Sameer called Naina to his cabin in alone... seeing her since morning he was not able to resists anymore and finds excuses to call her, to let her be in front of him only... staring her through cctv seems not sufficient after two long days separation...

Naina sits taking seat in front of him when Sameer trying to make atmosphere soothe starts discussing on the project going on... whole time his eyes were glued on her face whereas the later was feeling shy not even able to look at him...

Suddenly Sameer asked, "how's Preeti... is she fine now..."

Naina nodded her head and lift her face looking straight into his eyes asked, "thanks... voh guards ke liye... par iski jarurat nahin thi..."

"it was for your safety only... any problem" Sameer replied raising his eyebrows.

"were you worried about me?" she asked instantly looking straight into his eyes which Sameer felt nervous... though he himself was hell worried about her but again it was not easy for him to accept his feeling openly but she never left any chance to confront on any of his actions...

They both looked at each other and their eyes froze... many unspoken emotions were residing in their eyes... there were many unsaid words were there... time was halted for them... a prevailed silent surround them with pleasant feeling... their world seems to be stopped...

She waited for him but as usual he didn't reply... although he didn't answer but his expressions obviously cleared everything... she got goosebumps all over her body and felt the heat on her cheeks... seeing her reaction, Sameer felt amused...

Sudden voice of door opening gets them back to their senses, seeing Pandit barged inside cabin and sits with them unknown to what's going on... Pandit keep discussing on the project but both were lost in their own thoughts...

Naina was distracted time and again trying to find out the reason why Sameer has sent the guards to keep an eye on her.... why he always behaves adversely... from last two days he didn't bother to call her asking her well-being but sent guards for her safety... even he himself came to meet Preeti and bring her dress also... but now since morning he didn't utter a single word to her and behaving strangely... as usual never replied to her questions... totally confused...

Sameer, himself was so lost seeing her glowing face... he was missing her terribly and today she was looking splendid even in a simple dress without make-up... he wants to keep her right in front of his eyes but unable to speak much... he wants to praise her but to his bad luck Naina asked reason for sending guards... later, Pandit barged in his cabin and took part in their discussion... even Naina also seems bit lost... she might be tired or stressed for all happenings with Preeti and he didn't know how to console her...

Seeing them both lost, Pandit tapped his pen on desk gaining their attention...

Coming back to sense she apologize slowly for her absent-minded behavior in meeting, "I am sorry... I mean..." she feels nervous on his constant gaze on her... little did she knew that the person sitting in front of her was equally lost and paid no attention to his surroundings...

Pandit seeing both behaving strangely took the initiative and called off the meeting giving excuse of lunch time... Naina quickly stood and left out from cabin...

Before Sameer asked Pandit replied, "ab tu usey yun ghoor ghoor ke dekh raha tha toh maine usey baahar bhej diya... ek shabd toh bola jaata nahin uske saamne... tere aise dekhne se kitna darr jaati hai bechaari..."

Sameer giving him a murderous look, "do din baad aaj mila hoon... thoda dekh liya toh us mein kya buraai hai... vaise bhi kitni pyaari lag rahi hai... bilkul mere sapno ki pari jaisi..." he said again lost in her beauty shamelessly appreciating his own deeds of staring her...

Pandit laughed on his silliness, "haan toh taarif karni chahiye thi na... ya toh cctv se apne screen par usko dekhta rehta hai ya saamne se ghurega... sharam nahin aati apani hi biwi ko aise chhup chhup kar dekhte huye... besharam..."

Sameer laughed slowly to tease him, "apni biwi ko hi toh ghoor raha hoon... teri tarah nahin ki saamne hota hai par baat bhi nahin ki jaati... mujhe sab pata hai kaise subah se kai baar chakkar laga chuka hai tu HR department ke, par andar nahin gaya... kahe toh tera cabin vahin shift kar doon..."

Pandit scratching his head nervously asked, "haan toh tu bhi toh koi idea nahin deta... dekh mein Naina se teri kitni taarif karta hoon aur ek tu hai... useless... please madad kar na thodi..."

Sameer laughed on his pleading face asking, "achchha ji, kal toh kah raha tha ki iss jhanjhat mein nahin padna... ab kya hua... dekha aisa hi hota hai... pyaar pe kisi ka kaabu nahin hota... bas uski ek jhalak aur saari zindagi ki planning palat jaati hai... hum sirf usi raah par chalte hai jis par hamara pyaar humein le jaaye... na koi planning, na koi strategies... just follow your heart..."

Pandit smiled appreciating his thought about this relation, "yaar jab tu pyaar ko itna samajhta hai, mehsoos karta hai toh kehta kyun nahin... dekh aaj kitni pyaari si lag rahi hai... jyaada nahin toh taarif hi kar de... khush ho jaayegi..."

Sameer smiled fixing his gaze on screen, "pyaari toh hamesha hi lagti hai... tabhi toh har waqt apni najron ke saamne rakhta hoon, chaahe voh office ho ya ghar... manzil ka toh nahin pata par lagta hai agar yeh saath rahi toh raah jaroor aasaan ho jaayegi..."

Seeing its lunch time and to control her own raging desires, Naina left to see Preeti who was trying to keep herself busy in workload to forget her miseries... Naina felt bad for her but composing herself she walked to her cabin, "kya Preeti... mere pet mein chuhe kud rahe hai aur tu abhi tak yahin hai... roj toh tu mujhe lunch yaad karati hai aur aaj bhool gayi... chal jaldi se, mujhe bohot bhukh lagi hai..." she said showing fake anger to keep her mood distracted...

Preeti was in no mood to eat anything... she tried a lot giving excuse of workload but Naina gets adamant and took her out for lunch, "chal aaj tujhe apni pasand ka khaana khilati hun... roj roj canteen ka khaa kar bore ho gaye hai na... yahin paas mein ek restaurant hai, vahin chalate hai donon..."

Preeti finally agreed and they both left out from office after informing to Pandit, as Sameer was busy in some meeting...

They reached to a nearby restaurant and ordered for their food... soon Naina's phone beeped and again lots of message starts coming from Sharad, making her disturbed... she deleted all the messages and keep her phone aside... Naina keeps herself busy in chatting to lift her mood, in which finally she succeeded...

After having delicious lunch, they were about to leave the restaurant when Preeti hold her hand and just pulled her in a soft hug, "thanks Naina... mein bata nahin sakti iss waqt tera saath mujhe kitna sukoon de raha hai... lagta hai jaise mein akeli nahin hun... koi hai iss duniya mein jise mein abhi bhi apna kah sakti hun... thank you so much..."

Naina wiped her tears, "dost bhi kehti hai aur thanks bhi bolti hai... galat baat... aaj ke baad jab bhi man udaas ho mere paas aa jaana... khabardaar jo khud ko akela samjha... mein hoon na tere saath..."

Preeti smiled looking into her eyes and asked suddenly, "Naina, tu ne kabhi apne baare mein mujhe kuchh nahin bataya... matlab tu kahaan rehti hai, tera pariwaar, tere apne... mujhe kyun hamesha teri aankhon mein vahi udaasi, vahi akelapan dikhta hai jo aaj meri aankhon mein hai... shayad aaj mein tera dard mehsoos kar pa rahi hun... kuchh hai na tere dil mein jo tujhe har pal dard deta hai, mujhe bhi nahin batayegi..." she looked at her with hope that might be today she reveal her pain...

Naina surprised how perfectly Preeti read her face... she said slowly, "Preeti... tujhse jhuth nahin kehna chahti par abhi shayad sach batane ka waqt nahin aaya... mujhe thoda samay de, mein khud tujhe sab bata dungi... par vishwas rakh, tujhse chhupana nahin chahti kuchh bhi... bas mein khud sab mein itni uljhi huyi hun ki kuchh samajh nahin pa rahi... I just need some more time to open up..."

Preeti understood her dilemma and smiled keeping her hand on her's, "I believe you... jab man kare, tab bata dena... I am always with you..." they both smiled and left out from restaurant...

The moment they stepped out from restaurant a person hold their way to move ahead... Naina scared seeing him there when Preeti shouted, "oye kaun ho tum... saamne se hato... ladkiyon ko akele smajh kar badatmeeji karne ki jarurat nahin hai..." she tried to push him away when he stretched his hand and held Naina's wrist harshly pulling her with him ignoring Preeti's threat...

Naina tried to release her hand but his grip was even stronger than her protest... Preeti push him aside from Naina when he shouted back, "mujhe sirf Naina se baat karni hai... why are you coming in between us... don't disturb us... just leave us alone..."

Seeing Naina in shock and her scared face, Preeti pulled her behind herself to save, "tum ho kaun... aur aise kaise usko jabardasti lekar ja rahe ho apne saath... haath bhi mat lagana dobara, varna mujhse bura koi nahin hoga..." she assumed him some stalker who was harassing Naina... in morning itself she had seen two men standing outside her house... she was still not aware that they were guards send by Sameer for their safety only...

Person shouts in anger showing his red fiery eyes, "mein uska pati hun... samjhi tum... hato hamare beech mein se..."

Preeti shocked to listen... before she reacts heard Naina shouting back on the person, "tum mere pati nahin ho... mat bhulo hamara divorce ho chuka hai aur tum jaise ghatiya insaan se mera koi vaasta nahin hai... samjhe tum... we are divorced..."

She tried to go ahead ignoring him when again Sharad hold her wrist harshly to stop her, "look, Naina, mujhe tumse jaruri baat karni hai... kitne dinon se tumhein roj message kar raha hun, tum har baar mera message bina pade delete kar deti ho aur phir mera number bhi block kar deti ho... itna attitude kahaan se aa gaya tum mein..." he tightens his grip on her delicate wrist making her wince in pain...

Naina clenched her fists giving him a hard push, "tumhari himmat kaise huyi mujhe chhune ki bhi... hamara koi rishta nahin hai... samajh nahin aata tumhein... mujhe ghinn aati hai tumhare naam se bhi..."

Though Preeti was not aware of what's going on, but she still stands with her to support, "dekho jab voh kah rahi hai tumse baat nahin karni toh you can't force her... agar tum nahin gaye toh mein police ko bula lungi... and I mean it..."

Sharad fumed in anger glaring Naina, "tumhari itni himmat ho gayi ki tumhari dost mujhe police ki dhamki de rahi hai... dekh lunga mein tumhein... chhodunga nahin... mat bhulo phichhli baar kya haal kiya tha maine tumhara... aaj toh isne tumhein bacha liya par mein jaldi hi vaapas aaunga... tum bach nahin sakti mujhse... samjhi tum..." giving her warning he left from there fuming in anger...

Preeti seeing Naina shivering badly due to fear and crying hard, just pulled her in a tight hug to console her... seeing her breathing gets normal she cupped her face in her palms, "Naina, you okay na... look you don't need to explain anything right now... will talk later... just relax varna office mein log baatein banayenge... or if you want hum kahin aur chale..." Naina shook her head thinking what excuse she will give to Sameer for asking half day leave...

Naina calmed herself and they both walked till office... taking their elevators they settled down on their seats focusing on their work which was not getting possible for either of them now after what all happened suddenly...

Naina was totally lost that after almost two months why Sharad is chasing her so much... initially she ignored his messages and blocked his number but today he crossed his all limits and reached till her working place... that means he was aware that where she is working... and his looks were terrifying...

Since after their divorce, he never called her or chase for anything... she was expecting him to be busy in his own life, with his wife and would be baby, so what happened now... what he wants from her now...? she has left nothing to give her...

Preeti was already in messed condition that how she will live all alone after her parents... but seeing Naina's condition she feels more hurt knowing that at such a small age of just 21, Naina has got divorced... for her Naina is very simple, understanding and well behaved girl so how could she got married to such a beast like Sharad... and if they are divorced now then why he is after her... seeing Naina's anger it was very evident that she hates him and of course seeing his today's behavior with Naina, even Preeti starts hating that jerk... she really wants to know about her past but has to wait until Naina herself not spoke about it...

Naina was all lost in her thoughts crying silently as don't want another mess in her life... she is already struggling a lot all alone... she shuddered feeling someone standing beside her... she lifts her head to see Pandit standing there with a confused reaction seeing her in such state...

Pandit asked concernedly seeing her red puffed eyes, "Ms Agarwal, are you okay... what happen... you seem not well..."

Naina wiped her face showing normal and smiled weakly, "ya... I am fine... don't worry... it's just that we went out for lunch and it was very hot so I am feeling bit restless... but ya... all okay..." she said mocking on herself that how can her life be okay with all this mess... but she has no one with whom she can share her problems... who can help her to come out of this mess...

Pandit handed her file of Shah Industries informing, "Sameer has given these files for you... you already had all the details so fix up a meeting once legal documents get ready... just deal with legal department and if needed any help you can call our lawyer also... he wants you to handle it all alone... okay..."

Naina surprised that why he wants her to handle such an important deal all alone... though she had handled such deals in her previous job but this one is far much bigger than it... she was already blaming herself for messed up in Rocky's case and now another one... but knowing his adamancy, she didn't refuse and took the file from him... he must have thought wisely before giving her this task as he cleared her earlier that she is not worth to lose such big opportunities for him...

While handing her file, Pandit see bruise marks on her fair slender wrist... he frowned and left immediately from there to Sameer's cabin...

Pandit entered and informed, "I have given that file to her and passed your message..." seeing his cold tone Sameer surprisingly asked, "what happen to you now... why are you so upset?"

Pandit said getting angry suspecting him to be reason for her bruises, "I don't believe you can hurt her... why did you do this... I never interfere in your matter, but this is too much... this time you really crossed your limits..." he almost shouts on him... even if they are so close to each other but he will never allow Sameer to hurt her physically...

Sameer asked him confusingly, "what did you say... I hurt her... are you crazy.... why should I do this... even we didn't have any argument since morning... argue chhod baat tak nahin huyi hamari toh subah se..."

Pandit said confusingly, "I just saw bruise marks on her wrist so thought you..." he stopped in between seeing his sharp glanced fixed on him...

Pandit turned and left out from his cabin realizing his fault to misunderstood him... but he was adamant to find the reason behind her marks... he treats her like his sister than how can he allow anyone to hurt her like this...

Naina feels extremely tired and exhausted on all happenings but tried hard to focus on her work to rid out of all irrelevant happenings around her... with all this mess she even didn't notice the bruises on her wrist...

Her trance broke with the intercom beeped... seeing Sameer's name, she took a deep sigh and taking a note pad went inside to meet him...

She knocked and entered seeing him working on his laptop... he gestured her to come and sit... it usually happened very rare that he asked her to sit but jerking her thoughts she pulled a chair in front of him and waited for his instructions...

Sameer turned his gaze on her and surprised to see her... in morning she was indeed looking attractive and glowing but now her face was lifeless and pale... she looked different now... Sameer was render speechless...

Keeping himself calm, he diverts his gaze from her face as doesn't want her to feel uncomfortable... Sameer changed his mind and starts explaining her how to deal with the Shah collaboration... the important points to be kept in mind while discussion and all... seeing her keenly noting all points in note pad looking down, he rolled his wheelchair towards her side...

Naina was fully focused in making points when suddenly felt a soft grip on her wrist... Sameer gently brushed his fingers on her bruise and asked sternly, "who did this..."

Naina shivered with his tone and tried to pull back her hand but he didn't let it go... giving a stern look he asked again, "I asked who did this..."

Seeing her soft slender wrist with marks Sameer feels like something was pounding on his heart... he looked at her, but she didn't respond... how could she tell him that her ex-husband tried to molest her and did all this to her...

She uttered, "it's... it's nothing to worry for you... I am fine... I can manage..."

Though Sameer didn't want to go it easily but seeing her tensed face and adamancy to not to reveal, he leaves her hand... he straightened his back sitting firmly in front of her looking straight into her eyes... she shuddered in his intense gaze and lowered her head... they remain seated like this when seeing no reaction from her Sameer finally asked her to leave... she stood and hurriedly went out without giving a glance to him...

Sameer called Pandit in a harsh tone, "find out..." he disconnected the call and closed his eyes feeling helpless... why she never shares her problems with me... are we still stranger for each other?

Naina came back to her seat feeling extremely tired... mentally... she took a cup of coffee for her to keep herself relax but nothing worked... she closed her eyes covering her face with her palms...

She somehow laughed at herself bitterly thinking...

Sharad, disguised himself for 6 months and used her for his own benefits and she was too dumb to believe him, hoping for a better future...

Sameer, had already given her 6 months' notice, ensuring she should not have any dreams and hopes... and now showing his concern for her...

Her Parents, staying in same city but not bothered once to meet her and ask if she is happy or not... even they forced her to use wrong ways to get money from her rich husband and support them...

Kamya, her best friend behaving strangely now days, whenever she is around with Sameer...

What a great life she has...?"
