The party went on for hours and slowly everyone started to leave bit by bit soon almost everyone had left. Except the Malfoy's, the riddle brothers, me and the Greengrass sisters plus their cousin Gabe. I had talked with various people but always seemed to find my way back to talking to Gabe. Something about him just drew me in and I wanted no I needed to know more about him. Eventually the rest left which left me with the riddle brothers only even pansy left with her parents whom I graciously met.

"He's bad news" Tom said

"I don't like that guy" Matteo added

"Don't be silly boys, he's sweet when you talk to him you just haven't spoken to him, oh and get this he might transfer to Hogwarts from the school he's going to now isn't that good" I said in a love struck tone

"Your delusional trinity" Tom said

"Oh don't worry Tom if I needed you to pick who to talk to I would but I don't" I said a little harshly

"Love, listen to us if you get too deep into this he's going to show who he truly is" Matteo said

"Matty don't worry please you guys I'm fine nothing bad is going to happen" I said

What I didn't realize then was that situation was exactly like hope and that blond vampire boy from her school. What I also didn't really know was that things wouldn't go well for me in ways I wouldn't ever have imagined them to. In that moment I also didn't realize that Tom had said my first name for the first time in a long time that night.

Time skip

Over the next few weeks I sent letters back and forth with Gabe and things were getting very interesting to say the least. Because the next time I went home for break I was greeted by Gabe at the front door of my house. And suddenly he kissed me, it was a shock but it wasn't aggressive or forced it was sweet and gentle.

"Well hello" I said and giggled

"Hello sweetheart you look good" he said looking me up and down

I learned that gave was the same age as Tom which made me thirteen and him fourteen but that didn't matter to much.

"Shall you be joining me for a cup of tea or something else?" I asked

"I came to talk so tea will be nice" he said

"Sure I'll have nona warm the pot up" I said

"Why are you friends with those riddle brothers?" He asked suddenly as we sat down

"Oh Tom and Matteo are great friends of mine, they were the first people I meant in Scotland when I was first going to Hogwarts" I said

"I don't trust them" he said

"Funny they said the same about you" I said and sipped my tea

A few more weeks went by and summer vacation was coming along and Gabe was my boyfriend by now. Things were going well for me at least that's how I thought and felt in that moment. But when Gabe came by and told me that he over heard Tom and Matteo with my friends talking bad about me I didn't know how to feel. I didn't know who to believe and when I tried to read Gabe's mind it was painful for me. Like a spell warding me out was placed on him and it hurt. I winced trying to hide the fact that I tried to read his thoughts. But he saw and that's when things got worse he hit me hard enough that I stumbled backwards.

"What the hell Gabe" I snapped

Suddenly he grabbed my neck and pushed me into the wall breaking my favorite glass vase on the way. I hit my head which would definitely leave a bruise so would the grip he had on my neck. I tried to grab at his hands but he hit me against the wall again leaving me seeing spots.

"Listen bitch, you will do as I say when I say and how I say it or I'll kill your stupid riddle brothers" he hissed

Not my family, what was I going to do, how was I supposed to take or handle this.

"Please leave them out of this" I pleaded

"Pathetic, do you know who they really are, who their father and mother is, what they do" he hissed

When I didn't answer he squeezed my neck harder causing me to fight for air.

"Answer the damn question you stupid girl" he snapped

"I don't know" I coughed out

"Pathetic, you didn't dig into their history how stupid are you" he said

The thing is I knew, I knew a lot about the boys and they knew plenty about me. I just for the first time froze on the spot not able to figure out what to say to him. I was in a position that I'd never been in and never would have thought I'd be in.

"Stop trying to read my mind" he hissed

My eyes widened in shock, how did he know.

"Yeah I know, I've don't plenty of stuff, sneaking around, looking through your stuff it's sad your family never wanted you, then again I see why they chose hope over you, your pathetic and disgusting" he said

It hurt that he used them to hurt me, and in this moment I felt weaker than ever. Something that was blocking my magic, something I couldn't figure out until I saw his ring on his left hand. It was a supernatural blocking ring that blocks the person you intend it too blocking their abilities. I was weakened, I was basically human which mean anytime he directed that ring at me because it was tied to me directly. That meant he could use it against me at any moment when he's around. It also meant no healing abilities, no magic abilities, I was completely and utterly useless and human.
