Klaus feared that his enemies would find out about his unborn children and he was right to fear that. Hayley was walking through the bayou searching for more information on her parents that had abandoned her at a young age. She was only in New Orleans for that reason to begin with, but not knowing the dangers she was putting herself through. She wanted or part of her wanted to put her unborn babies out of their misery, but wanted to keep them at the same time. But as she walked through the bayou she wasn't aware of her long time friend that she didn't quite remember was watching her. Protecting her and the unborn children that were inside her. She had seen the wolf that was watching her and keeping a close eye on her, but she didn't know who it was.

She hoped one day her kids would have the ability to shift, but also worried about the curse being broken. She wanted them to have the freedom to be able to change, but worried they would trigger the curse in a way she didn't want them to. Because in order to trigger the wolf curse that runs through their veins you had to take an innocent persons life. Whether it on purpose or by accident nature didn't care only that you made the kill and it would trigger the curse. They call it a curse due to the breaking of bones ever time you have to shift under the full moon. Now if your a hybrid like Klaus you don't have to be forced to shift. You have the ability to control the change and that is the magic factor of it.

Except on the first change, you can't control it no matter how hard you try, you have to let it happen. If you fight it then the longer and harder it is on you and your body. Not knowing that people were hunting her because of her and Klaus unborn children she was protected. Not just by the Mikealson siblings but the entire wolf pack that surrounded her especially one wolf in particular. A male that she once knew, or her family knew and they played as kids, but she doesn't quite remember that. She was knocked out as she walked through the bayou, but before anyone could harm her they were taken out by the wolf and it's pack. One day they would be her pack even, but at the moment they were his.

"What were you thinking Hayley" Klaus yelled

"I wanted to find my family that's the whole reason I came here in the first place" Hayley argued

"You could have gotten killed" Klaus argued

"Klaus that's enough" Rebekah said

Hayley went to stand but she began to fall nearly hitting the ground but Klaus caught her just in time.

"I got you little wolf" Klaus whispered as he caught her

Weeks went by and her belly was growing and more people were finding out about her being pregnant with Klaus children. The witches weren't happy and Klaus wasn't either, but that wasn't the point. Hayley was again walking through the bayou when her old friend cornered her and chained her to the dresser in the abandon home.

"Tyler what the hell" Hayley asked when she came to

"Klaus only wants those babies for making hybrids, you think he actually cares for anything other than that" Tyler snapped

"That's a lie, they can't make more hybrids" Hayley argued

"Lets test that theory then" Tyler said

And in the end the theory was proven right, Klaus could make more hybrids if that was what he truly wanted. Although Klaus didn't know those babies could make hybrids and he didn't really want that anymore. All that was on his mind now were those kids and part of him hated that feeling. The feeling he currently felt towards the unborn babies and their mother. He hated feelings in general, he never thought he was allowed to be happy. That emotions made you weak so, he never felt them he killed without a care. He did whatever he wanted without a second thought, but that would soon change.

Klaus didn't care about more hybrids being made, but no one would know that truth. He didn't care what other people thought except when it came to emotions. He never wanted to feel, but he always did no matter what he tried to do. Klaus hated feelings and that was because of Mikeal, Mikeal always said feelings were what made you weak. Turns out that was far from the truth, but Klaus had yet to figure that out at the moment. Klaus wasn't weak for having emotions no one was but of course, people only see things as what they want to see. This was another thing other people didn't see or realize about him nor did he about himself. That he could feel emotions and he was right to feel the way he did about things.

Niklaus Mikealson was far from a weak being or person. He was far from being any less of a man when he showed his emotions. Yes, he may make fun of his little sister Rebekah for loving to easily. Or dagger his siblings when they seemed to have pissed him off. But that was his form of love and most people couldn't see or understand that. But Hayley wasn't most people or most wolves she knew deep down just as Elijah and the others knew. That Klaus Mikealson had a heart deep down whether it beat normally or it was long gone he still had hope. There was hope for the Klaus Mikealson and the only people that had it for him was his family and Hayley was now part of that family along with the children she was carrying inside of her.

Hayley might not have had the best of upbringings much like Klaus except different. She was abandoned by her parents and later kicked out of her adoptive parents home when she triggered her curse. Of course her parents would freak out when their daughter suddenly turns into a wolf right in front of them. If you didn't know about the supernatural world and weren't familiarized with it then you too would freak out. So both Hayley and Klaus didn't dare dream of treating or abandoning their kids the way they once had been treated.
