiss as the last ray of sun disappeared from the sky.
