chapter one, vampire

Daisy McCarty stood very still as Victoria circled her watching her every move.

"You're unique, I felt it the moment I saw you. Today only confirmed it, I've never heard of any newborn having more than one gift." Victoria leans forward and gently strokes Daisy's cheek causing the newborn to flinch.

"Don't be afraid Daisy, I'll help you perfect your gifts," Victoria smirked because for once she had the upper hand. All the other newborns were pathetic and useless but Daisy was her hope. Her chance to actually win. To get her revenge.

"Where's Bree? Can I see her?" Daisy asks softly still afraid of the redhead that turned her.

Bree Tanner had been the first person to greet Daisy when she woke up after three days of awful pain. Bree was nice and Daisy felt safe with her.

Victoria shook her head, "Your little friend is with the others no need to worry I'll tell Riley to keep her safe for you. But I'm going to need you to focus alright?"

Daisy quickly nods her head, wanting to keep her new friend safe. "You're not angry about..."

"The newborn you killed? No, he was useless. You did everyone a favor." Victoria shrugs her shoulders, not caring. "Besides, you copied his gift which is what matters."

Alex, the newborn Daisy killed had the gift of intangibility which gave him the ability to not be touched. He was able to walk through things and the moment Daisy touched him, she copied that gift.

Victoria's theory of her being a copycat was confirmed when Daisy touched another newborn's gift of ice and inherited it. Having two gifts.

Victoria speeds out for a second before speeding back in with Riley.

"Reily, sweetie. Daisy has a very powerful gift and she's able to inherit any vampire's gift with a simple touch. So we are going to visit some past friends." Victoria says softly touching Riley's hand. Riley's eyes followed her every move.

Daisy quickly noticed that Riley seemed more interested in Victoria than she was. Her actions looked forced and sometimes painful in Daisy's head. But Daisy kept her mouth shut not wanting to start anything.

The newborn had also understood what Victoria wanted to do, she wanted Daisy to inherit multiple powers so she'll truly be unbeatable.

"Also make sure to keep Bree safe for our dear Daisy here." Both Victoria and Riley looked at the brunette and noticed she felt looked frightened.

Victoria had found her going on her daily night jog and quickly decided to follow and turned her. Just like many others.

Victoria walked over to her, "Relax Daisy, I won't hurt you and Bree will be safe." She bends down to grab a backpack and tosses it to Daisy, who quickly catches it.

Daisy was still getting used to her strength, speed, gifts, and glowing red eyes. She also cried real tears when she killed her first human which shocked the hell out of Victoria.

"I bought you some clear clothes. Go change and clear your face a little."

"Alright," Daisy says her voice still trembling a bit. She walks over to a corner and pulls out the clothes. They were currently in an abandoned warehouse so everything was dark and gloomy.

The brunette newborn quickly changed out of bloody clothes into some black jeans, a purple long-sleeve top, a black jacket, and a pair of converses. Daisy then grabs the wipes and cleans her face wiping away the blood and dirt.

This all felt like a horrible nightmare but as much as Daisy tried, she couldn't wake up. Making her dread knowing this wasn't a dream, it was all real.

The horrible pain that lasted three days, her need for blood, her speed, her strength, and her odd gifts. Daisy Harrington was now a vampire.

Vampires aren't supposed to exist, they were Halloween stores but here she was. Without a heartbeat, thirsty for blood, and surrounded by people who wanted her dead. Expect Bree and apparently Victoria.

Daisy comes back to see Victoria and Riley talking, but they both stop when they hear her steps.

"Can I go say goodbye to Bree? And explain everything?" Daisy asks Victoria, hoping the red hair would agree.

Victoria nods making Daisy sigh in relief. She quickly rushes out of the room and goes outside to see many newborns destroying abandoned cars.

Ever since she killed Alex, every newborn was out to kill her. Luckily, Riley had specifically banned them from doing so.

Daisy rushes over to Bree who is sitting hidden in a corner. She sits down next to her and Bree immediately wraps her arms around Daisy. The brunette smiled enjoying her friend's comfort.

"Bree, I'm leaving for a couple of days with Victoria," Daisy says her voice shaking a bit.

Bree looks at her in confusion, "Why?"

"Victoria says I have a gift to copy any vampire's gift so she's taking me to meet some of her friends..." Daisy stops and bites her lip. Feeling tears form in her eyes.

Bree looks at her softly seeing how scared Daisy was. At that moment she knew, she had to be the brave one between them. "Don't be afraid Daisy. You're special and powerful it seems. Develop your gift so after the fight, we can leave."

"Do you really think Victoria and Riley will let us leave after?" Daisy says with a hopeful look.

Bree shrugs, "I figure, I mean for what else would she need us." Bree removes her arms from around Daisy and takes off the necklace she has around her neck.

"Here, so you'll have a part of me with you." Daisy immediately throws her arms around Bree.

"I'll be back soon and we'll leave. Maybe travel the world, and explore. Pretty much do everything we ever dreamed of."

Bree smiles and puts the necklace around Daisy. Both girls hug one last time before Daisy gets up and goes over to where Victoria stands.

The red-haired vampire smirked, "Ready?"

The brunette newborn takes a deep breath before replying, "Yes."

Three weeks later

"Don't disappoint me, Daisy. You are going to be the most powerful and gifted person there. Kill them and afterward, you're free." Victoria's words kept repeating themselves in Daisy's head. "Make me proud."

Victoria spends weeks introducing her to vampires all over the world. Not telling them about her gift instead of just introducing them and smirking as they shook hands.

In that week Daisy inherited many gifts such as controlling the elements, invisibility, human compulsion, physical shield, relationship manipulation, tracking sense, pain allusion, and lie detector. Daisy also discovered she already had the gift of healing humans.

Victoria then spent two weeks helping her control and perfect the use of every gift. Using the other newborns as guinea pigs.

Daisy went along with all of it because Victoria had kept her promise about keeping Bree safe from the others.

Daisy McCarty watched as all the newborns including Bree ran through the woods all heading towards the same direction.

Victoria had kept Daisy and Riley next to her. They were all far behind and once they got into the battle sense, they saw the Cullen's and wolves winning.

Victoria looked angrily at the scene noticing that Edward and Bella weren't there. She quickly smelled a sense and turned to look at Daisy.

"Go help out the others. Don't disappoint me." She said before she and Riley speeded it off.

Daisy watched in shock as the wolves ripped off the heads of many newborns. Looking frantically for Bree, she would never forgive herself if something happened to her.

Daisy knew she had to intervene, to fight as Victoria had trained her. But she just couldn't.

This wasn't her fight, she never wanted any of this. All Daisy wanted was to find Bree and get the hell out of there.

Maybe this was the plan all along, betray Victoria. But how could Victoria expect loyalty when she treated Daisy like a weapon the entire time?

Besides, Daisy wasn't going to get herself killed for a cause that didn't even include her.

Daisy stayed invisible walking through the trees and her eyes widened in fear when she noticed Bree backed against a tree two vampires spending in front of her.

She quickly became visible and ran in front of Bree, immediately causing Bree to sigh in relief grabbing Daisy's hand.

"If you want to kill her, you'll have to kill me first," Daisy said her voice stiff.

Carlisle and Esme immediately shared a confused look, they hadn't noticed this newborn.

Daisy noticed both vampires didn't move or say anything and she looked behind them to see a huge black wolf and a bigger vampire walking towards them.

Daisy let go of Brees's hand and immediately turned her invisible, shocking Carlisle even more.

Emmett ran turns Daisy and Daisy quickly dodged his punch. Kicking him in the stomach hard.

She quickly noticed the black wolf was ready to attack so she used her pain allusion on him. The wolf let out a pain howl causing the others to look and see.

Daisy continued to find Emmett and she punched him in the face. Remembering all of Victoria's training.

As Emmett fell to the floor in shock, Daisy looked up and noticed she was the last one standing. She also stood in the middle.

Daisy looked around to see six vampires looking at her and a group of wolves growling at her surroundings the black wolf.

Her lip began to tremble as her mind ran through every scenario possible. But she bit her lip when she realized there was no way she'd make it out alive.

She stops her pain on the wolf and puts a shield around her. At that moment all Daisy could think about was Bree. Was Bree going to witness her death? Can Bree escape? Did Bree already escape?

Her eyes looked at the wolves and noticed they were all ready to kill her. Her eyes landed on a dark sliver wolf, she met his eyes and the wolf immediately stopped growling.

Paul Lahote immediately felt his world shift, this brunette was his imprint. The ancestors had a link him to her.

He saw a future with this vampire. Paul's mind trailed off as he stared into the red eyes of the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Although his thought freaked out the other wolves.

Paul! Snap out of it, gross! Leah snapped making the others agree with her.

I can't believe you just imprinted on a vampire! A red blood-sucking vampire! Jared snaps making the other agree.

But Paul just stood there looking at her dumbfounded, and in shock. All the other wolves turn to look at Paul angrily growling at him. Disgusted by his thoughts and feelings about this vampire. They were also shocked that Paul saw a future with her.

It was odd, the dark sliver wolf just stood there staring at her. Daisy found her odd so she decided to turn back to the Cullen's.

"I never wanted this. Any of this. I didn't fight neither did my friend." Daisy looks at Carlisle who stands in the middle.

Carlisle looked at her in awe, "truce?" He asks holding his hand out.

Daisy looked at him and bit her lip, there was no way of getting out of there without a truce. She nodded and walked over to him taking his hand.

Carlisle immediately felt an overwhelming sensation run through him. Daisy smiled, "Thanks for that. I don't feel the urge to drink anymore."

"You're a copycat," Carlisle says making his family look at her in shock.

Daisy smiles nervously, "I am. I can develop anyone's gift with a single touch. I have around ten gifts so far,"

Carlisle continued to look at her in awe and shock, "That's fantastic."

Emmett pouts and crosses his arms, "That fight wasn't fair then." Rosalie rolled her eyes at her mate.

Daisy smirked, "Technically, it was. I wasn't using any of my powers. I'm simply better than you." She struggled her shoulders and sighed in relief when she felt a hand hold hers.

Daisy looked aside and turned Bree visible. She looked aside to see the wolves still looked upset but there wasn't attacking.

"Well, I think it's time I introduce myself. I'm Daisy and this is my friend Bree."

Author notes: wow, this was long. I hope you all enjoyed this. Hopefully, it doesn't have many mistakes. I wrote it in like an hour and didn't read it over. I also finished chapter two already and am working on chapter three now.

What do you think?  I haven't seen anyone write a story about someone in Victoria's army getting imprinted by a wolf yet.
