Pandit entered in cabin seeing Sameer also sitting at his desk, same like Naina... all lost... covering his face with his palms ...roughly loosened tie hanging in his neck, disheveled hair... in a total mess...😆

He tip-toed to his desk and slowly tapped on his shoulder asking in a sympathetic tone, "nahin kaha gaya..."

Sameer shook his head with a pity look, "forget it... I can't do this..." he jerked this idea and tried to concentrate on his work but all in vain....

Getting failed on all his attempts he frustrated more throwing daggers on Pandit, "sab teri wajah se hai... subah sab theek tha par tu ne mera dimaag kharaab kar diya... achchha khaasa baat kar raha tha aur ab ek shabd nahin nikal raha munh se... na jaane kya soch rahi hogi mere baare mein... don't you utter a word now... I don't need any of your stupid ideas... idiot..."

Pandit laughed on his situation, "teri haalat dekh kar ek sher yaad aa raha hai... irshaad farmaiyega...

Khuda Ne Jab Aapko Banaya Hoga,

Wah wah... wah wah....😂😂

Seeing his deadly glares, Pandit sits in front of him suppressing his laughter and silently forward a card towards him, "yeh le teri problem ka solution... chaahe toh thanks kah sakta hai..." he said showing attitude raising his collar to praise himself...

Sameer glared him, "now what's this... don't dare you to give me any new idea... sorry but I can't handle all this anymore... leave it... daantana hota hai toh alag baat hai par yeh lovey dovey talks mujhse nahin hoti... isase achchha toh ek mail mein likh kar bhej deta... kitna aasaan hota...." he said giving an irritated look and pissed off from himself on his continuous failures...

He planned to spend some lonely time with her but didn't get courage to invite her... even if not in terms of a proper date, at least he can take her out or arrange some gift for her to make her happy... but in his entire life he never approached any girl, even not sure how to initiate a normal talk with girls...

Pandit smiled tapping on the card, "it's an invitation card... it's your favorite restaurant and they are opening another floor by next week and they want you to do their inauguration... I managed to book the whole roof-top for you today to get some privacy and had dinner saying you want to do a quality check first... so, if you want, you can go and check if ambience and food is good or not..." he said with a naughty smile on his face...

Sameer looked at him in confusion asking, "are you really crazy... here I am so tensed since morning and you are asking me to go out for dinner.... sorry I am not in a mood to eat outside today..." he passed the card back to him with an irritating smile...

Pandit hit on his forehead, "you are so hopeless... who told you to go alone... invite someone special if you want..." he said winking to him putting some idea in his brain...

Soon realization hit him plastering a wide smile on his face... but in next moment his smile vanished getting more confused, "will she agree to go out with me...? I don't think so..." his face turned gloomy thinking she will not agree to go with him for dinner...

Pandit smiled mischievously, "don't forget you are boss... how can an assistant refuse to join for a dinner party even if it's fake official... rest up to you... think about it..." he left from cabin leaving him again all confused whether to ask her or not...

Am I going to ask her for a dinner date to celebrate our first month anniversary, to spend some time in alone like a couple... really...?💗

Naina was about to leave with Preeti for lunch when her intercom again buzzed... seeing Sameer's name appeared she huffed in frustration, "not again..."

Preeti chuckled knowing how since morning Naina is irritated with his weird behavior... she gestures her to go and check first...

Naina knocked before entering when saw Sameer talking with someone on phone... she waited for him to finish... he finished his call and turned his full attention back to his laptop screen saying, "tonight we have to go for an official dinner... so be ready... okay..." his tone was as cold as usual... no expressions...

Naina was already frustrated with his weird behavior since morning and now top of that his sudden call to attend this official dinner party... she was not even well dressed for an official dinner and this time doesn't want to take his obligation for this... but as usual she can't even deny him... she nodded her head and left from cabin taking the address...

Sameer taking a dep sigh smiled feeling relieved... finally, a big task accomplished...

Seeing Naina coming out from his cabin all lost Preeti asked in confusion, "hey what happen... any tension...?"

Naina shook her head, getting confused whether to tell her or not... they both went to canteen to have their lunch but Naina was all lost throughout the time, having no idea how to handle this matter now... seeing no other option Naina finally share her problem, "Preeti mujhe aaj sir ke saath ek official dinner par jaana hai... vaise I don't mind these things but seems my dress is not much perfect to go with him... iss tarah gayi toh phir se daant padegi... ab kya karun... mana bhi nahin kar sakti... official hai... vahaan clients bhi honge toh... pehle pata hota toh kuchh plan kar leti par achanak yeh sab... samajh nahin aa raha kya karun..." she purposely hid how last time he took her to Sunaina's fashion studio and arrange her make-over...

Preeti laughed on her cuteness, "Naina is mein itna sochne ki kya baat hai... dekh, vaise tu kuchh bhi pehanegi toh achchhi hi lagegi par agar tujhe chahiye toh yahaan se walking distance par hi ek mall hai... abhi lunch over hone mein time hai toh hum ek naya dress le aate hai tere liye... tu change kar lena shaam ko dinner par jaane se pehle... mein teri help kar dungi ready hone mein... so simple..." she grinned widely giving an instant solution to her problem...

Naina hesitates when Preeti keep her hand on hers, "I know shayad tera budget nahin hai par don't worry na... mein hoon... tu abhi mujhse le le aur baad mein de dena jab salary aa jaaye..."

Naina denied taking her help, "nahin aisi baat nahin... mere paas hai thodi savings aur ek do din mein salary aane wali hai toh I can manage with it... bas aise dress lene jaana, mujhe theek nahin lag raha... thoda jyaada nahin ho jayega..." she feels hesitate to spend money in buying a dress just for a normal dinner....

Preeti convinced her knowing her apprehensions, "theek hai na, ek dress hi toh hai, itna kya sochna... aur hum koshish karenge ki tere budget mein hi ek achchhi dress le... okay..." Naina agreed finally and after quickly finishing their lunch they both went out to the shopping mall...

The moment they came down from building saw the same two men who were standing outside Preeti's building a day before, discussing something with other guards...

Preeti assuming them some cheap stalkers and about to burst but Naina hold her arm, "shh... kuchh mat kehna... yeh Mr Maheshwari ke bodyguard hai... voh hum donon akele the isliye hamari safety ke liye bheje the unhone... mujhe kal hi Pandit ne bataya tha... so no need to worry..."

Preeti looked at her with shocking expression, "what... I mean... Mr Maheshwari ke guards... mere ghar ke baahar... poori raat... hamari security kar rahe the..." 

She paused for a moment and suddenly shout, "no no no... hamari nahin... madam voh aapki security ke liye the sirf... I can't believe yaar he is so caring about you... aur tu isey normal le rahi hai... dekh mein kah rahi hoon kuchh toh gadbad hai par tu maanati hi nahin... mujhe na pakka lag raha hai ki Mr Maheshwari ko kuchh toh feelings hai tujhe lekar... pata nahin tujhe kyun nahin lagta..." she asked that why always she got suspicious on his behavior towards Naina... it doesn't seems like a normal boss and employee relation...

Naina hiding her blushed face hit on her head playfully, "bakwaas bandh kar aur isase pehle ki lunch time over ho jaaye, chal kar jaldi se shopping kar lete hai... khabardaar kuchh aur socha iske aage toh... it's just ki hum donon tere ghar mein akele the aur maine subah bina dekhe darwaja khol diya tha... nothing more..."

Preeti laughed encircled her hand around her shoulder, "pata hai Naina, aaj mujhe ek gaana yaad aa raha hai... aur shakal usmein apne CEO ki dikh rahi hai..."

Naina looked at her confusion that what comes in Preeti's mind visualizing Sameer... to break her silence Preeti starts singing dramatically pointing towards Naina...

How dramatically Preeti sings and laughed makes Naina's face even more redder... she lowers her head and went ahead when Preeti ran chasing her shouting from back, "arey Naina... mujhe toh le jaa... varna paagal ke saath dinner date par kya pehanegi..." they both laughed heartily and went for their shopping while making fun and teasing to each other...

Pandit entered in his cabin seeing him smiling sitting alone... he teased him, "so all set for dinner date... but please do not show your tantrums at all... okay... try to be cool if possible or if not, at least be normal... aur please daantana mat aaj usey..." he gave all possible speech to go on a date, as best of his knowledge...

Sameer annoyed of his lectures which he was hearing for so long, "will you please shut up... I am not going out for dinner first time... so not a big deal for me... and we are known to each other for a month, so I know how to handle her..." he said making faces...

Pandit laughed, "ya I know, but it's your first dinner date... voh bhi teri dream girl ke saath... so just trying to give you some tips... ab aaj tak tu ne kabhi kisi ladki ke saath akele time spent nahin kiya toh socha thode ideas hi de dun..." he laughed and left leaving him all alone to think and plan something different for her... to make this day memorable for her... but in turn make him more nervous and confused... it's true that he never ever had dinner with any girl in alone and has no experience in this field...

A brilliant idea clicked in his mind and he took his mobile in hand, starts surfing what all can be done on a dinner date... he was totally clueless what all needed to be prepared for a date... it's his first time and he doesn't want to fail in impressing her...

Though he was the most charming and handsome boy in his school and college, but he never gets attached to any girl... except Sunaina, he was never had any girl in his group as his friend and with her also he always maintained a decent distance... she was always be in love with him but never forced herself knowing he doesn't have such feelings for her... they both have mutually accepted and always good with each other, without any expectations...

He keeps thinking, "yes, Pandit is right... I even don't know ki first date par baat kya karte hai... hum ek mahine se saath hai but I don't know ki usey kya pasand hai kya nahin... voh kis baat se khush hoti hai... kabhi maine janane ki koshish hi nahin ki... pata hota toh koi gift arrange kar leta par I really don't know anything about her... par voh na jaane kaise mere bina kahe meri saari baat samajh jaati hai... she is so cute and innocent... hope aaj ki shaam usey thoda khush kar paaun... vaise bhi uski hansi kitni pyaari hai jo meri wajah se hamesha gaayab rehti hai... but I will try my best to make this evening memorable for her... I wish mujhe pata hota usey khaane mein kya pasand hai... ek kaam karta hoon restaurant ki saari dishes order kar dunga... jo man hoga voh kha legi... wonderful idea..." he grinned widely on his terrific idea to order each and everything from menu card for her to eat...

At shopping mall, Preeti chose some decent dresses for Naina which she too liked, ensuring it covered her properly... she doesn't want to get humiliation from him to get blame of exposing herself in front of guests...

They were busy in selecting the dress when her phone buzzed... seeing Kamya, she picked up excitedly on video call showing her dresses which she selected...

Kamya make faces, "Naina yeh kya out of fashion dresses le rahi hai... mujhse kaha hota toh ek se badhkar ek western dresses dilwa deti... tu bhi na kiske saath aayi hai dress lene..." her tone clearly shown her disliking towards Preeti...

Preeti keeping herself cool replied, "voh kya hai na Kamya, Naina ko na sirf dinner par jaana hai, kisi disco party mein nahin... aur vaise bhi na hi usey yun fashionable dresses ki jarurat hai aur na aur logon ki tarah ek dozen make-up thopane ki... voh simple bhi rahegi toh best hi lagegi..."

Kamya replied rudely, "Preeti, you please stay out of it... mein Naina se baat kar rahi hun... aur Naina tu, kam se kam Sameer ke standard ka toh sochti... tere saath kitna awkward feel karega voh... maana official dinner hai par after all tu usaki assistant hai... usaki reputation ka sawaal hai..."

Naina feeling hurt replied keeping her tone low, "Kamya, yeh Mr Maheshwari ka decision hai mujhe le jaane ka... agar unhein bura lage toh unka problem par mein kisi ke liye nahin badlungi... mein jaisi hun theek hun..."

Kamya laughed saying, "Naina tu kab seekhegi yeh sab... agar mujhe jaana hota Sameer ke saath dinner par toh mein aise ready hoti ki sab dekhte rah jaate, aur ek tu hai jise farq hi nahin padta... how boring you are..."

Naina disconnect the call quickly saying bye as doesn't want to discuss anymore with her that too in front of Preeti...

Preeti asked suddenly getting suspicious on Kamya's behavior, "Naina tujhe nahin lagta yeh Kamya, Mr Maheshwari ko kuchh jyaada hi line de rahi thi... I mean voh teri friend hai aur tere hi boss ke saath dinner date par jaane ki baat... isn't it bit awkward..."

Naina too feel it bit strange but knowing Kamya's intention to support her only, she shrugged all other thoughts... she quickly make the payment after deciding a simple but elegant yellow color, full sleeve Anarkali suit with contrast blue silk dupatta for herself which was in her budget too... they both came back office fully satisfied but somehow she was excited and nervous too as first time she is going with him in official dinner meeting... after Rocky's incident she doesn't want to create any more issues for him and spoil any business relations... though she has no idea how to handle it but has confidence that Sameer will be around with her for all support...

Before going back to her seat, she gave the dress to Preeti to keep it with her, "tu apne paas hi rakh le... mein shaam ko le lungi jab ready hona hoga... agar kisi ne dekha toh thoda awkward lagega..." she doesn't want Sameer to show that how much preparation she was doing for a dinner... it might be normal for him to go for an official dinner with clients but for her... a strange but different feeling...

She came back seeing Sameer left for an urgent meeting outside... Pandit left a message at her desk that they will be back by evening and pick her up from office for dinner together...

She starts completing her work fast as needs time to dressed up also... knowing Preeti's excitement she was aware that it will take much time for her to get ready.... Preeti already decided her make-up and hair style which she will do for her... crazy but cute...

Sameer came back before time and saw her missing on her desk... he too went back to his cabin thinking she must be around somewhere and gets busy in completing his pending work... coming back on his way to office he planned to buy some flowers for her but not aware of her choice... what if she is allergic to some scents... finally after getting a lot of teasing and scolding from Pandit for not aware of her likes, dislikes, he ordered all variety of flowers and asked them to deliver directly at restaurant...

Pandit laughed making fun of him, "aisa lagta hai aaj restaurant mein khaane ki jagah sirf flowers hi nazar aayenge... phoolon ki sabji, phoolon ka raayta... dhyaan rakhna kahin roti ki jagah phoolon ki pattiyaan na khila dena meri behen ko..."

Seeing time to leave for dinner, Sameer called at her intercom, but it went unattended making him suspicious, "she never gets missing from her desk for so long... even since he is back in office, she didn't come inside his cabin with his coffee in evening too... she is always very punctual... strange..."

After waiting for some more time, he again tried calling her but no luck... getting frustrated he dialed her mobile which went unattended after ringing for a longer time... making him more worried for her now...

Seeing his tension, Pandit went to other floors to check on her... he went to Preeti and asked but surprised to see her also very tensed for Naina, "mein kab se uska hi wait kar rahi hun... usne kaha tha ki kisi dinner mein jaana hai toh uski dress mere paas hai... voh apna phone bhi nahin utha rahi kabse... lunch ke baad se mujhse ek baar bhi milane nahin aayi..."

Pandit came back with Preeti and informed Sameer that she seems missing for so long... they all get worried when finally, Pandit called back at home to check but she was not at home also...

While searching some clue at her desk, Preeti found her purse and mobile at her desk only but on silent mode... on Pandit instance Preeti called Kamya also to check for Naina from her phone only but disconnect the call making excuse... Naina was not with her also...

Pandit and Preeti keep searching her at all possible places in office at each floor but didn't get any clue about her... later while checking with guard at entry gate they were informed that they had seen her going out with someone few hours back... she seems in some tension and was very disturbed...

Preeti informed them about how they went out during lunch time for shopping... he realized how much preparation she has done to go for dinner party with him... but now she is missing...

Sameer checked on CCTV placed by him viewing at her desk... he found her talking with a guard few hours earlier and then she left with him hurriedly... Pandit was surprised to see the guard and informed that he himself fired this guard one week back only... he was drunk at his duty and misbehaved with others...

Sameer shouts back, "how can someone come to this floor without permission and took her out... and why the hell she has gone out with anyone..."

He looked at Pandit suspicious for Sharad but Pandit confirmed, "he is still in hospital... he can't do this... I am sure... vaise bhi he is in police custody... uski himmat nahin ki voh Naina ko haath bhi laga de ab aur na hi uske paas itne paise hai ki kisi ko hire kar sake kidnapping ke liye... yeh uske bas ki baat nahin..."

They tried all possible ways but didn't get any clue of her... Pandit and Preeti went out looking for her seeing him in so much tension... Sameer felt so helpless and feeling somehow guilty to not to keep her safe... he even doesn't know where to find her... they were never be in talking terms to know anything about each other... is she is having any other relative or friend... even if so, why will she go out with guard... also knowing Naina, he knew she is not so careless to go anywhere without informing anyone...
