~The Weekend~

*Aphmau's PoV*

I'm in the kitchen baking cookies when the doorbell rings. Setting the timer for the oven, I walk over and answer the door. It's Garroth. His hair is all messed up and it looks as though he just got out of bed. He has a small, sad smile on his face. I look at him in confusion.

"Garroth?" I greet, "Hi. What are you doing here? Aaron's out if you changed your mind."

He shakes his head. "No Aph," he says, letting himself in, "I need to tell you something."

"Oh? What is it?"

"It's... kinda personal..." he trails off. I laugh slightly, closing the door.

"Well in that case," I say, gesturing for him to sit on the couch near the TV.

He walks around to the front and sits on the red piece of furniture while I grab a plate of cookies, no chocolate of course, and put them on the coffee table before taking one myself. I gesture for him to grab one as well, which he does.

"So," I say, biting into the cookie, a smile on my face, "What did you want to tell me?"

"Uh, I... uh..." he seems to be having trouble finding the right words. He takes a deep breath. "I may have a crush on someone."

My eyes widen and so does my grin. "On who?"

"U-uh...." he trails off, "I... Aphmau? If I tell you, do you PROMISE not to think of me differently?"

"Of course, Garroth! You're one of my best friends. I'd never think of you differently."

He takes a deep breath before saying something else. "And promise not to scream? At least not at your full potential?"

Now this makes me raise an eyebrow. "Scream?" I think aloud, "Why would I? Who do you have a crush on?" Irene, I hope it's not me. I don't think it is. He hasn't seemed like that around me. Wait... who has he been like that around? Wait... is it? No, it couldn't be... could it?

"I h-have a c-crush on... L-Laurance," Garroth concludes. I gasp, covering my mouth and letting out a muffled squeal. Then I took my had off my mouth.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! OHMYIRENEOHMYIRENEOHMYIRENEOHMYIRENE!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" I literally scream. Garroth covers his ears and winces. Wow I must have been really loud because within the span of 5 minutes, Katelyn breaks down the door, Kawaii~Chan right behind her.

"MY DOOR!!!" I yell.

"APH!!!" Katelyn yells walking over to the couch and shaking me, "WHAT HAPPENED? WHAT'D I MISS???"

"Katelyn~Soma!" KC says apprehensively, "Leave Aphmau~Senpai alone! Oh. Hi Garroth~Kun! I didn't see you there."

"Hi Kawaii~Chan," Garroth says, wincing, "When on earth with the ringing in my ears stop? Aphmau?? Why'd you have to scream?"

He lays back on the couch holding his head.

"Oh, Garroth hun, I'm so sorry," I say comforting him.

"So... Aph why did you scream?" Katelyn asks me inquisitively.

"Well..." I trail off making eye contact with Garroth He looks worried, but like he's considering it.

*Garroth's PoV*

Shit. Well, I know Aph won't let me tell them unless I say she can. She may be stubborn, but she's not mean. That's why I told her in the first place. I just didn't expect her to scream that loudly. Hmm...

(A/N: Warning. The following conversation will have poorly translated Spanish 'cause I don't speak it, but I know Aph can and some say Garroth probably can. For those of you, if any, who can speak it, don't be offended. It was the Internet, not me.)

"¿Le dirían a alguien?" (Would they tell anyone?) I ask in Spanish. Katelyn and KC give us confused looks.

"No, yo no lo creo. Este es un asunto privado. Sería cruel de su parte contarlo." (No, I don't think so. This is a private matter. It would be cruel of them to tell.) She says back.

"Sin embargo, gritarían, ¿verdad?" (They would scream though, right?)

"Probablemente." (Probably.)

I sigh. "Bueno, siempre y cuando no alerten a todo el vecindario ... Claro. Por qué no?" (Well as long as they don't alert the whole neighbourhood... Sure. Why not?)

Aph smiles at me while I cover my ears in preparation of the aftermath. I don't hear what Aphmau is saying, but I see her lips moving to form the words; "Garroth told me he has a crush on Laurance." Katelyn and KC's eyes light up and they start fangirling like all hell went loose. Aph must have told them not to scream because I don't hear much. And that's with my sensitive hearing because, I'm a werewolf.

I blush furiously. Thank Irene the ringing from before stopped! I couldn't deal with that. I take my hands off my ears to immediately cover them up again. Katelyn and KC are still screaming. Or, they were until Kawaii~Chan passes out and Katelyn stops and does some weird arm movement that calms her down. I uncover my ears again and look over the back of the couch at the unconscious meif'wa on the floor.

"Is she okay?" I ask concerned.

"I think so..." Aphmau answers, "She'll be out for a few minutes."

"But," Katelyn buts in. Aphmau and I turn to face her. "We have more important things to talk about! Garroth...?" the blue-haired girl almost sings.

"Shit," I whisper, blushing furiously.

"Oh my Irene! So it's true? You actually have a crush on Laurance?" she half screams in excitement.

"Yeah..." I rub the back of my neck nervously.

"Okay, okay," Aphmau turns to Katelyn with a serious look, "We need a plan."

"Yeah!" Katelyn agrees, "But what?"

Oh my Irene. I'm in too deep now.

*Laurance's PoV*

My phone buzzes on the coffee table, so I close my book, making a mental note of were I'm up to, and pick it up.

"Hello?" I say into the speaker.

"Heya!" I hear my twin answer back, "I'm almost there."

"Oh sweet!"

"Laurance, at Plaza Lane, do I turn left or right to get to MyStreet?"

"Neither. Go straight ahead then make a left at the roundabout."

"Ah, okay. Thanks bro."

I feel a slight migraine randomly that disappears as soon as it appears.

"Ah shit!" I say my phone still up to my ear my other hand cradling my head. I hear Lauren swear from the other end as well.

"You felt that, right?" she asks me.

"Yeah," I respond, "Irene. I hoped this would stop happening."

"Well the radius is expanding, that means we're almost past it I think..."

"Well, let's hope we're out of this soon."

"Yeah. Let's hope..."

There's silence until I hear a car driving up the street.

"That you?" I ask her.

"Yup. See ya in like, ten seconds. Your house is the blue, modern style one, yeah?"

"Yep! See ya, Ren."

"Bye Laur."

I hang up and look out the window to see a blue car parking in the driveway. I open the door just as Lauren closes the door to here car. She turns around with a huge smile on her face. She runs over and hugs me.

"Ah! It's so good to see you!" she almost squeals.

"Good to see you to!" I say, with a stupid grin on my face.

It's been too long since I saw my twin sister. Well, we weren't always twins. We were always two separate people, but a potions accident caused her to be more like me. Long story short, at the orphanage I spent a lot of my younger years, we learned normal academics like any other children. And once during a potions lesson, we mixed the potion wrong and we got caught in the fray. Lauren was affected more by the potion, so she was more like me. I guess. To be honest, I'm fine with having a twin. I just wonder if she's fine with being someone different.

*Lauren's PoV* (My OC)

My twin brother pulls away from the hug, a stupid grin plastered on his face. I grin back. Him and I were always similar, sometimes freakishly so, so the incident with the potions in the orphanage that I won't explain again for the sake of plot progression didn't really have much of an impact on me. I just have a twin now.

"Who is this, Little Laurance?" an emo voice that I don't recognise says from the doorway. Laurance and I turn around to see a black-haired boy with a black mask and sweater standing in the doorway.

"Oh, Zane, this is Lauren," my brother introduces me, "Lauren, Zane."

"Hi!" I greet smiling.

"Yeah, hi," Zane says sarcastically.

"Didn't you say you lived with two people?" I ignore Zane's rudeness and turn to Laurance. "Where's the other guy?"

"He said that he was heading over to Aph's place," Laurance answers my question.

"Oh. Who's Aph?"

"Aphmau? That one girl I introduced you to the other week over Skype?"

It takes me a moment to remember. "Oh yeah!"

Laurance laughs at my stupidity and I playfully punch him in the arm. Zane just rolls his one visible eye and walks back inside. My twin offers to help with some of my stuff and goes to the trunk of my car to unpack it. I brought two suitcases instead of only one.

"You look like you packed for a month-long holiday!" Laurance exclaims, dragging one of my suitcases out of the trunk while I grab the other one.

"Yeah... about that," I explain, "Something may have happened back home, and Hayden and Elizabeth wanted Cadenza, Caleb and I out of the house. They said it was really important that we stay away from them because they don't want us to get caught up in manners we shouldn't get caught up in. So, I might need to stay here longer than we anticipated."

"Oh. So, where'd Cadenza and Caleb go?"

"Cadenza made an arrangement for them to stay with some of her friends. I honestly don't get why Caleb can't stay."

"So, I take it you don't know what happened?"

I shake my head. "No. I'm quite worried though."

After we drag my suitcases down to the basement of Laurance's house, he offers to take me around the street to meet his friends. I agree and we set off down the street, stopping off at each house. I meet Dante, Travis, Lucinda, Kim, Vlyad, Eric and Sylvanna. We go to knock on the door of the next house when we hear screaming coming from the one next to it.

"What was that?" Laurance jumps, his eyes flashing. I comfort him.

"That was a fangirl scream," I state, "Not a danger scream."

He calms down. "Yeah, and you'd know all about that, wouldn't you?" he jokes causing me to playfully punch him in the arm. "Well, that sounded like Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan so, I don't think they're in here."

He walks back towards the side walk and waits for me to catch up. We then walk over to the house next door when I notice something off.

"Wait," I say, stopping in my tracks, "Why isn't there a door there?"

"Ooh. Uh," Laurance says, noticing it too, "I have no idea."

I hear talking from inside the house.

"... Katelyn! We need a better plan than that!" one voice says.

"Well, I don't know! You're the best person for this stuff!" another responds.

Laurance obviously doesn't hear it because he walks up the stairs to the porch and knocks on the window next to where the door should be. I follow him up the stairs and both of us peer inside the house.

"Aph, why is there no door?" he asks a raven-haired girl who stands in the livingroom area.

Everyone in the house freezes for a brief moment, then Aphmau recognises me.

"Ah! Lauren!" she half screams running up to greet me. She envelopes me in a hug. "Awe it's so good to see you!"

"You too!" I say excitedly.

"Aph, you know her?" a blue-haired girl asks Aphmau.

"Sorta. Laurance introduced me to her once on a Skype call."

"And why does Laurance know her?" she asks, turning to us and CLEARLY suggesting something. Laurance and I turn to each other with the same face and turn back to the blue-haired girl.

"Twins," we state in unison.

"Oh."

We burst out laughing.

"Laurance was taking me around the street to meet everyone," I explain.

"Speaking of which," Laurance says, "Ren, this is Katelyn, Kawaii~Chan and Garroth. You already know Aph." He gestures to each person respectively. They wave, and I wave back. "So, what were you all doing here?" he asks as Aph lets us in.

"W-well, u-uh..." Garroth stutters, making me raise an eyebrow.

"Katelyn~Soma was breaking the door down," Kawaii~Chan says. Garroth looks as though his life was just saved. It's weird, but I shrug it off.

"Yeah, I still have no idea why she did that," Aph says, offering us a plate of cookies. Laurance and I each take one.

"Hey! I heard screaming and thought someone was in danger!" Katelyn defends.

"Yeah, so did Laur!" I joke, causing him to punch me playfully.

"Why were you screaming?" he asks. Everyone in the room goes pale. Garroth blushes. Oh! I think I see what's going on here!

"Where you guys fangirling over some TV series or something?" I ask, shooting Garroth a quick glance.

"Y-yeah!" Aph stutters, "Yeah! Psh that's TOTALLY IT!" She emphasizes the words 'totally it'.

After a while of talking, Laurance, Garroth and I are about to leave.

"Oh, Laurance. Garroth. Ren," Aphmau stops us, "Aaron and I are having a little get-together this evening. You wanna come?"

"Yeah sure," Garroth replies.

"Yeah," Laurance says.

"I don't see why not," I answer.

"Cool!" she chirps, "Can you invite Zane too?"

"Of course," Garroth replies, "Bye Aph. And, uh... thanks."

"No problem! See you three later!" she goes to close the door, but Katelyn broke it down, so it doesn't exist anymore. Laurance, Garroth and I laugh slightly as we wave and walk across the street back to their house.

"So," Garroth says, "You're Laurance's twin sister?"

"Yup!" I reply happily.

"So who's older?"

This question causes Laurance and I to glare at each other. Sibling rivalry, am I right? We've been supposedly 'related' for so many years we practically are siblings. After a few moments of glaring, we turn back to Garroth.

"We have no idea," we say in unison.

The three of us are a laughing mess by the time we get back to the house. I go into the basement to get my things sorted. Laurance comes down with me while Garroth talks to Zane about Aph's get-together this evening. Laurance and I spend a few minutes sorting in silence, until he breaks it.

"Ren, there's something I need to tell you."

Heya ya'll! (The f*ck did I just say?)

Anyways! Things have been quite hectic for me lately, with preparing for school to go back where I am and things like that, so I haven't really had much time to write my main story, but I had this chapter written already so I was just like: "Eh, I'll publish this one."

Again, this isn't my main story, so don't expect there to be a solid updating schedule for this one, but Untrustworthy's update schedule will be changed to a chapter every fortnight so I still have time to work on school work and things like that. Sorry if it's an inconvenience.

Wow. I'm never usually factual in these author notes. Some one get me help. I think I'm sick! XD
